Default A "call to arms" from Jason Beghe (About SPtimes story)

Copy pasted from WWP

http://forums.whyweprotest.net/15-me...s-story-48092/

[quote]I know of someone who was compelled after reading the articles in the SP Times to write a letter corroborating Marty's, Mike's, Tom's and Amy's accounts. Miscavige has ordered his staff to swear to the reporters that these were outright lies. If all the people who witnessed the events that they describe-or similar ones-write letters to The Times reporters that verify their veracity, it might help substantiate their stories. It would also, I suspect, (as it was for my friend who wrote to them) be cathartic for those who do. If the cult is holding something over your head as blackmail that might make you hesitate, know that these journalists would not publish your name if you ask that they do not. Miscavige is banking on the idea that if he gets 20+ people (including the victims themselves in some cases) to say that these events never happened, their numbers will cast doubt on those 'four isolated and bitter apostates'. On the off chance that Miscavige's tactic is effective on some readers, why not get a hundred letters to those reporters and give DM a dose of his own medicine? It could even lead to a nice follow-up piece in The Times... Overwhelming numbers may prove overwhelming.

Love,
Jason Beghe Real good post.

I read an article from the Editor of the SP Times this AM before it was published (don't know if it has been yet) and the most significant part of it was, he refused DeMons Dead Agent folder on Rathbun, Scobee and Rinder because anything DeMon was presenting was coming from those individual's confessionals. He wasn't recognizing specifically Scientology as a religion (confidentiality of confessionals) but was acknowledging the act for all religions. He was also very critical of DeMon's type of defense and essentially declawed him. It was wonderful.

My point is if you wish in one hand and shit in the other, what's going to fill up first?

There just may not be any sane, rational and truthful witnesses and it becomes a "he said against she said". Yes, if there were substantiating reports, send them in. I doubt the SP Times would publish what they did without proof, knowing well, COB will go livid and unleash his dogs of war on the paper.

COBs first "attack" was brushed aside.

BUT, EVERYONE HERE has a story they've either told and/or can tell again. I can't say all of them are nightmares, but all of them tell tales that are at best too bad and wrong. Send those in, even if they have nothing to do with DeMon.

DeMon represents Scientology as it is. Tell the reporters about Scientology and they'll get it.

So they get inundated with emails all about the same "stuff".

Yes, instead of write your congressman, this is to say, write your reporter at the SP Times. Your story may not be big enough to print specifically and probably not, but the reporter will say something about that five foot stack of emails.

Default Jason Beghe

I think it would have more impact if he did a short video on the subject.
The other ones he did were amazing and had a great impact on me personally.

Come on Jason, I'm sure there are othes out there thinking the same.

Jason's already spoken on the subject afaik. What we need is more ex's who worked with miscavige to back up what Rinder, Rathburn, Scobee & Co have said. To be honest I don't think it matters what decade or era the experience was from, or where it was, just back those peeps up.

The Co$ & DM aren't going to be taken down by Anon & Old Gaurd, it's gonna be ex's that have to do that as you're the ones with the know how of the workings and methods and the mindset of the Cult. One of the ways to take decisive action is to speak out. Right now it's a handful of stories, the more that come out the harder it is to turn around and say 'isolated cases' or 'bitter former members'. And what's more, there's a timelimit on when you can have an effect. This is going to fade into the background after a while and after that people just won't care. To make the most impact you have to talk now.

This may be a fairly big story but if enough information comes out you could have a tidal wave of expose after expose and give the cult and it's micro controller nowhere to hide.

I don't remember Mr. Beghe saying anything about beatings on those videos. He said that he was around Miscavige, did he not? Did HE witness this stuff himself?

Ol' davey woulda been on his best behavior around any Public, especially celebs, so I'm sure he didn't witness any beatings and would be surprised if he had.

But I would also love to see Jason do more vids!

If anyone here HAS seen violence, whether by DM, or by any Church management, then please send it in. The "witness accounts" DM will be getting are going to sound all the same - DM is wonderful, a gentle soul etc.

Make sure you mention WHY you didnt report it to authorities, and WHY ex's keep their mouths shut, and WHY you went along with it at the time - that will help people to understand why everyone in who knows the truth is adamantly defending DM right now.

Default Sending a letter.

Hi Cantsay and the others, I will get a letter sent from a friend who was witness to abuse in ANZO recently, I think it shows up the culture for what it is, I believe if this was done by all those who have been abused or know of abuse it would make an impact.
