Tom was probably thinking that this week is as bad as it gets, and then THIS story comes out:

Nicole Kidman befriends Katie Holmes

Nicole Kidman has become friends with Katie Holmes.

The actresses - both ex-wives of Hollywood star Tom Cruise - have reportedly been in contact by phone and enjoy gossiping with each other about their families and careers.

A source said: "[They had] a really nice conversation. They talked a little about what it was like being married to Tom and have stayed in touch ever since.

Tom Cruise is the authority on being a combat soldier. (He acted in "Born on the 4th of July")

Tom Cruise knows the history of combat, you don't. (He read "The Art of War" as Ron instructed)

Tom Cruise can confront war and violence, you can't.

Quite strangely, when the worldwide media was flooded with dozens of eyewitnesses to David Miscavige waging war and committing violence against Scientology execs, Tom's authority, knowingness and confront seemed to be absent. Being too fearful to respond in public about the physical abuse, Tom asked his lawyer Bert Fields to release a statement and it was done.

Bert said that his client, Mr. Cruise, was familiar with all the accusations of physical beating but that Tom "…did not believe it."

Notwithstanding the fact that Tom cannot even confront (let alone do something) about violent combat in his immediate environs, this does not change Tom's megalomaniacal estimates of his own status in comparing himself to a soldier in Afghanistan.

Good luck Tom, your guru and your best friend are sociopathic con men and you are well on your way to joining them.

It struck me as was reading this that maybe tom really doesn't have a clue about Afghanistan. He seems to be filled with so much misinformation about so many things. Lost in the world according to hubbard data implant.

Really? Tom cruise thinks that his work is as difficult as a soldier in Afghanistan? I could just imagine he and his BFF riding in a Humvee down a road riddled with IEDs. They would both be crying like little girls begging for some real soldiers to protect them. How would the two of them have performed in Viet Nam? The Korean War? Iraq?

We will never know because they are both too chicken shit to ever really do such a thing unless it's in a movie or a fantasy in their mind.

Tweedle DM & Tweedle Tom would probably be vicious bastards, war crimes, no remorse, because, ya know, they are arrogantly entitled to rule the universe in their own sick wee minds. In my opinion they are the types to kick a homeless person in the nuts because they are so much better.

Hmmm, I look at the antics of TC and in reading the OP and citations and I've come to the conclusion that the SOB is delusional.

Not only does he think he is SSOOooo special, and talented, and wonderful, and handsome with that flashing set of pearly-whites of his (where's the dimples, Tom . . . nobody is good-looking without dimples!) but he behaves like an absolute imbecile!

That salute to the COB near sickened me . . . is this his idea of how real military men throw a salute? :duh::duh: Christ, if you can't get that right, even after playing all those phony soldier parts you've been coached and directed in . . . . you are a loser man, a loser!

I'm a pretty easy going fella when it comes to people being stupid . . . but phony I find intolerable. And you is, as I used to say in Oz, as phony as sweet smelling sh*t.

Wow! What a terrific man Ryan is!

I have felt very strongly about the recent grandiose delusional shit that has come out of Cruise's mouth regarding his acting life being as "difficult" as serving in Afghanistan. Frankly, it is beyond offensive to those that have served in combat.

Cruise has totally lost the plot and is so far removed from reality, he needs serious help. Ryan, on the other hand, is a real man, a decent man, a man I freely applaud.

For Ryan:

:clap::clap::clap:

You gonna man up Cruise? I ain't holding my breath. You have done nothing but act like a school-boy for years and years. The sisters and I laugh at you!

We are wondering over at WWP and ESMB what all the colorfull signage means on his chest.

What epic battles and operations do they signify ?

They signify everything and anything. From years in the Sea Org to the “OEC campaign” to “Building the Cine Castle” and everything in between.

Missing from the leaks:

"Now your counsel has publicly equated your absence from Suri for these extended periods of time as being analogous to someone fighting in Afghanistan," opposing counsel asks him. "Are you aware of that?"

"I didn't hear the Afghanistan," Cruise replies. "That's what it feels like and certainly on this last movie it was brutal. it was brutal."

"Do you believe that the situations are the same?" Cruise is asked.

"Oh come on," Cruise says, "you know, we're making a movie."

I don't like lies.

I like what that lawyer did there because this is just what Ethics Officers do to people sitting with them on Ethics handlings.

This is what the RFW site does.

This is what Church of Scientology BPIs do with reports on SPs.

This is what "Who is [person]" websites put up by the CoS do.

What goes around comes around.

And his fellow actors love Cruise too....

When Wahlberg took the stage with Berg and Petty Officer Luttrell after the credits rolled for a brief Q&A, he looked distraught and distracted. After Luttrell explained how he and Berg teamed up for the film, the moderator, Festival Director Jacqueline Lyanga, turned to Wahlberg to ask about his rigorous training and the rough shoot. Wahlberg looked visibly pained by the question and started on what would become an almost five-minute monologue. “For actors to sit there and talk about ‘oh I went to SEAL training’? I don’t give a f-ck what you did. You don’t do what these guys did. For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as being in the military? How f-cking dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for two hours,” Wahlberg said.

Mark Wahlberg had some harsh words anyone who compares acting in Hollywood to fighting in the military during Q&A following the world premiere of his new film Lone Survivor Tuesday night. While Wahlberg did not mention Tom Cruise by name, he did allude to alleged comments that actor recently made comparing shooting on location to fighting in Afghanistan.

Wahlberg was asked a question about the shoot for his new film, in which he portrays one of three real-life Navy SEALS on a mission in Afghanistan when he unleashed this impassioned rant:

This, from TMZ:

"As we reported, we have seen the video of Tom Cruise's deposition where he makes the Afghanistan reference. When the opposing lawyer says, "Now your counsel has publicly equated your absence from Suri for these extended periods of time as being analogous to someone fighting in Afghanistan," Cruise does not react -- he certainly doesn't make the question look like a joke.

In fact, when Cruise responds, "I didn't hear the Afghanistan, but that's what it feels like and certainly on this last movie it was brutal, it was brutal," he doesn't make it look like it's an obvious joke. It seems more like a macho answer.

But then, the opposing lawyer crystallizes the point and says, "Do you believe the situations are the same?" You can see a light bulb go off in Cruise's head, and he realizes where the lawyer is going, and he snaps, "Oh come on." At this point Cruise is disavowing any comparison."

At this point, I think it would only be fair to Tom for his lawyer to go ahead and release that video so that the world can judge for themselves how Tom was only joking.
