According to Wikipedia, the UKPNP is the United Kashmir People's National Party, which is a political party which believes in freedom, democracy and equality, and advocates an independent, united and socialist Kashmir.

I've made numerous cross-posts about the efforts of the Church of Scientology National Affairs Office. While this item doesn't involve the CSNAO, I believe the same considerations are involved -- i.e., the purpose is to help the Church of Scientology gain support from and form alliances with churches, religions, and civil rights organizations. This may also help the COS make inroads with the local emigre / immigrant population.
