Did Manson really say Scientology was too crazy for him?

I'm trying to find out if Charles Manson could be added to the big list. It would be.... interesting.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0B5ojfWryqA

In this video Tony Ortega at 21:30 min. says Charley Manson was really in, he did approx. 150 hours of auditing. Which was more than Jon Atack had! http://tonyortega.org/2013/04/06/charlie-manson-and-scientology/

I remember seeing somewhere that Manson said "Scientology was too crazy for him". If there actually is proof about that, I'd say we would be able to add Manson to the big list.

I'd like to know if there is actual proof of him saying that.

I watched a few interview clips too, but no luck.

Only things I found are reports like these

http://www.cracked.com/article_14932_the-top-10-secret-celebrity-scientologists_p10.html
http://www.thelistlove.com/10-weird-charles-manson-facts/#

Obviously it isn't Manson himself saying it but someone reporting he did.

So... please help me out, if you are aware of any proof.

I believe that in the book Helter Skelter, Manson getting Dianetic auditing is mentioned. This was done when he was in prison. When he was released, he started his cult thing and ended up a famous murderer. Should have gotten his evil purps handled.

I believe that this is his address:

Charles Manson
B-33920
P.O. Box 3476
(4A 4R-23)
Corcoran, CA 93212

You can write and ask him perhaps.

Actually.. The dedicated batshitters of Scientology's Office of Special Affairs would jump at any possibility to 'associate' (PR & propaganda term) Manson with all us SP's...

Well, those photos certainly look false... But can anyone explain who, why, how and WTF in a couple of succinct sentences?

Here's a bit from the PDF itself:

But let us back up. Note the quote from Hoover above: “Misdirect, discredit or otherwise neutralize.”
Why have so few ever asked if the alleged Tate murders might have been just another instance of
discrediting the hippies, and thereby the anti-war protesters? As we look back, we can see that no other
event so discredited and neutralized the hippie movement as the Tate murders. Due to the awful press
Charles Manson and his followers gave to the hippies, the movement was dead by early 1970. The entire
anti-war movement was dealt a crushing blow by the Tate murders, since the press used it to marginalize
not only the hippies, but all protesters and “malcontents.” This was a well-bought success for the
government, since they were able to spin the Vietnam war out for five more years, spending countless
billions more and enriching the already rich via Pentagon contracts.

Does that answer your question?

.. Does that answer your question?

It does.. It even makes a kind of perverted sense.. I myself continued to be a hippie however, and I didn't even connect the murders to the hippies or the war protests at the time.. Oh, well. I must have been dense back then. Hell, I even joined the Sinister Scam cult of Scientology!

The purpose for discrediting the Hippie and anti-war movement wasn't to cause every single Hippie to say, "Ah forget it...I'm cutting my hair, losing the jeans, listening to Perry Como and giving up Mary Jane". (Lol...when's the last time you read "Mary Jane").

No, it was to stop the movement's growth and power which was having too much of an impact on the "war state". And in effect "war economy", which we have to this day if you think about it. A state of perpetual war, which is what the power boys have wanted.

Another problem is that the Hippies, returning Vets, and increasingly even more mainstream folks were finding common ground in turning against the war and government. THIS is why the Hippie movement had to be essentially "Black PR'd". The Manson Family was just one operation. But it was a big one. Had a deep, deep impact for years to come on the national psyche.

Terrific link.

I'm not one to go in for conspiracy theories in general, but this is quite good. There is so much evidence of faked photos and interviews, faked identities, I find it very convincing. Besides the problems with photos, the strong connections between all involved and all the other factors - movie studios, money, etc. that linked them together is absolutely fascinating.

Yeah. Read a few more of Miles' articles and you might find yourself moving a few notches on the Conspiracy Theorist -- Mainstream Muppet spectrum. :)

I just read his essay on the death of Lincoln, the "But apart from that, Mrs Licoln, what did you think of the play?" guy. Powerful stuff.

Read that one too. Very intriguing. In fact, I've read at least 12 papers this past week.

Other than his genius level of intellgence and artistic ability, I have found some things that he and I have in common. We're very close in age and from the same general area of Texas. He grew up in Lubbock where I had relatives in my youth. He has lived here in Austin during some of the same time I was here. And he now lives in an area of New Mexico where I've spent a lot of time and also had relatives in my youth.

I really like how he's trying to resurrect true, classical art in all forms.

he's alive so no reason someone can't talk to him and at least get his answer to the question, but he should be specific or it will be debated like this

prove he was a scientologist is a vague thing the world has no definition for

so if charles replies to a letter or goes on video or writes a book and says he was a scientologists does that make him one? anyone can claim that and lie

ask him a few questions to see if he understands the subject? how well do you have to understand it, suppose all I know is the definition of an engram is that enough?

in the eyes of the church they will count you as one of their millions of scientologists if you walk in the door and give them your name, boop you're a scientologist!

tom cruise in his idiotic internal video said "its something you have to earn!" earn how? jump on oprah's couch?

read one book, are you now a scientologist?

there's a course hqs, hubbard qualified scientologist...

internal church paperwork that he finished a course or auditing? like they haven't shredded that...

a person that says they saw him in a church or was on a course with him?

bottom line, miscavige pops a tit when anyone mentions it

bottom line we're talking prove to the public, tony knows what he's doing, he doesn't have to reveal his sources unless he feels like it

just read the link, arcxcauseblows. It's fascinating and should answer a lot of questions.

BTW, Paul, I read a good portion of the Abraham assassination. Always thought it was staged - many of the same questions and controversies were brought up in history books decades ago, but Walt Whitman's flowery writing style is no indicator of anything and I think he relied too heavily on that. That's Whitman for you. Also, Lincoln was pretty estranged from his wife and that's not mentioned at all. I tend to think that due to the fact he was dying, it was his wish. The political angle was quite interesting, though.

Wow, Davey fits right in!

"There is another thing linking Paul Tate, Jay Sebring, Roman Polanski, and Charles Manson. They wereall very short men. While watching the NBC film of the funeral, I noticed that Paul Tate was only about5'5”. Jay Sebring was also around 5'5”. Roman Polanski is even shorter, being about 5'3”. Charles Mansonis also about 5'3”. Why would this matter, and what could it indicate? Well, if Paul Tate was in control ofthisoperation, hemayhaverecruitedpeoplethatwerealsoshort. Noonelikestogiveorderstosomeonetoweringoverhim. IsuspectoneofthequalitiestheylikedbestaboutMansonwhentheywerescouringthe local jails in 1967 for a patsy is that he was extremely short. "

The problem with interviewing Manson has been that he seems to enjoy NOT giving direct answers to questions, e.g. He goes off on weird tangents rather than answer questions directly. He dances around the questions, sometimes literally dancing around.
