I don't attack Marty on his own turf but I will express my belief that there is much more he could do and isn't and to me that is suspect.

Mark Bunker seems to think Marty is responsible for lots of people leaving. The only way that could be is if Marty had communication lines into the church. Does he?

Minton was in a different era when outspoken critics were few.

It's a different game now. There are many critics now. To go after Marty like they went after Minton will draw much more unwanted attention to the church. There is a certain protection in numbers. That's why the church has memberships.

I would like to see the whole of Scientology gone. Who will decide what part is good and what is bad? There will be those who will say the ethics tech is good. So who is qualified to determine what should stay and what should go?

Marty is pro Scientology........ALL OF IT. I don't trust him at all. He would have to prove to me quite clearly that he is not up to something devious before I could credit him as "friend"

Scientology is Squirrel tech from everything in life so of course there is going to be some things that work sometimes and seem true enough to make believers, but overall it was created to make a profit and is crap, so hammer it out of existence as KSW suggest and Scientology would have undone itself and we can move on with living life without the scilon trap.

Amen and pass the ammunition!

I think Hubbard was a big mental case, but as a belief-systym it will not go away.

Communication lines into the church: Photograps of Slappy's inner sanctum should tell you that. Alsoo Ex of Heber Jentzch is on there and she is no small fish in scientology land. Jason Beghe the actor, Steve Hall (Thoughtfull).

On one hand, I appreciate what Mark was saying (Getting a "common ground"), and being a "good guy" and wishing all the best, but he should be reminded about an issue a lot like this in the founding of the USA and the slavery issue. A very big compromise on the black slavery issue was "swept away" in order to get that "common ground" in the fight for freedom and to unite the colonies that eventually was officially declared in 1776.

This parallel is something to consider.

Mark, I understand your kind intentions but I don't completely agree with you on this one.

Well, Mr.Rathbun is not out of 'lowers' with me.. That's his obvious agenda to salvage the Sinister Scam Cult of Scientology. - Not what's needed and wanted.. I'm not ok'ing his petition!

Harh.. I'm joking and talking shit of course. I don't apply Hubbards 'condition formulas'.

Allright.. Mr.Rathbun is 'on our side' (or my side) for the time being, in that he does get a lot of true blue scilons to move out from the communications blackout inside the cult.

These people would most certainly not listen to me.. As a curiosum, I've been contemplating to act like an L.Ron'er precisely to better 'talk' to such people.. I dropped the idea though, in favor of being just who I am.

But frankly.. Since 'salvaging' Scientology is what Mr.Rathbun wants, I'm being a wee bit apprehensive about him testifying in the Headley trial.. What does Mr.Rathbun want there? - To make sure that Scientology gets to keep their 'right' to not pay wages to their staff? - Or protect their 'right' to imprison people in the forced labour camps? - Or their 'right' to monitor and hinder the staff in communicating to anyone outside?

Anyway.. I'm not expecting too much. I'm not going to be surprized if Mr.Rathbun's testimony turns out to be a disappointment.

However... I'm not in any position to influence events. The fact that Marc Headley appears to trust Mr.Rathbun in this is significant. I do trust Marc Headley..

Yeah, too bad about Jason becoming a "revert". A really cool, ballsy guy who gloriously stood up for himself!

He escaped and made it all the way outside the prison walls!

And, then...why did he turn himself in and go back inside, again?

WILD GUESS: When he said he was "really majorly fucked up by Scientology" (on his video) he was telling the honest truth.

Come on JB, start tunneling again baby!

You did it once, you can do it again!

Want me to tunnel in half way and meet ya? I'll have flashlights, dry clothes, water and food and i know how get ya past the Indy Blow Drill guys staked out at the train stations.

Oh wait, Indies don't do that. They are actually staked out in your mind.

There does appear to be an effort, by "Independent Scientology" to "handle" (with "ARC," however not necessarily honest "ARC") certain persons.

Mark Bunker seems to have been a target, and Tory "Magoo" may also have been, as well as Jason B, and many others.

One need only take a look at the people regarded by Scientology as troublemakers, going back to the 1970s and the 1980s, to see that most of them, one way or another, have been "handled."

Sometimes these "handlings" are successful, other times not, other times they are only partially successful.

It's nothing new.

Been watching the same thing.

Within the last few days, for example, Rathbun sang wild praises about J.Swift's post on his blog, love-bombing him with a personal guarantee that he will definitely be buying Swift's book.

Then.....then he opens up the good-old-boy invite, saying he'd LOVE IT if J. Swift would come hang out with him (Rathbun) Jason Beghe and Marc Headley at some upscoming party or outing.

Et tu, Swifte? LOL

Jesus, how does Swift walk that tightrope and not drop a politically incorrect bombshell after a few beers when he says what he really thinks about Ron and his Bridge.

If he turns Swift into an Indy (like Beghe) I am going to go back in time and un-laugh at all his witty, acerbic posts that I have enjoyed over the past few years.

Still wondering...didn't Jason Beghe see those devastating videos on YouTube that shattered any slightest hope that Scientology works? (talking about whether he saw HIS OWN videos! LOL)

Marc Headley's not going to The Shack.

Jason Beghe's looking for a Clear, he won't find that with Marty.

Swifty's not signing on either, IMO.

Every indy on the planet isn´t Marty Wrathbunny, and the indies aren´t organised like the Co$, nor is every indy a blood sucking vampire.

Even with my strong dislike for the Wrathbunny I think it has to be said that a majority of the people considering themselves indies are at least out, talking to people and getting free of the cult.

Take it easy.

I never said "every Indy" was "a blood sucking vampire."

People have been leaving Scientology for a long time.

And Scientology has been "handling" people for a long time.

This pattern is continuing both inside and outside the CofS.

Just for a moment: Think like a Scientologist. Where are you on this scale?

OT
Pre-OT
Clear
Homo Novis
Hatted Scientologist
ARC broken Scientologist (or one with False Data, MUs, Overts/WHs, or is PTS)
Raw Meat

ARC broken (with Scientology) Wog (or one with False Data, MUs, Overts/WHs, or is PTS - re. Scientology)

Just a reminder... :)

Indies are free of the cult?

That's like saying there is honesty & transparency in the Indy Scientology movement?

lololololololololol

I will apologize to anyone who can get a written or videotaped answer from Marty Rathbun on this simple question:

WHAT IS THE EXACT END PHENOMENA OF EACH LEVEL OF THE INDY BRIDGE THAT YOU ARE PROMOTING, SELLING AND DELIVERING?

Sucker's bet if you think he will answer that.

I am not asking to agree with his belief-system. I dont agree with christians either.

Every belief that discards Darwin theory is doing Science a disservice. Only Tibetan monks under leadership of the Dalai lama are open to science.

I am just asking to see him as a human being. With a shitload of faults, I have them too, but the fact is he is now standing up to the church.

Comparing him to all that is evil is out of proportian. He is an easy target It has been over a year of price-shooting.

He is not the Anti-Christ, jeezzz

Thankyou for this video, it was great, very informative and the more that everyone gets out there and tells what is going on then changes can occurr, despite all the different opinions on this one & that one. We are all here to expose the crap that exists so a big well done to all who are speaking out.

You, like me, might be accused of being reasonable about indy scio. I worry about indy scn as much as I worry about that itching sensation on my big toe right now. If there ain't no abuse, who cares?

I do see him as a human being. If he walked into my office or home he would be gracefully treated.

I also see what he is promoting as a pernicious form of evil.

A man has goodness.

And a man can bring about goodness.

He uses his intelligence and efforts to attack the CoS and COB which is good.

He also uses his power to Keep Scientology Working.

I wouldn't let him or his representatives within a 100 miles of any friends or family that I loved.

I see what Scn does to people. I detest what it does to human beings. (Need examples?)

That does not make me inhuman or incompassionate.

Quite the opposite.

I am no longer fooled by the WORDS used by Scientologists to describe what they are doing.

They will use any words to gain your support, money or tolerance of what they are doing.

I don't need their words any more.

I can see what they are doing without any subtitles.
