Where's Kelly Preston?

I heard that Kelly Preston was to talk about how she was dealing with her grieving over the loss of her son:

To date I have heard nothing; but rumor that John is questioning (thank God) scientology after their tragic loss.

Any connection?

I don’t like Hollywood drama and tend to stay ignorant of it, but the *last* thing I need to hear is Kelly Preston’s over rehearsed talk on how scientology helped her through her grieving when I personally think Jett was denied access to the proper care due to his parents scientological beliefs. I have no first hand access to facts. I have second generation experience in scientology. I know how they feel abut Autism and the *real world* handling of that condition.

I also would greatly like for John to publically leave and get the help he needs. My heart hurts for these people. The last thing I want to see is the scientology vultures swoop down to use it as a PR arm for the cult.

Kelly has canceled her appearance

Kelly Preston will not give her planned speech at the California Governor's Conference for Women on the death of her son with actor John Travolta, PopEater reports.

Preston had planned on speaking about grief and dealing with the loss of her son Jett. He died in January at the age of 16 from seizures.

Preston and Travolta have yet to speak publicly about their son's death or give any interviews on the topic.

Preston said it is "just too soon" to discuss her grief. The panel was to discuss the grieving process hosted by California first lady Maria Shriver.

Travolta's wife says Jett suffered from Kawasaki disease and credits a detoxification program for helping his health improve.
