Ted, I would invite you to re-inspect this statement of yours above : "My present state of awareness is that I do not exist in the absence of contacts, people, places, things, other beings to perceive and experience co-creation."

I too have collided with that phenomena, but in due course found it to be an apparancy after further processing.

[...]

Thank you, Roger!

It's not as bad as it might appear at first glance. :)

I have always had certainty of self as a spiritual being. Or perhaps I would be more correct in saying I always come back to that certainty. I do not attribute it to Hubbard's ideas as I think he was a bit screwed up on the subject.

But I would find no joy in being alone in my certainty. I am just not that self-centered and self-important. :coolwink:

Your comments about the games matrix at the recent FZ conference are right on target.

I particularly like this:

"3. The fact that one also creates or envisions the complementary or reciprocal Beingness or terminal in the game relationship and can then also choose to become that complement in order to participate in a return flow. Also that, in the game, the other player(s) one relates with coincidently create or envision you as their complementary power terminal, and when roles in the game are reversed they are co-creating each others’ Beingness or identity in the game."

Folks,

This is my problem. Not unlike others, where English is not their native language, I can read the quote above, understand it, but for the life of me I cannot put it in my own words easily as of yet. I grasp the picture holographically, but damn, I am quite inarticulate with regard to words.

Is there a "Games Matrix for Dummies" available?

BTW when I was learning latin and Greek in my younger days, I scrounged the used book stores for Greek (Classical, that is, not modern) and Latin primers for young school children.

I need very simple texts. I can't go from zero to university in a nano second.

Don't all jump in at once.

We took the twin 3 year old boys to the "Happiest Place on Earth" - no I don't mean Flag.

Then when we got home, the dog had rolled in eau de horse manure, and although it smelled wonderful, it was a trifle strong -- so I gave him a bath.

Lakey, I just want to add a viewpoint, that what you are doing here with "leading" or facilitating this thread is like auditing. BY that I mean that you and others are getting case gain and blowing charge from doing it, from being present and in comm with each other. Isn't that good? This is what I meant when I said that I could clearly see that you were still growing and evolving, and not to quit writing about your experiences and insights.

And you didn't even need a certificate.:)

Lovely!

In my humble estimation, it takes the third dynamic to run out its third dynamic case, as, per the above post, you are accomplishing here. In order to do this successfully, the integrity needs to exist enough to clearly view the case and see it as it is. Of course, reality may appear different from each viewpoint, which is why you need all points of view on the third dynamic group to run the stuff out.

This is why the C of Scn in its present unethical state [condition of existence] is obviously unable to as is anything. As a third dynamic group, it is very busy creating complexities, not ising its case, blaming it on everyone else, following a firm policy of disconnection [do you realize how far down on the awareness scale that is?] as a means to 'handle' uncomfortable situations, rather than seeing something as it really is and helping resolve conflicts. Instead, its products are conflict and lies, with the right hand unable to see what the left hand is doing nor taking any responsibility for what goes on beyond the public view.

Any comment is welcome.:coolwink:

The abberation of the dynamics comes about as a result of crashing misunderstoods by staff and public and a venemous perversion of the dynamics lineup by the controlling cult leaders.

The most important dynamic is the FIRST dynamic. If there is no first dynamic all the rest simply cannot exist.

The first dynamic is the building block for the second dynamic. This is why the family group are so important. (For the PC nazis, I will say "partners" co-existing). The cohesion of family and partners become the building blocks for the third dynamic. Without solid second dynamic blocks, the third dynamic would not exist.

And so it spreads out, like ripples on a pond. The fourth dynamic is the EP of this cycle. Those other 4 dynamice Hubbard went on about run ancillary to the first four and interweave with them.

I hope this clears up any misunderstoods that have been implanted into the cult membership and public.

Of course, if you want to understand about the different UNIVERSES, then read Alan's book GODS IN DISGUISE.

