Hi,
I'm writing to you today to ask for your help. I believe I have been targeted and set up for financial ruin by a Scientologist working on behalf of Scientology.
As you probably know, I am retired, and I sell on eBay as warriormark in order to supplement my income. Recently I was burned big time by a buyer who falsely alleged to eBay that I sold him Flag Orders that were photocopies! (I did not.) He demanded all of his money back ($1435.50) after previously purchasing a small amount (50) of Flag Orders (on May 12th), and after indicating how happy he was, a couple of days later he sent me a list of approximately 3,000 more that he was looking to buy. I spent 18 hours putting together a list, and only after he agreed to purchase them did I list them on eBay. Now he wants his money back, and I don't have it. I currently have $162 to my name. Below is the whole story (with all of the details), which I posted about on Facebook yesterday at

The bottom line is that right now (Wednesday evening, June 10th), I have 3 days to raise the funds to pay him back. I'm asking for your help because you are a friend of mine who has helped me in one way or another in the past. If you are able to send me anything at all my family (wife, daughter, grand daughter, and I) will be forever grateful.
Here's the whole story as posted on Facebook. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions...
DESPERATE CALL FOR HELP!
On Tuesday, May 12th I sold 50 Flag Orders on eBay to a Scientologist for $100 and shipped them to him the next day, May 13th. The listing for the sale is at

He then asked me if I had a list of other FOs for sale. I told him I do not, but that he could send me his want list and I would look and get back to him with the ones I do have. At 7:13 pm CDT on May 14th I received three emails from him with three separate file attachments containing a total of almost 3,000 FOs! I worked through the night, spending the next 18 hours checking to find out which ones I had.
On May 15th at 1:20 PM Central Time I sent him a list of 565 pages of FOs that I had. Three hours later I received a reply confirming that he would purchase them at our agreed upon price of $2 per page, for a total of $1130.00, but he said he needed time to get his PayPal funding in order. He asked me if I could hold off on listing them on eBay until he had his money together.
I replied that I could. In the meanwhile, while I was waiting, on Saturday, May 16th, the buyer received my shipment of the 50 Flag Orders that I sold him on May 12th. (USPS tracking confirms this.)
On May 18th, he told me he had funded his PayPal with sufficient funds to do the big purchase of 565 FOs for an agreed-upon price of $1130 + $5.50 shipping via USPS First Class Package. I listed them on eBay that evening at 7:12 PM Pacific Time. He bought them 7 minutes later. The link to my ad is here:

He next emailed me a list of dozens of HCOBs and asked me if I have any of them. (I do not, and even if I did, I would NOT have sold them as there are many, many confidential issues, and I'm not one to give RTC a reason to sue me.) In the same email he indicated he was interested in buying Base Orders, as well as Flag Orders issued for the Royal Scotman and Avon River, IF they were authored by Hubbard. I replied that I did, and as before, I indicated that I would get back to him with my lists. He asked me to hold off on shipping the 565 FOs and indicated that he wished to have everything shipped together.
On May 20th at 9:21 pm CDT I listed a bunch of Base Orders for sale for $200. Twelve minutes later he bought them. The link to my ad is here:

On May 21st at 9:11 pm CDT I listed the Royal Scotman and Avon River FOs for $100. Fifty three minutes later he bought them. The link to my ad is here:

At the buyer's request, I shipped all three sales together as one package on May 22nd. The buyer received my shipment on May 30th -- 8 days later. (This is an unusually long time for a package to get to California; the delay was caused by the US Postal Service who misrouted my shipment from Dallas to Atlanta and then to Memphis, when normally packages go from Austin to Dallas to Bell Gardens, California.)
That same day, May 30th, the buyer opened 3 refund requests. He alleged to eBay that I sold him photocopies. I advised him that they are NOT photocopies, that they are EXACTLY as described in my eBay listings. I attempted to reason with him, but he is firm on wanting all of his money back. He has now opened 3 cases against me to force me to refund his money.
The trouble is that I no longer have any of it. At this moment I have a grand total of $110 to my name. (I spent all of the $1430 within 2 days of my sales as I was running 2 months behind on my bills.)
I learned from eBay's high value claims department that EVERY TIME there is a simple ALLEGATION of "counterfeit" items being sold, they come down on the buyer's side. I have no recourse. I cannot appeal. I am screwed...
If anyone can help me, I am asking that you send money to my PayPal account:
[email protected]. If I don't come up with $1430 in two days it will affect my search placement, selling limits, and other factors.
If you do send money to me via PayPal, please use the feature of sending money to friends or family. Doing this will not cost any fees to you or to me.
Thanks for your consideration. Please help me if you can.
