O.K.

More succinctly: I'd like to see any stable workable techs that can take one

up to usable spiritual operating abilities placed on this thread.

Examples of stably exterior with visual ability, perceiving thoughts of others,

moving physical objects if needed, having others respond to your intention,

knowingness used to help the dynamics, and whatever one considers is a

non-physical ability. These were formerly common place in Scientology but of course no longer are.

An example of what shouldn't be in there is "God did it".

Hope that helps answer your question. If not skip it.

Yes, this is clearer, Blue. Thank you. Let me think about what I can contribute to this. :)

Brian Weiss is the only one who does some kind of clearing. The big LbL and OBE movements don't have clearing tech. It is my dream to combine these movements with FZ SCN - each of them has what the other is missing!"

Blue Spirit wrote- "I an interjecting into this thread a subject mentioned above by Heidrun. Carmelo suggested I do so here. Lakey is OK on it.

That subject is TRUE Spiritual Operating Phenomena.

This means only PRACTICAL Workable occurences with ACTUAL results of a

Spiritual basis. NO theory is of interest unless it has lead to actual RESULTS.

WINS can be part of it and should be. I've had a few, even though not in the higher levels per se.

What we are going after here is how to obtain these SKILLS as you may have and others may have too.

Included should be the tech of Scientology (Original & later OT levels), Knowledgism, the subjects mentioned by Heidrun

above that obtain useful and Practical results, and any other subject meeting these requirements.

You pure scientific types need not apply if you would have to have physical

proofs of phenomena not basically part of the Spiritual Abilities.

I hasten to add that these abilities have often produced physical results, and I know of some personally who did it regularly.

The floor is open for discussion."

I think I understand what you are getting at Blue, but not sure if I can lay it out in A B C fashion. Seems like you are asking for the key secrets to manifesting in the Universe, step by step. What I've got is largely anecdotal stuff based on life experience, laced together with formal and informal training in other practices, so maybe I shouldn't even try and contribute to this. Also I am such a squirrel! However I would suggest that we invite Dully to join in as I know he is quite interested in the Bardos (between lives areas stuff) and has posted about Michael Newton's work elsewhere here, but not sure if he has gotten a good discussion out of anybody. Might be worth a try to invite him over.

Anecdotal experience is OK and hopefully would be tied to some tech, but

does not have to be. In the early Advance mags many are found.

If by "Squirrel" you mean anything outside of Scientology need not apply. Well, Fuck that.

What I'm looking for is a Practical discussion of results, not theory.

Am I making myself any clearer here, or should I detox my "brain" ?

Pierre

A personal friend of mine was totally fond of his delivery of the L's.

Last time I looked, Pierre was an LRH expert and specialist. If you are satisfied with LRH's cosmology and see LRH as the source of wisdom above everyone else (including yourself), you'll probably resonate well with him.

If on the other hand you see source in other authors as well, find that some things were not fully covered by LRH, and generally judge a process by its workability rather than the author's name (quoting Shakespeare: "What's in a name? A rose by any other name... "), Pierre might give you a hard time :)

I am not one who feels comfortable in a box. ANY box. Give me all the available boxes [of tools] and I'll use them all, as needed by my specific PC at a specific moment in a specific session. To me, the PC has priority, not the author of the tool.
.

From what I understand that is an excellent description of Pierre.

A Very Refreshing Concept

How about the more exotic things like adoration, the urge to create ecstasy for the person most loved in the universe, treasuring each other beyond anything else? Is that still in the picture?
.

Well, THAT is certainly a very refreshing description of sex that agrees with

my own concept. Thank you for the aesthetic viewpoint.:happydance::)

Unfortunately..........

Heh :)

It is also breaking LRH policy. Somewhere in the management series, I think in the ESTO series, there is a policy saying that people whose dynamics are misaligned, are no longer able to LOOK.

Hence the glassy eyed robotic state that made so many people accept the organizational insanities for such a long time. Now we can discuss whether this was done on purpose or was just a fatal by-product of wrongly set priorities...

13 years past in my time on ARS, I made it a sport to point at the exact LRH policy break for every single complaint about the church that the critics had. I still can do it. The sane reference is always there.
.

