Ironic LRH quotes

I don't have the exact reference to hand, but another ironic "thing" is that people with high Security Clearances can't get auditing.

Yet LRH, working in Naval Intelligence during a war, almost definitely had one.

There were thousands of low level functionaries working in Naval Intelligence during World War II, and Hubbard was, briefly, one of those.

Hubbard was never a spy or secret agent for Naval Intelligence, although he sought to create that impression at times.

Hubbard's history is known; the contents of Scientology doctrine are known, publicized and secretive; Scientology's sleazy criminal past is known (to a fair extent), and Scientology's current criminal activities will - hopefully - eventually be fully brought into the light of day.

Scientology is not really "ironic," it's duplicitous.

Note added later: Probably, "exposed," or "made available for examination," would be better wording than "known."

While much has become available for examination, the process of examination, and understanding, takes time.

I doubt I'd buy even that. Considering that there's no evidence for it, except his word. However, the 'intelligence officer' on a ship or at a small facility was usually some lower grade officer, whose duty was the encryption and decryption of radio traffic, and the censoring of mail.

That sounds more likely as the genesis of Ron's 'Intelligence' duty.

You're right. In fact, I went over this years ago with an old time (ex) Scientologist, who had been in the Navy as an officer, and Hubbard's duties - briefly - had to do with censoring mail going out to families, girl friends, from sailors, etc.

As I understand it, this involved using a razor blade to cut out references to any locations, etc.

Right now there is a move, by Scientology Inc., and its agents, to present Hubbard as a mysterious (impossible to fathom) "legend," and to present Scientiology as having a supply of potent "Upper upper levels," yet to be released. The idea is that no one can, legitimately, "judge" Hubbard (except to praise him, of course), since he's a mysterious "legend," and no one can legitimately judge Scientology (except for praise, of course), since "the best is yet to come."

It's the same old story: the Study of Knowing How to Know does not, really, want to be known or understood.

And that's Elronic!

Thank goodness Hubbard never said anything about people with a drug use background being unfit for auditing.

Zinj and Veda, you are right, there were many "low level functionaries" in the war...that's the nature of the military...compartmentalization.

That's no reason that what you claim was or wasn't Hubbard's function, however.

Or that it has any bearing on what issue I brought up.

Having been in the military, I know how easy it is to alter and change files...I could have changed thousands of files (for better or worse) because of what access I had (as a "low level" functionary).

This was during a world war AND our government isn't exactly known for its sterling record-keeping abilities.

This is just another attempt at invalidating Hubbard and then desperately hoping that people will not differentiate between Hubbard and Scientology.

Frankly, I think you're full of hot gas, and only weighted shoes keep you from floating to the ceiling.

Your tales of "being in combat, almost dying," etc., also exude this same gaseous substance.

I hope you won't be too offended if I don't take you seriously.

Nothing you do really offends me...you are more comic relief than anything...

But to business, the key words in your post are "I think"...

The point really is, is that you don't like me because:

1. I study Scientology and find benefit in it.

and

2. I called you out on several of you own ridiculous comments; one where you claimed to have read everything on psychedelics and of course you ignored my questions as to how you did so re: the money, travel, learning new indigineous languages, etc., etc. etc.

and

3. I don't buy into your repeated spamming of the same bullshit, over and over again, of which you are not the author and I call you out on it.

Until you spend a year in Iraq where you don't know if you will see the people who love you and you love (should there be anyone who fits that description in your life, which I doubt) you should probably not run your cock-holster.

But then, running your cock-holster about things you know nothing of seems to be what you are best at...so who am I to complain about someone utilizing their most honed skill?

I guess everyone has the right to feel good about themselves.

P.S. Have fun pretending to ignore this posting...

I can't help but laugh.

I like both Veda and Bjorkist.

But, of the two, Bjorkist is definitely funnier!

I've covered previously what I consider that you're about, and what you are attempting to do on the Forum.

Reread that if you need a memory refresher.

Actually, there's a 1986 Flag Order stopping anyone who has taken LSD from being eligible for Flag services. This despite any previous auditing, purif or length of time since taking it.

