Shocking...

The first video's first 2 minutes, telling staff that the real world actually has human rights we all take as simple and basic. Truly UFB, shocking, and frightening. And multi-year sentences to the RPF for silly infractions.

Thanks for posting, FTS. Yes, he brings up many valid points. I find it so frustrating though. Just a few months ago, this would have fallen on deaf ears. Actually, I would make sure it didn't reach my ears. I would just view him as being an SP or very PTS. And to think the SP's are actually on the inside and EVERY Scientologist to one degree or another, still being in the Church, is PTS to it. Gosh, I am so glad I'm out now!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Wow!! This is amazing, he really does cover all bases. Seven years on the RPF, disgusting, DM ought to by hung drawn a quartered. It's a pity someone couldn't sneak a few mobiles into the RPF with net connection and let them see what's really going on in the outside world.

Thanks for that FTS.

No offense, but what kind of bonehead would tolerate such treatment?

I could never ever really understand why someone would want to join staff,
let alone, sea org to begin with. Such people seem ripe for the picking.

I could see why one would feel trapped in the idea that Scientology had
the answers, but its pretty obvious that staff don't generally move up
the bridge quickly.

How is this different than a 7 year abusive marriage? Or working
at a job you hate because you don't feel you have much choice?

Scientology just makes a science out of the nastier aspects of
human nature, competition and survival that we take for granted.

Its a tough unfair world. Some folks are born rich and well connected,
others are born beautiful. Some are born into disadvantaged situations
and manage to break free.

That would be a pass on the empathy drill, Pitbull.

What kind of bonehead? Someone who cares about other people. Yes, they were tricked; but they cared.

Yes, many do "care" but the fact is clear:

Many of of the staffers and sea org were/are wonderful folks.

But many of them were goons. And all are culpable.

How many of these "nice folks" made your life miserable at one
time or another by playing along?

Leaving and coming clean is a great start. We all learned
some harsh lessons. That doesn't mean these folks were
some kind of tragic heros.

They actually owe us big time and should be thankful if
we can forgive them and give them a pass.

If you really believe that you could never really have been a sci, surely Pitbull.

Were you just on the periphery of the whole thing then?

Pittbull,

You miss the point. Blame, resentment and pay back makes everyone loose.

"The quality of mercy is not strain'd
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath: it is twice bless'd
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes."

OK, just to be fair, I listend to this guys tape right now and its a pretty decent wake up.

But yes, in my case, I was never EVER a 100 percent card carrying dupe.

I was skeptical from the beginning. I asked the questions. It was totally
OBVIOUS to me that to understand the group it was important to understand
the leadership and its intentions. If we were to "take responsiblity" as we
were always told again and again, then the most reponsible thing to do
would be to not take anything for granted and get to the bottom of
what was Scientology, the organization, the leadership, and especially the intentions for the future.

I did find some valuable things in scientology, but remember in those days (not too long ago) there was no internet and not the same easy access to information. And more importantly, not so easy access to "alternatives" like other methods, splinter groups etc. The game is really over for those scumbags now.

But I was always skeptical about organized groups and Scientology had/has
red flags all over the place.

I can easily understand why someone would be interested in Scientology. But why why why would someone give up everything to join the sea org without really knowing what they were joning?

That's a very big question. And it can be answered for you, but first just sign this contract, stop using the internet, don't communicate with any disbelievers, etc. Now we have some processes that will help you get to the heart of the question.

People have questions. People have weaknesses. Along comes groups, like Scientology, with all the answers. And these same people are open to be taken advantage of. This is how I see it, in a nutshell.

You are so rude.

Even though we are ex's here I never saw anyone else call a staff member a '100 percent card carrying dupe' in such a derogatory fasion.

Why pretend that you were ever a sci?

I never called "that" guy a 100 percent card carrying dupe. I said
that I was never one.

Lots of folks in Scientology don't like many things about it.
They talk about it casually amoungst themselve, and
also frequently get reprimanded for any form of disagreement.

But its there. I've seen it. I've experienced it and met
many who didn't like the system but tolerated it because
they saw some benefit.

The truth is pretty rude at times.

Boneheads?? Well from experience, these particular 'boneheads' as you like to call them, were people with huge hearts that genuinly wanted to help their fellow humans create a better world. That ignorant statement could only be made by someone who perhaps does not have the ability to want to help the planet. The fact that you have made this comment at all shows first of all a lack of empathy and understanding of the mechanics involved in brainwashing nor the gradients thereof, and secondly, is perhaps a personlity type that thinks only and ever of themselves. In fact the above does not really even warrant a reply.

Yeah, right. You actually implied that all staff members are dupes, don't try and twist your words now I totally got what you meant.

And then you bigged yourself up like you are superior to those 'boneheads'.

Take it back, back it up or whatever but don't deny it.

Maybe you are correct that "all" staff must be boneheads to some degree.

This doesn't mean they are not compassionate individuals with a true desire
to help. They are not mutually exclusive things.

But you are still twisting my words when I said I was never a 100 percent
card carrying bonehead. I never said that to be a staff member makes
you a 100 percent bonehead.

I can understand that some people THRIVE on being in a controlled environment like scientology. They want a sense of belonging. Many
love the discipline and being told what to do. I do understand WHY many
poeple.

Scientology is very good at preying on the weak. That doesn't make them bad people.

But the weak are not just preyed upon by Scientology. Many spend their whole lives floating from one situation to another where their good nature is taken advantage of.

What do they owe? And who is the "us" that they owe?

I don't actually know your history, PB, whether you were a Scientologist or not. Maybe you are seeing things in a new way or something, and you are just voicing it now.

But you are showing a very poor understanding of what it meant to be a Scientology staff member. You are showing an almost complete ignorance with the kinds of manipulations used on people. You seem to have no idea why they would have worked, either, or who those manipulations and those coercions would have worked on.

If I'm off base, go ahead and show some understanding.

I'm watching...