LRH references are not too popular here. :bigcry:

Misunderstanding

ON THE TOPIC OF TOO MANY WORDS.

Blue Spirit told me that I had written that to qualify as a Big Being, one had to be able to state things succinctly. I can't believe I said that.

Lakey

I don't recall saying that you said that. I might have, though.

O.K., Good!

Geeze, quoteing myself here-I really AM in love with my own words! :p How totally embarrassing!

"O.K. I get it that it is better not to use Big Being as a lable, because of the way that Corporate Scientology utilizes it to enforce a "power over, power down" system. (Those at the top of the system have all the power in the system, and those at the bottom have very little or none.) We are all "Big" in the sense that we are all capable of achieving much more than we limit ourselves by thinking we can at any given moment, and that we are all Spiritual Beings, etc."

All I meant by that is that some Ex's might find just the use of this term Big Being re-stimulative due to: the way that Corporate Scientology utilizes it to enforce a "power over, power down" system. "(Those at the top of the system have all the power in the system, and those at the bottom have very little or none.)". That's all. I know you are not political in the sense that you are not working for reform or change in Corporate Scientology, but many of us here are, and care about effecting change of this top-down system passionately!

Thanks for your responses that largely cleared this up for me. We are still hugely in agreement here. :runaround:

Lakey said "I don't quite get the gist of this part":

"For Dart- one of the axioms in my dojo was: "Always leave your partner with a positive feeling", so no matter how much you had wrecked them in practice, (hopefully not much), you had to use healing arts, good comm, respect (after wiping the floor with them), affinity flows, etc, to put them back into good shape before either of you left the mat. (And if you had hurt them, you had to buy them a meal, and if you had injured them, you were tossed off the mat, suspended from training until you got right with the world and could control your actions). That same concept tends to spill over into my writing style too. It's too easy to hurt people and cause MU's by being short and abrupt. [For the rest of you, Dart and I have something in common, we both trained in Aikido (the most Spiritual Japanese martial art form that's a lot like dancing) that followed the practices and teaching of one particular Sensei who included Ki (universal energy) training.]"

The bolded part above tends to make me wordier than I might be usually, because I want to be sure I am communicating clearly and not giving unintended offense to a reader, leaving my comm partner with a positive feeling, even if I have stated some painful truth or something difficult to "look" at. (I mostly included that example as a shout out to Dart, who I know gets it!) :happydance:

Thanks for clarifying who you want to attract and have participate on this thread!

O.k., no dumbing down, but I reserve the right to translate now and then, as many readers will just leave rather than break into a conversation and ask, "'scuze me, what's that mean?" Nobody likes to appear ignorant. A LOT of our readers and lurkers are Non's. (Non-Scientologists, never been in the COS). I've gotta represent for my group! :D

Lakey, as I said, you are the Mac Daddy of this thread, as such you set and maintain the overall tone, and I don't have a problem with complying with anything that you said, I just needed to ask about it. :)

Clarity is good!

Just want to share a quick cog of my own, many of the short posters learned a very snappy style (sometimes snappy and brutal, but sometimes snappy acks) of written comm while serving on their Corporate Scientology staff or SO posts. I've learned of this from emails by those still in, before I began lurking here. So that style tends to show up a bit here, too. Not complete sentences or thoughts always, etc. Maximum efficiency, as if that is the be all and end all value of skill with words, which I guess to Corporate Scientology, it is. :puke:

The biggest Joke of all of this consideration about wordiness is that Ron was a totally overblown verbose writer! I think he learned it when he was being paid a penny a word as a pulp fiction writer in his youth, and never really lost the style. The re-editing that I have seen that's been done on his earlier works tends to slim them down quite a bit.

Yes, you are making this clearer, Blue, thank you. Yes, then I think I can contribute something to a practical discussion of results, and can try and tie it in to my squirreled understanding of "squirrel" tech. (I'm trying to take the charge off that word, for those who have any:coolwink:) Seems like Heidrun and Purple Haze and I are all all united in our freely thinking outside the box style and willingness to look and to use whatever methodology works best under any given circumstances.

We'll let Lakey post about his new cog and then somebody can start if off. :)

Alternating between Clean Slate and Spieper, each to a win or flat point then alternate, works pretty good if you are in to that kind of "processing" thing.

When I look for misplaced items, I like to imagine myself as a high-flying eagle looking for a rabbit-meal. It really sharpens the focus.

When I step outside I sometimes like to imagine using a lion's or tiger's mind. A whole new portion of the environment refreshes the senses.

Horses are kind of dumb: eat, sex, watch out for predators. Carmelo might disagree. She has a better line of communication into those creatures than I.

I can move physical objects with intention alone. The way it works is like this: Someone will eventually come along and use their body or machinery to do the moving. The shorter the comm lag the less aberrated the intent. :coolwink:

About reading minds: I have spent a long, long time turning off the noise that all you crazy beings generate. If I am going to access another's thoughts there had better be a damn good reason.

I've got one for you Blue, which I just got hatted on yesterday. Check the weather reports in Australia, if unusual conditions abound and storms are extremely heavy, fly down there and go body surfing on a Sourthen beach - no fins or extra equipment is allowed. You will get into trouble out in the ocean and at about the time when you feel you may drop your body, if you make the decision that you are going to survive this ordeal, you will turn on full perception and other OT abilities which will enable you to survive.

I mean this tongue in cheek but it would most likely work if you did it. It is tongue in cheek humor with a lot of truth mixed in but there is a moral to the story as follows: WHEN YOUR SURVIVAL IS THREATENED OR THAT OF A LOVED ONE, THE OT ABILITIES WHICH YOU ARE SEEKING ARE MOST LIKELY TO TURN ON. I remember in the early 50's when I was in grammar school, there was a story circulating about a 122 pound woman whose little boy was playing near a car which was up on jacks. The little boy went under the car and a jack got kicked out of place and the car dropped down on the boy and the Mom hysterically ran over to the car and lifted the rear of the car up so that her kid could crawl to safety. She did something that a man twice her size who worked out with weights could not do under normal circumstances. It was attributed to adrenalin but that was just part of it, it was her intention which gave her the superhuman strength to move that car. Necessity Level, Necessity Level, Necessity Level.
Though this is not what you were looking for, I hope it was helpful.

Lakey said--"I say that on a Lakey run thread we do not tone down our communication so as to appeal to the newbies who do not know what we are talking about. We can put parentheses and define the terms briefly inside them or put foot notes, No toning down of content to the lowest common denominator. If a person is interested enough and of good character they will ask for clarification and we will courteously supply it THIS IS AN ELITE THREAD FEATURING SOME OF THE FINEST THINKERS AND DOERS ON ANY BOARD AND WE DO NOT DUMB DOWN CONTENT.

Dang, look at that, Lakey's shouting! :grouch: O.K. you guys, no dumbing down nuttin'! :D We is on an elite thread here, so tuck in yer shirts! :D *Gives Lakey a snappy salute* :nervous:

Blue, one thing I can think of to share is just stillness. The ability to really just momentarily lay aside all your thoughts and feelings and physical impressions and open your intuitive senseing. When I get an impression or impulse, sometimes it's a picture, (or sense a ripple in the force :p) I just get real still for a moment (split second, really), and reach out mentally to contact or get a sense of who and what it's coming from, even in the middle of busy activity. I guess it's like an alert listening or senseing for, o.k., what is it I need to know? I think the ability to be still, to quiet all the backgroud chatter of a busy life or day, at a moment's notice is very useful.

If it's something potentially upsetting, I also center myself, anchor or ground my energy (again, in a split second, effortless activity).

Usually it's not anything negative, like a warning, it's just more like advice or a reminder of something, or useful information.

Sometimes it's as simple as a message to look in a particular direction, and I will see something I need or someone I know coming toward me, (or someone I need to know for some good reason) etc. Sometimes it's just a really beautiful view, that if I didn't look up in that direction at just that time, I would have missed entirely. I seem to get mostly beneficial results.

Carmelo, can you post a picture of said Big little doggie? :) We got kittys on the thread, but no doggums yet.