I assume that one is only forbidden for the current lifetime, but by the time I'm ready for that answer who knows what other variations will ensue.

I suspect the pool of people who have done LSD in a *previous* lifetime will be relatively small.

That's true, you have expressed your erroneous opinion several times...but, according to LRH, the hardest thing for a thetan to do is admit that they are wrong...

The proof is in the Vedic Pudding.

"The greatest overt is making others guilty of overts."

November 26, 1959, The Handling of Cases-Greatest Overt

This is a rather amusing story by Phil Spickler about the DC ACC that occurred right after, in Jan 1960...
http://www.lightlink.com/archive/spickler/HowCouldThisHappen.PJS

Nah, that's not "the greatest overt," but it is an LRH quote and an "LRH datum," and that's what counts.

The (child-like variety) Hubbardites and their "LRH datums" (sic) are like little kids in one of those plastic inflatable rooms with thousands of brightly colored plastic balls.

Each colored ball is imprinted with an "LRH datum."

Wheee!

"An LRH datum for every occasion."

And now, expect a message from the Anti-LRH...:)

Excerpt from:

http://www.lightlink.com/archive/spickler/HowCouldThisHappen.PJS

"One poor chap who was auditing one of the dangerous pcs failed to handle an origination by said pc about needing to go to the toilet, and instead treated it as though the pc was blowing in an effort not to confront a withhold.

That was a fatal assumption, because to the shock and horror of 34 other sessions in that room, there was suddenly a loud shout and the unmistakeable sound of a fist striking some part of the human facial anatomy, followed by a chair tipping over, with more angry shouts; and then out of the corner of our eyes we could see this violent pc dragging his auditor upside-down over to a large sort of barrel-shaped wastecan and stuffing the poor auditor into it, head first, following which Jan Halpern quietly and calmly escorted the dangerous pc outside of the courseroom to the toilet, leaving the auditor, legs waving back and forth as he vainly struggled to get out of the container."

The pc was Bill Fiske - the auditor dumped in the trash can was George Siedler.

Ah! the good old days! :happydance:

I wonder why George never told me that story?

Good question!

If you notice almost no-one in Scio tells you about the goofs they've made in session.

Would that be a mutually agreed-upon missed withhold?

Part of the tacit Code of Silence - "I won't confront my attrocities - if you don't confront yours" - "I'll shift the blame of your goof onto someone else - if you will shift the blame of my goof onto someone else!" Etc., etc. :omg:

I've thought a lot about what you have said about an org atmosphere in which overts are not to be tolerated and how this suppresses auditing gains. Just as you said, it's no longer a safe space to really DUPLICATE AND BE YOUR EVILNESS, and so your evilness gets bigger and even more packed up.

In the Church of Scientology, you can only be two kinds of Cause - the God of Creation and the God of Survival - never the God of Destruction.

George Seidler used to be a very good auditor. And in his mission, in the mid to late 1980's, he was able to create somewhat of a space that retained the old swashbuckling attitude of the 50's and 60's in Scientology, as long as I was able to hold off the SMI CO EUS.

Lyle Sudrow used to show up and tell us stories of the early days, running around with Ron. He said Ron used to instill you with a sense of rebellion against the status quo, to imbue you with the right to be a Big Being who when they made an overt, they made it BIG! And then they all would laugh about it afterwards.

What's become of Scientology is just so fucked up.

George has been so beaten down now by the new regime, that as a Class 8, OT 8, he is nothing more than a slave, completely trapped in a game he can not leave and can not change.

When you really believe, and you have your beliefs turned around and used against you, you don't really have a chance.

Poor George. A few years ago he tried to threaten me. I had a URL that I had registered before I left LA with the word "Scientology" in it. Now nothing more than a parrot for the orders of OSA in Chicago, he told me that I would go to jail for having done that, as all other critics had gone to jail who had tried to do the same.

Poor George.

Class 8, OT 8 Slave.

Totally gone.

No doubt the prime mechanism involved was making him guilty of overts.