Purple Haze, may I use just "Purple" in the future as I do when addressing Blue Spirit as "Blue"? I have a comment to make and that is that your post is brilliant. It is similar to a musical piece by Mozart, not "too many notes(words) " but just the correct number of words as is required, neither more nor less. The message it delivers is profoundly stated and is true to such an extent that even though some of the content is unpeasant, the overall thrust of the post is beautiful and uplifting.

Your first paragraph, especially the line, "it takes a third dynamic to run out its third dynamic case" is a summary of what I was trying to say about the value of an open panel discussion in producing case gain. You say it better, more poetically and more to the point. Your second paragraph is a perfect description of what is going on in Scientology in it present unethical state.

I think our mission here on ESMB is to simply change the one word "present" to the word "past" or "former". If we could achieve that, then the remaining lines of your second paragraph would change right before our eyes to something more pro survival, similar to scenes from the movie, "Back to the Future".

Purple, I heard you were a top auditor but I was unprepared to find out that you were as equally adept at prose as you are in tech. You do not happen to also write music do you?

Dart, thank you so much for your brilliant post!! As per what Purple Haze pointed out so eloquently above, it takes a third dynamic for the third dynamic to run out its case. This post of yours just ran out some of mine. Thank you very much for your clear and succinct expression of a fairly difficult concept to explain.

A "little birdie" told me that an earlier comment I made to you was not tactful nor up to Lakey standards. It was something to the effect that I read 12 pages of your well read story, got the gist of it and stopped reading. That was a stupid thing to say to you and I am going to read the entire story to find out more about you and where you are coming from. I want to read your story in its entirety because I know I will be enriched by doing so and I will do so post haste.

Gettting back to your post above, it is very difficult for me to duplicate that C of S and Sea Org upper management just totally trash the second dynamic. They are trying to hammer it out of existing for the supposed reason that it interferes with production and stats. This is so intrinsically wrong that I cannot believe that Sea Org management can actually buy into it. The whole concept is completely psychotic and anyone who seriously believes that squelching of the 2nd dynamic is ethical and productive is certifiably insane! If someone believes in this policy he is nuts, one for one with no exceptions. It is that simple.

Friendly Comm explaining the shorthand

Just a brief expository note for those who may be unfamiliar with Scientology terminology employed here:

1D= First Dynamic...you, your self. As in, if you don't take good care of your self, first, you can't take good care of anyone else... OR If you don't love yourself, you're not really capable of loving someone else...OR In the case of an in-flight emergency, when the oxygen mask drops down from the console above you, place the mask firmly over your own nose and mouth first, and then assist the passengers around you...

2D= Second Dynamic...the happy fulfillment of your natural sex drive, you and your romantic partner, and your family circle, your love life, usually a marriage with children, but including all variations (thanks, Dart, for being inclusive!:)) Rehashed and extrapolated as to also mean creative ability or the drive and urge to reproduce or create in any format.

3D= Third Dynamic...your group. Could be any group you are a part of, contribute to or function in. As referred to on this thread, alternatively, members or management of Corporate Scientology, The Sea Org, Ex's and Critics, or the posters and readers of this thread. (It is quite usual to belong to or identify with multiple groups)

4D= The physical world in which we operate, our environment, and more esoterically, the physical circumstances or surroundings we find ourselves in, or we co-create around us and with our 2D and 3D.

There are more, which ripple outward, in the Scientology cosmology, from the self as the center of consciousness, of your own personal universes, etc. Do your own research, and do read Alan's Books! :)

Nancy Many's Party

I car pooled with Sweet last night, meeting her for the first time, and drove perhaps 40 miles to Nancy and Chris Many's house. We were late due to Sweet hitting heavy traffic on the Riverside to Orange County leg of her trip and we missed an appearance my Mark Headley who showed up briefly and left early to attend another party near by.

There were about 36 people in attendance. Tory Christman was there with a date. Sweet had a long talk with Tory but I did not talk with her, not by intention, just our paths never crossed. I reconnected with Chris Many the Division 1, HCO Secretary the whole time I was at CCLA and I dazzled him with my memory singing some Paul Shapiro songs and Dick Glass, the Eloquent Elephant's trademark song, "Beautiful Day, Beautiful People." I pretty much know the lyrics and melody of that whole song. He used to play back up piano for a lot of the performances and once knew the songs well. To hear the melody and lyrics again after 37 years just blew his socks off. I dazzled him with some trivia, maiden names of some of the female staff members and some obscure names from mimeo or central files and stuff like that. I then bought Nancy's book and Sweet bought 2 copies and some other fellow bought 3 copies.

I then met Blue Spirit in the flesh after several PM's and phone calls. Blue is quite a dapper gentleman, looking thin, fit and sporty in some sharp attire and along with his silver head of hair (like mine) he makes a cool impression. You've heard of a guy marrying sort of "above his pay grade". well as dapper and classy as Blue looks, he hit the jackpot on selecting his wife. What a fantastic wife he has!! The woman is tall and striking in appearance and is one of those people who is totally unpretentious and totally in valence, just being her self. What you see is what you get. I try and achieve this type of personna myself but I think she is doing better at it than me. If I had met her at CCLA, she would be on at least two categories of my best of the best list, Kindest Persons and Best Staff Members. I talked to her for a half hour straight while Blue and Sweet, meeting in the flesh for the first time, talked amongst themselves right next to us. There was a girl, Regina who looked familiar and her Brother, who said he knew me from somewhere which I also thought was true but we could not establish where we had met. That is about it for the pople I knew. You know how it is, some of the faces I had seen in Orgs 35 years ago just in passing but did not really know them.

The house requires some comments. The home is a 4500 sq ft 2 story New England type of home which is very spectacular and there are large landscaped grounds, the property probably covers 1/2 to 3/4 acre, and in the rear is a music studio of professional level quality where Chris's Son reigns supreme. Top off the setting with two thoroughbred yelowish Siberian type Snow dogs and the whole estate is quite impressive to say the least.

I would recommend that everyone who posts here purchases Nancy's book. She sells them their for $16 including tax. I've now got some very interesting reading ahead of me, Nancy's book and Dart's 132 page story. To reach Nancy, she can be PMed under the name appledore2 here on ESMB.Lakey

Well Lakey, I do sometimes forget that I did hit the jackpot with my wife.

She is most special and no one else would have stuck with me through so

many tough times. It reminds me of how Chris did a similar thing for Nancy, as

you'll see when reading the book.

My wife was recently validated as a Natural Clear from a very reliable source.

It didn't surprise me at all. That would NOT have happened in the CO$.

What a great holiday gathering!

What a lovely home, and a lovely group of people. Talk about a Theta atmosphere! I think there were more than 40+ attending, we just were late enough to miss some of the early departers.

A dream home, one richly deserved and well earned. The house was beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous Christmas tree and some fun trick three-d kinds of glasses that you could look at the lights through, which made them seem like stars, snowflakes, and with invisible halos saying noel or happy holidays, fun toys! Great artwork and comfortable, classy furnature combined with homey touches of hand needlepointed stockings for each family member lineing the mantlepiece and family photos made for a wonderfully warm, comfortable holiday-spirit filled environment. It was just a joy to be there.

Nancy and Chris extended very warm and loving but relaxed hospitality which made me feel right at home with them. We got to meet their son Taylor, too, who contributed his zest to the party.

Two dear doggies, one white, one blonde, were patrolling the back yard and inspecting and passing all who ventured out to the state of the art studio and office space.

Very good fun to get to meet some of my fellow ESMBers in person. None disappointed!

The array of food was delicious, a wonderful variety of tempting goodies, (I want to personally thank whoever brought the shrimp and those yummy little pastries!) :happydance: and there was an ample and generously stocked open bar.

Conversation was free-flowing, with a warmth and cameraderie that many of you will recall from your more postive Org or Mission days. It was really great to get to meet some virtual friends in person, and to meet new people, too!

And at least one person recognized me from the past! The ack felt great, as Lordy, that was a long time ago, and I would like to think that I haven't outwardly changed all that much! (Conquering MEST daily! :D)

Carols were sung to talented live piano accompianment, good fellowship and conversations, and an all around real fun time. One thing is for certain, Ex's, Freezoners, Independants and Critics will NEVER run out of things to talk about with one another! All together a very bright, warm, fun, up-tone group of people enjoying the holiday spirit together. :happydance:

I got to hug almost everybody there! :D Everyone felt and seemed familiar to me, even those I know I have not met before (in this lifetime, at least!:p). Felt like old friends you haven't seen for some time. Lovely warm fuzzy feeling!

The highlight of the evening was a playfully raucus and hilarious energetic "Yankee Swap" gift exchange that went into three rounds, with much mirthful "stealing" of gifts back and forth. Who knew crockpots were such a hot item? :confused2: (Santa, take note!) :)

I briefly owned a beautiful and exquisitely detailed porcelain figurine of a lovely woman strumming a lute like instument with her elegant, long fingers, representing a Chinese demi-goddess "muse" of music, that someone brought back from Singapore, but sadly, she flew away fairly quickly into someone else's loving arms...:bigcry:!!!

But I did end up with an great replica of an old-fashioned stove top popcorn popper, the kind like a big kettle with a handle and spinner inside that you turn on top of the lid, that will work perfectly on my old-fashioned cast iron wood stove out in my art studio, so even though it was not my preference, all's right with the world. One thing I have learned about life, the things we need do come to us, one way or another, if we are open to receiving them. I guess the Universe decided I needed a popcorn popper! Maybe, for future fun gatherings at my home? I think the Universe is giving me a big old hint, here! :coolwink:

Thanks so much to the lovely Many family for their very able, gifted, relaxed hosting. A very good time was had by all!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, everybody! :happydance: And a Happy New Year!

Much Love from Sweetness!

Men and Women are Different

Thanks Sweet for the fantastic description of the party last night! For those people who have learned in Universities that men and women are identical in all ways but their reproductive organs, I would like you to read Sweet's and my description of the same party. No one could possibly guess that we attended the same party.

My descrition was more of statisctical essay, counting and measuring things. If it was represented on paper it would be an archtectural drawing with dimensions and specifications attached.

Sweet saw things from a feminine viewpoint that either totally escaped my perception or which I just viewed as background. There was a tremendous amount of preparation and aesthetic touches which I saw through my eyes but did not really see as to requiring a lot of effort to create or as creating the space. Sweet's paper representation would be a magnificent, fine oil painting made by one of the Masters such as Monet with new discoveries popping out from the canvas the more one looked.

You can't tell me the mind of Man and Woman are exactly the same. Of course there are individual differences and some men may have more of a feminine point of view than others and vice versa for women. Still our two views illustrate very markedly how men and women can see things differently.

COGNITION OR EPIPHANY - Notice that even though totally different, the two descriptions of what took place do not counterdict each other! In fact they COMPLIMENT each other and when overlaid, an enriched and fuller picture is obtained.

THIS IS THE WAY THINGS WERE DESIGNED AND WE ARE THE DESIGNERS AND HAVE AGREED UPON THIS AS A GOOD MODEL TO BUILD A UNIVERSE WITH! Don't tell me a condensed ball of matter randomly blew up 17 billion years ago and the phenomena I just described occured randomly by chance. If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn which I can sell you at a huge discount. Oops, I forgot I'm amongst ex-Scientologists, we have already bought enough bridge for one lifetime.

unless you fly Lutheran Air

The above post was based on today's show of Garrison Keillor's show on NPR, "A Prairie Home Companion."

Wednesday is the annual "Boat Parade" in Chino Hlls. It starts around 6. It is small town funny, everybody tows their boats decorated in Christmas lights with Christmas music playing, inflatable palm trees, etc. It is a hoot. Definitely not pretentious.

Thank you for the party stories.