The Epiphamy I had earlier!

I got sidetracked. My Daughter showed up and she, my Son and I had lunch and watched an old classic Hitchcock movie.

The Epihphamy had to do with something I realized when I was writing the answer to Sweet's earlier long critique. While finishing talking about Roger and starting to talk about Purple Haze I saw something which I had looked at before but this time I looked deeper, much deeper and saw things which were too hard for me to confront before but are now within by reach. Here it is:

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TALKING OR WRITING ABOUT SOMETHING AND DOING SOMETHING

Purple Haze was right there with Yvonne auditing celebrities on day one of CC's opening. She was Co Founder of a whole new class of Orgs, the Celebrity Centre Network. When I met her, she was auditing Karen Black, I was washing dishes in the Galley and served tea to her. Yea people say, but you are a smart guy and you wanted to serve but you were thrown off your course and you fought to stay and went into Treasury ya di dah, ya di dah. The fact is that this woman co founded an Org and was a premiere Celebrity Auditor while the biggest thing I could do was write a check which I could not even sign myself. There is a lot of background noise that could be added but it is just that, NOISE. LRH had this Policy called Look Don't Listen. What are one's stats? You can't compare training to Class VIII and gaining a reputation as a top flight auditor with writing checks and taking them over to be signed by Yvonne and doing some admin. I mean it is two different pay grades, two different Universes. Decades later, I receive a PM from her helping me to complete the story I am writing about CC. No questions asked, no exchange asked, she just freely enabled me to complete my story for a common good and she is happy to help me out and to get to know me.

I had this personna of being one of the competent but rank and file guys down in the basement, adding stability to an organization as back up to the bosses. My whole story had to do with getting my ass kicked around at CCLA and still doing okay there and then really getting my ass kicked around at the Apollo. I know that the working conditions were bad, I was not given a fair chance and that management went very sour. Still, those are just justifications. When I really apply Look and not Listen, I do not like what I see. I see myself as just a shade better than mediocrity. It makes me sick. I always knew I had the talents to play in the Major Leagues and to even star in the Majors but Look, Don't Listen, shows that until I started this thread, I was playing in the Minor leagues way below my potential. Finally, I took the plunge and did something actually on my purpose line and excelled at it and pur it on the public record that Yvonne, ably assisted by Purple Haze, founded CC Int when they co opened CC of L.A.. I was willing to stick my neck out on the line and debunk DM's assertions that he was one of the impetus's in starting CCLA as stated in the 35 year Magazine of 2005. I've wasted so much time being just a shade over mediocrity when I have so much potential ability to be somebody important. Believe me that is not easy or pleasant to confront. It is a huge overt act to have potential and either be too shy to apply it or just get stopped when you try to apply it. And guess what. there is no one to blame but yourself. When all is said and done and the last two bit justification is said, it boils down to the fact that you are fully and totally responsible for the condition you are in - 100% no exceptions.

Thanks to Carmelo, who spotted something in me that was interesting and tolerable, he caused many Influential beings to come over to this site and I am hosting it and a lot of my personality is present on this thread and I am doing just fine, better than fine.

MY WIN
MY WIN IS THAT I FOUND OUT THAT I CAN PLAY IN THE BIG LEAGUES, I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE COMPETITIVE THERE AND CAN EVEN BE A STAR THERE. This is where I belong and I am going to fight to keep myself here.
.
To make this not totally about me, I would encourage anyone who has some special talents but is on the shy and modest side to read what I have just said and go for it yourself. Whether you play in the minor leagues or the major leagues there are stresses and problems to overcome. The wins in the major leagues and the feeling of achievment are much greater and you are in a position to influence and help more people. So if you feel this applies to you then get out of any rut you might be in and stick you head up into the rarified air of palying a bigger game in the league with the top players. Join me basking in major league air. Come aboard, the weather is fine!

