While I do not have much info on circumstances, I recently found out that Jim Hamre passed away last week. Jim was a staff member at the Ventura Mission for many years, and prior to that was staff at Riverside Mission. He is known by many in the Southern California area.
    RIP, Jim.

Wow! I am shocked. He must have only been in his early 60s.
What was the cause of death?

I knew him as a fellow staffer at the Riverside Mission in the 1970s.
He was a Comm Course sup who switched to being a reg.

I didn't know him but knew of him when I was in. Sad. So young. RIP, Jim Thought I would post the details and contact info for those who did know him, who might want to know.

Did Jim die because he was not getting adequate medical treatment for his diabetic condition? :confused2:
