To me, the weird thing is this, if this guy had been working for the C of S for 9 years wouldn't you think that within that time there would have been some ground rules laid down about not doing ANYTHING that could get them arrested, call attention to themselves, or that is blatantly illegal? This all happened in 2013 but has all been brought to everyone's attention this week and has been picked up by the media who are investigating it and printing what they have found. The PI with the silencer committed a felony. Why would a PI that David Miscavige hired carry a silencer? let's just say that I am sure glad that I don'T have a son like David Miscavige.

Silencers are legal in Wisconsin if they are registered & a $200 tax fee was paid. Powell did not comply with this, so he committed a Class H felony, but given his status as a PI & that he had an expensive Chicago attorney (paid for by the cult), the authorities may have felt it wasn't worth the time & $$ to charge him.

Powell had stated to the Police....that other PIs were watching him....as he watched Miscavige Sr.

I am not concentrating in great detail on this......are you or others suggesting that the COS or DM was set up by getting a couple of real PI's or people posing as PI's to get themselves busted so that information on DM could be obtained?

If that is not is what has been suggested by posters here.....well maybe it happened anyway?
And even if it did not happen as an intentional set-up, by hiring so many PI's and others, DM has run the risk of setting himself for events such as these, where information will leak...somehow, someday, as it has been doing.