You said: "Thanks to Carmelo, who spotted something in me that was interesting and tolerable, he caused many Influential beings to come over to this site and I am hosting it and a lot of my personality is present on this thread and I am doing just fine, better than fine."
Au Contraire Pal, YOU started the thread and told YOUR story in an amusing way that got lots of looks and followers. YOU attracted Carmelo to it, and Carmelo may have encouraged you, or encouraged others to come and take a look see, too, (that is what friends do) but they came and stayed because of YOU. YOU are at cause here, celebrate that! :happydance:

All the rest of us are at cause over our own lives, too, and helping to co-create this thread. It's a win for us, too.

Sounds like you had a good cog, and a win?

Purple Haze is very kind to help you fill in the gaps, nice people are helpful. You have nice friends Lakey, that's something to celebrate, but that says as much about you as it does about them! :)

I learned it as "Look, Don't Think", but the same general concept applies.

Can I please clear this up, I was NOT critiquing what you wrote, just commenting and seeking more clarity. I'm an academic and I can hardly help myself from going into teacher mode at times- if I have offended, I'm sorry! :bigcry: No critical thought was implied. :)

Lakey, you are just as Big a Being as anybody else here. :D I'm amazed you didn't know this about yourself!

Good for you! Now, go ahead and make yourself bigger! :happydance: Be the star of the show that is your own life!

Lakey

I have to disagree with you Lakey, regarding your comments here about the difference in our jobs at Celebrity Center in the old days... I for one, was always in session. I rarely saw anyone outside the room I worked in, but I do remember you well, once the Center had expanded in size.

The staff who held a point of view, no matter how large or small, who had a presence about them that was obviously fully in the present, 'stood out' in my perception whenever I did walk through the public spaces. It was more of a shinning, glowing, glimmering, and Lakey, you shone. Some were tarnished and some were downright dark and gloomy, but the dedication and intention to contribute as best one could to the group endeavor surpassed the mediocrity of any job.

Every person was important, especially Yvonne who flowed affinity from the top to the bottom of her organization. Talk about trickle down theta [life force]. If I wasn't on a time factor for beginning my own game, I would have gladly stayed on forever at CCLA. I may still be there as some still are, so fully committed and focused they have not looked outside in years and years; outside the facade of what I now call the 'Bubble'.

Sure there were 'hard' times. Misunderstandings and downright sabotage of which Yvonne was also susceptible to; hey, we all were. I'll never forget earlier, when she did take over the running of the AOLA for a time for Captain Bill to go do some missions, she opened the Advanced Organization to 24/7 hours. Everyone on staff was able to get someone to cover a shift for their job, so they could sleep. Mine was the only post no one else had the training or qualifications to cover. That meant I took 5 minute cat naps between sessions, with no relief in sight. I remember someone bringing some food to my door now and then. I never left the apartment I audited in. Quite the challenge to take a shower, eat, or sleep in the 5 minute intervals, and be bright eyed and bushy-tailed for the next client.

Mind you, I'm far from complaining, then or now. I just took it as a challenge and accomplished miracles with what was required of me. I dealt with the cards I was given and it's made me a far better person for it, since I haven't been killed by it yet. :p I just never considered I couldn't do it, even if I didn't agree with the specific obligation, I knew I could get through it, with help from my friends and mates [Australian meaning].

Because I had been on the ship with Ron and Alan, etc, and, through a series of phenomenal events, I realized it was time to evolve out the top of the Hubbard game plan and begin my own game, and, with Ron's generous acknowledgment to that effect, proceeded in that direction, so, only those of the caliber of Hanna and Yvonne could have waylaid me and only for a time.

In 1973 I did make it 'out' into uncharted waters and ever since, have missed the camaraderie and warmth that a synchronized group affords. Sure, within the group you had your tough moments and trials as mentioned, but, because these were created by counter-intentions of differing viewpoints, they were easily spot and persevered through.

In the 37 years since, I'd say I empathize with Hubbard's statement I found somewhere early on [paraphrased]: the hardest thing to do when you're the boss and there's no one over you, is providing the ethics presence to keep yourself in line, keep your own ethics in. I know someone will have a great quote to place here. So, thanks for that in advance.

I've spent nearly 2 weeks with my 2 year old grandson and in two days time will re-enter my own orbit. It's been a lovely time being 2 again!

For now, that's about it, folks.

