When in the early 80's I ran across a book called "When the Sky Fell" I read it with fascination - the premise was that the crust displaced some 23 degrees. I also read Graham Hancock's Fingerprints of the Gods , but then as my involvement in Scientology increased, working to get my wife and my self up through the OT levels, the time to pursue more reading evaporated in the quest make money, study on evening ASHO BC etc.
Some 5 or 6 years ago Scientology declared me after giving the IAS some $120K+ , and lord know how much money to get both me and my wife up on OT 7, including staying at the FH or the Sand Castle. I began to read about Scientology on the internet and was flabbergasted to find out I had been had. How I had bought into Hubbard's lies.
I discovered ESMB and being that I was curious about things spiritual in nature, I started posting some of the things I found, assuming that many here would have the same interest. Well. I was disabused of that idea. Some did - some didn't, some were so betrayed by Hubbard, they shied away with a vengeance. Some attacked the idea with venom.
When I tried to post some of my experiences - I became a pariah. But I didn't give up hope. Once these people believed. Why couldn't they move beyond their negative experiences?
One of the posters here had a thread about Stars being electrical in nature. I thought: That's interesting, because it never made any sense that the sun was a massive fusion explosion - if so, why was it cooler on the interior than the corona? So I began to watch many videos on the Electronic Universe theory. I didn't post much about that field of research for whatever reason.
But it led me to the grand solar minimums. This is actual science, and has much research behind it. In a nut shell, I found that the sun is a variable star, it is not emitting the same energy level year after year While it has short 11 year sunspot cycles, it has the longer cycles of the grand solar minimums and grand solar maximums. The Grand solar minimums were periods of great cooling - the last big one was the Maunder Minimum, during which millions perished. Due to the regularity of the cycles, we are entering yet another.
So I began posting on the climate change thread many of the different articles I had run across debunking the Manmade Climate Change nee Global Warming. Those posts had some agreement - they didn't challenge anyone's credulity.
My interests led me to the Megalithic constructions around the globe, which easily proved the existence of a prior advanced civilization. There are many photos of their construction, they can be seen in the flesh if one so desires. I posted a short lived thread on the subject.
I also ran across Sheldrakes work on psychic phenomena, some of which I had experienced my self. Perhaps that was sort of a confirmation bias? But when I posted about his work I was met with general derision, though some like Roger, admired his work. Oh, he was debunked! some claimed, and so I became disabused of posting more about him.
The same reaction was to follow my posting work by Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Ph.D. and his series on the composition of the sun, his proofs that it was not a plasma ball as generally accepted, but condensed matter - solid and liquid hydrogen.
I had the idea that, because I was a Class 6 auditor, I could answer questions that came up by curious newcomers posting here, about how the tech worked. I feel that the tech is plenty wacky by itself and it didn't need erroneous ideas of it spread around for the simple reason - if a non-scientologist were to talk to a scientologist and spout incorrect concepts, he would lose the attention of the scientologist needlessly. How did that fare? Dagwood Gum accused me of being a Scientologist and put me on ignore.
I must admit that many times I was in a hurry to dash off to work, or whatever, and didn't fully read and grok what was being said, having assumed the writers intent incorrectly. Hence my responses were non-sequitur. Please accept my apologies.
Many of my political posts were made by myself, a person who did not follow politics, was unschooled on the intimate details of it and that it was a learning process on my part, which wasn't tolerated, the subject of yet more derision.
More and more through my wanting to share my thoughts, ideas, feelings, things I find interesting and post bout are the butt of jokes. I don't know how you would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. I kind of ignore it, don't read those posts. Sorry.
Where this is leading is this:
Apparently, things aren't what the seem to be. As I read more about climate change, the electric universe, the grand solar minimums, looked at graphs of temperature / CO2, etc. a picture began to surface. Not a rosy one.
Much of this runs counter to what is taught in school, universities, so I guess you can take it with a grain of salt.
When I posted the thread: Is The Sun Conscious, it was to illuminate the idea - the sun reacts to stimuli in a complex manner - I don't think it is conscious as you and I are, but it's reaction to stimuli ( changes in the orbits of the planets, interstellar gas and dust clouds to name a couple) could be likened to a form of consciousness.
The sun is a variable star - and if you have any curiosity about astronomy, you are well aware stars can go nova - explode. But some are not destroyed in a nova - some have repetitive mini novas - they are characterized by multiple dust shells. There's photographs of them. Could our sun be one of those?
Recently I watched an account that was the question the CIA asked the Rand Corp to solve back in the sixties.
Much ado was made of the Noah's flood, the search for the same. That there was a great flood is the subject of many stories passed down in many cultures. There is also physical evidence. For example: the greatest source of ivory in the 1800s was Siberia. There were bone fields of hundreds of dead mammoths in the corners of rivers, Those animals were swept along the rivers - piled up in the curves where the rotted. A flood had apparently washed the vast herds out to sea, leaving behind those bone yards.
According to Vogt - the CIA and NASA determined to find out if the sun has micro novas, thus the reason for the moon walks was to find evidence of these mini novas - and once they did, they never bothered to return to the moon. What the found, among other things - micro beads of molten glass containing heavy elements such as aluminum 26. Dust blown from the sun in a micro nova. They repeat about every 12,500 years. The last one was at the Younger dryas and we are due for another in the not too distant future.
From what I gather, the earth, reacting to the lessening of the solar output, its magnetosphere weakens, the magnetic pole wanders (which it is doing) further and further south. The poles are increasing their wander - they are moving faster.
The rotation of the earth also slows - it is linked the magnetic field. The Rand corporation was also looking for the relationship between the mini novas and the slowing of the planet. They found the proof.
Yes - we have all heard the end is coming, doom and gloom, we have watched all manner of movies, read books of post apocalypse stories, and have heard mankind suffers from amnesia. It does not know it's history.
Much of this has alternative explanations given by science. However, if this, if true, would be a catastrophe of biblical proportions.
So there are these two cataclysm hypothesis - the sun micro novas and the other is the earth's rotation slows or stops or worse, reverses, when the poles flip. Or worse, they are linked and occur simultaneously. That is the position of the below video.
If it happens, it being the magnetic pole flips, and if the rotation of the earth suddenly slows, no longer being driven by the magnetic field, the oceans, due to their inertia would flood over the continents, washing everything away. Is there any evidence this happened before? Yes, actually. If you look at the pictures of the continental shelf there are many vast unexplained canyons. They look all the world like vast quantities water was running down into the empty sea bottoms. And yet - there is no currents flowing down the canyons. Could they be runoff of massive flooding? Quite probably.
Do I believe this?
I certainly have questions, such as what about the inertia of the crust? Wouldn't it keep the planet spinning? However, look at the Himalayas. They were allegedly caused by India crashing into Asia. Was it the slow process science espouses or a sudden one, as in the above hypothesis above and mentioned in my Scientology and Catastrophe thread?
That's up to you to decide.
So, if true, its a really interesting scenario. If not, it is a conspiracy theory and junk science. But I feel the obligation to mention it. Whether you scoff or find it interesting, as I hope you will, it is certainly a conundrum to solve.
So the bottom line is this: I have much to thank ESMB for, frustrating though it may have been. Thanks to posters and to Emma for creating such a place to communicate.
