Much is made of Scientology's relatively small membership, but its membership has always been small. Despite this, many - perhaps a million, or more, over fifty years - have been "driven through their Orgs." While being "driven through," many have lost their youth. Some have lost their life savings. Others have lost their families. Some have lost their sanity, and some have lost their lives. Scientology keeps the products of their work, keeps their money, and often keeps their children and, then, having been "run through Scientology," and drained of their vitality, such people are discarded. So the number of importance is not how many are now in Scientology, but how many have been "run through," and vampire-ized, by Scientology.