Cheerio!:coolwink:

This class act " dumb Blonde" is still available for consultations
I believe. :)

5 minute naps...no fun!

I do wish you would stop calling her a "dumb blonde" Terril, when she is really a blonde angel! (Now redhead!) :innocent:

I can vouch for it, Lakey still shines! :happydance:

Purple, how wonderful that you got such a nice long vacation with your grandson and got to be with him for Christmas! :baby1:

Thanks for telling us your point of view of what your postion was like, and the challenges you faced. I really like hearing all this history, because getting all the different viewpoints makes the picture more well rounded and complete. I'm glad you have good memories of your service at CCLA.

I am concerned for those long-timers who haven't looked outside the bubble. (I call it the cocoon.) I don't feel confident that their group is going to provide for them if their productivity comes to an end.

Incredible!

I have to disagree with you Lakey, regarding your comments here about the difference in our jobs at Celebrity Center in the old days... I for one, was always in session. I rarely saw anyone outside the room I worked in, but I do remember you well, once the Center had expanded in size.

Really?

The staff who held a point of view, no matter how large or small, who had a presence about them that was obviously fully in the present, 'stood out' in my perception whenever I did walk through the public spaces. It was more of a shinning, glowing, glimmering, and Lakey, you shone. Some were tarnished and some were downright dark and gloomy, but the dedication and intention to contribute as best one could to the group endeavor surpassed the mediocrity of any job.

I shone? I was happy to be there, making friends and being co workers with a lot of really fine people. Just like I am hosting this thread. Like Chris Many and I blurted our simultaneouly just a couple day ago, "Those were the days!"

You, Kathy Garcia and Pam Lancaster, now there is a trio of stars!

You founder guys endured so much for those of us who came right after you. We were walking on the backs of Giants.

Aye, mate I understand!

I can't believe that Ron so graciously let you go to play your own game. That is so unlike his traditional behavior. I will have to find out more about that privately unless you would post that for us..

We missed having you in our group all those years, I can assure you of that.

You've done a damn good job of it, or at least it appears so to me. Ron's sure entitled to have some shortcomings, that's only fair for anyone living a life as a human being I am dredging my memory banks for a great quote and I know at least one exists but haven't found it yet. Isn't there an old one from elementary school days. Don't make your bed unless you can sleep in .

It that your Mel Blanc impersonation?

Cheerio!:coolwink:

Purple Haze - You are a Class act! Like Yvonne, when you give a compliment, the receipient walks on clouds for at least a week.

In defense of my post, I agree that each staff post was important, the big ones and the small ones. I believe in that principle and share with you the idea that each of the people doing those posts are contributing and pulling their own weight and must be validated.

I was not lazy but I was shy and modest. My cognition was that I was quite a bit above average in ability but performed only slightly above average and therefore I was an underachiever. I could have done more and was not able to make it happen for whatever reasons. I guess I needed a Carmelo to come along, recognize that I had potential and connect me up to the right people. I was never able to pull this in until about a month ago.

I did all right, I co-raised two fabulous kids, ran a business for over 30 years and a marriage for over 28 years and I contibuted a lot to Scientology and now to ex Scientology. Its good achievment but below what I could have done and now I am also saying SHOULD have done. I like being connected to movers and shakers and connected people and find it a lot more fun than playing it safe in the minor leagues. I feel more on purpose doing this than living my old life, except being around my kids. Do you think I am wrong?

For beings, who live forever, there are ups and downs in their games. You wanted to audit, if that is still true, there is nothing to stop you right now. There are many available ways to get trained, and get on with it.

What's most important for anyone is choosing their path, not working on someone else's game.

When it comes to baseball, for instance, the best players don't make the best coaches. The best players are "naturals." the players that played alongside, on the same teams, with the best players make the best coaches. They had to learn each little trick of the game to stay up with the naturals.

Tony LaRussa, is arguably the best manager ever. He was not a great player. Billy Beane is a great GM; he was not great player. Billy Martin was a so so player and a great manager.

Coaching is a close analogy to auditing. You are developing talent.

Necessity Level

A certain being told me recently that I better put my
