Tonight at the Church of Scientology Community Center in Los Angeles, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Dr. Brian Hooker and Nation of Islam Minister Tony Muhammad will participate in an event highlighting theories that the U.S. Government is deliberately causing autism in African-American children using vaccines. Kennedy is the son of the late Senator from Massachusetts; Hooker is an Associate Professor at Simpson University, a small Christian liberal arts college in Redding, California. The Scientology Community Center is also known as Muhammad Mosque #27 of the Nation of Islam.

I've always thought RFK Jr. was weird. From the time he overdosed on heroin in the toilet on an airplane to the bizarre antics that surrounded the burial of his late wife who hung herself, I thought he was weird.

Now I think he is more weird. :melodramatic:

I agree. I suspect it has to do with family in-breeding & growing up with alot of privilege. Media reports still claim RFK, Jr. is a sex & drug addict.

Tony Muhammed, the Scilon-NOI leader has taken a lead in speaking out against vaccines. So has that quack Jenna Elfman.

This info came out last year via CNN from a falsified CDC study into vaccine outcomes:

A top researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr William Thompson, admits he played a key role in helping uncover data manipulation by the CDC. This fraud obscured a higher incidence of autism in African-American boys due to the MMR vaccine. The whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, came forward after a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for original data on an autism study was filed and these highly sensitive documents were received with the assistance of U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The CDC documents and discussions with the whistleblower reveal widespread manipulation of scientific data and top-down pressure on CDC scientists to suppress a causal link between the MMR vaccine and later autism diagnosis, particularly in a subset of African-American males who received their immunization “on-time” in accordance with the recommended CDC schedule.

This is bad. We need vaccinations, but we need to be able to trust our scientists and governments.

I don't look forward to the anti-vax movement pushing back.

What a disaster.

This is a consequence of reducing science education in schools. People don't understand the probabilistic implications of scientific research and want their results to be totally 'true'. Unfortunately science doesn't work like that.

It sucks more when the scientists fall for this bullshit and 'make' their research appear irrefutable.

At least one outright lie, right on the flyer. Hooker never worked for the CDC (and there is no such title as "Senior Lead Scientist" at the CDC).

Hooker is a fucking Mechanical Engineer, and yet another shining example of the Salem Hypothesis: if there is someone technically educated associated with quackery or pseudoscience, odds are very good that person is an engineer.

I've posted about this phenomenon before.

A country lead by a black man would try and make a large percentage of black kids autistic so the country could spend a lot of money supporting them?

I will never understand the American tendency to love deadly weapons and to hate vaccines that stop kids from getting illnesses that can cause disabilities and death. I'm not asking anyone to explain how guns cause peace, it's just a statement.

It's always tricky in figuring out people's motives.

My guess is that they didn't want to scare people away from vaccinations so they covered up the data. They may have justified it in their mind by saying that you would need a large number of studies to be sure.

Also, it's not a large percentage, it's a very small percentage that was increased by 3 times.

This is how the church gets around the lobbying laws non-profits are restricted about with IRS. Rallying people up for a political issue ( which it is )... using the "community room" while also hoping to lure audience members people into Scientology :omg:

RFK Jr’s anti-vax activism with Scientology and the Nation of Islam

Tony Ortega now has the story.

RFK Jr’s anti-vax activism hits lowest spot ever — with Scientology and the Nation of Islam

A long, substantive and well-written article.

But with the California bill looking like it’s going to become law, you have to wonder why Kennedy is bothering to sink this low. What’s his agenda?

Hey, maybe RFK Jr. and Tom Cruise could hook up to warn the public about chemtrails.