Brittany Murphy died.
I just saw it on the news. I can’t believe it

The Chino Hills Boat Parade? LOL! Bet they are mostly inland lake fishing bass type boats and jet-skis. Decorated and pulled on trailers, how creative for a small town celebration! What do you want to bet there are fish lights! (That look like trout, etc.) :D Sounds like the Doo-Dah Parade as opposed to the New Year's Rose Parade in Pasadena. I'll bet this is a parody of the most famous Newport Harbor Boat Parade (just Google it). Now that I've seen and even sailed in, many, many moons ago!

You know the best thing in the world besides owning your own sailboat? Having a very good friend who owns a sailboat, so you can crew and cruise whenever you want to, but can also drive away to a warm shower and leave the headaches and hassles behind you. :D This is experience talkin' here!

Poor Brittany Murphy, only 32. That's awfully young to be shuffling off this mortal coil. Massive cardiac arrest at the very young age of 32 usually means congenital heart problems, drug abuse, or severe eating disorder... whichever way, an unfortunate death anyway you look at it. She was pretty and had talent, condolences to her family, friends and fans.

Well, well, a long black 60's style hearse just drove past me. Timing is everything in art and life! Good thing I'm not askeerd of these things! Somebody's collectible car, going to a car show probably.

Yes, I got the reference to Garrison's radio show, have heard him use it before. Missed this weekend's show, maybe it was a replay?? Or he just likes to kid his Luthern background repeatedly in shows! :D Seriously, resembles the staunch Lutherns I have known who, bless them, seem to have "I am my Brother's Keeper" tattooed on their hearts. Serious socialization there to put other's wellbeing above their own, and to not be selfish, or even give the appearance of it. :) They make very good but slightly nosey neighbors. :)

So how was Disneyland, Carmelo? Do tell about the Light Parade and the twin's responses to it all... Many folks reading here have never been there to experience it, and might like to hear about it. Did the fireworks show go off without a hitch? (sometimes it's cancelled due to wind and weather conditions, etc.) Did Tinkerbelle fly? :happydance:

It is a conscious and deliberate send off of the Newport Boat Parade!

Mainly, it is really fun, as a spectator or participant.

She was a really nice girl. Genuine. and a talented actress. as a kid, she was in Devil's Arithmetic and was tremendous.

as an adult she was professional and all that and a bag of chips.

The tabloids kill you. You're too fat, you're too thin, you're anorexic, you're a pig, there is no happy medium.

You have to be thin to work. Getting that thin sometimes kills you.

Pretty much like pro ball or boxing. The successful actions are close to death's door.

Yes, actually this is my car.

dynamics, leaving sci, happiness and joy

From Carmello:

I think the reason that I and my family were so able to walk away from the Co$, long before it was in fashion, is that we understood that the individual is the foundation for the group.

The Co$ treated the 3D as senior to 1D. this is not the case.

I have been thinking lately about how my exit from scientology did not leave me with any doubts that it was the right thing to do, absolutely. Different from many here on the board, I didn't suffer any depression, confusion etc. I was totally jubilant, happy, joyful, FREE!:happydance::happydance:

Some reasons I've come up with are: My first and second D were always more important than the 3rd or 4th. I really had no concept of the possibility or even desire to 'clear the planet'. Yes, helping people was satisfying, but not numero uno in my universe. I did want my group of fellow SO members at Saint Hill to do well, be happy, healthy, achieving their goals, both personal and group. That was not happening on a tragic scale. I do at times feel that I must have been a selfish bitch to not have that altruistic impetus that so many of you had. Yet, it may have saved my bacon. ie, When I could see that my 1st and 2nd D were being severely oppressed, I got out. So, I was only in for 5 or 6 years, prob not long enough to get the whole brainwashing deal. Did get some, but even at its height, it did not entirely eradicate my native knowingness.:p

Another thought: Aaron has brought to our attention that love is seldom if ever mentioned in scientology. I could be wrong but I don't think happiness or joy feature large either. The Way to Happiness?? Is it really about what we experience when we are truly happy?:nervous:I don't know actually, cos I haven't read it for donkey's years.
