In the words of Jon Anderson

Dex, I thought you might appreciate this. For years I wondered what the h*** "total mass retain" meant in the song "Close to the Edge" by Yes.

II. Total Mass Retain

My eyes convinced, eclipsed with the younger moon attained with love.
It changed as almost strained amidst clear manna from above.
I crucified my hate and held the word within my hand.
There's you, the time, the logic, or the reasons we don't understand.

Sad courage claimed the victims standing still for all to see,
As armoured movers took approach to overlook the sea.
There sense the cord, the license, or the reasons we understood will be.

Down at the edge, close by a river.
Close to the edge, round by the corner.
Close to the end, down by the corner.
Down at the edge, round by the river.

Sudden caution shouldn't take away the startled memory.
All in all, the journey takes you all the way.
As apart from any reality that you've ever seen and known.
Guessing problems only to deceive the mention,
Passing paths that climb halfway into the void.
As we cross from side to side, we hear the total mass retain.

Down at the edge, round by the corner.
Close to the end, down by a river.
Seasons will pass you by.
I get up, I get down.

I get it now. It's what OSA is doing.

Total Mass Retain.....lol

Enjoy your freedom.
Thanks for the pleasure moment, Div6, Yes has always been one of my favorite groups, and "Close to the Edge" on of their best albums:) I've seen them in concert a couple of times.
There is a Scn connection to the group, according to what I was told 30 years ago- Patrick Moraz, the greatest rock keyboardist (IMO), who played on Yes's "Relayer" and a live album or 2, was kicked out of Scn for continuing to smoke pot. Before replacing Rick Wakeman in Yes, he replaced Keith Emerson in a band called "The Nice". While Emerson formed Emerson Lake & Palmer (with Greg Lake from King Crimson and Carl Palmer from Atomic Rooster) and the band's name was changed to Refugee. Later, Moraz went on to play keyboards on a Moody Blues album or two.

I didn't know that Moraz was IN Scn, but he was given credit on a track on Diana Hubbard's "Lifetimes" album. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LifeTimes

Also, Patrick did a kick ass (imo) solo album (Story of I) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_of_I
that was based on a story. "The concept album is based around a romantic story of a massive tower in the middle of a jungle. The tower lures people from all over the world to go inside it. Inside the tower, people are able to experience their wildest desires and fantasies. The only rule is that the people inside the tower may not fall in love with each other. However two people inside do so and decide to escape since the tower acts also as a prison which inhabitants are slaves of their own desires."

I always got the vibe that this was about the scene at Flag, and perhaps the restrictions on Diana vis a vis her true feelings at the time.

Rock on.

Ordinary Human
To any and all involved in supporting, enforcing, in any way contributing to my ex-wife's efforts to persuade my son to distance himself from me:

Keep it up, assholes. You just keep it up.

Make my day.

And one more thing-You have all embarrassed yourselves (in your typical, predictable bumbling way) in having my son be told by his mother that I was "kicked out" of the CoS recently, when in truth he's been happy to know for many years, that I disassociated myself from the cult a long, long time ago. (Maybe you need to send more "chaplains" to ambush him for more captive conversations). AND, still no response to my demand to see my "SP Declare". Are you so afraid of what I might do to you that you can't summon the cujones to produce it and deliver it to me?

Bring it on, you sheep, bring it on.

Sincerely,
Dexter Gelfand

Time will work for you Dexter - the cult can't break the bond between you and your child. That bond will always be there and it will break the clutches of the cult. You will be seen by your child through loving eyes. Nature makes it so.

Strange, I would consider 'doing what they want to do, for their own pathetic and reprehensible reasons' to be a core principle of The Tech since Ron invented it.

Zinj

There's 2 core tech's Zinj.

There's the tech of *individual auditing* (abreaction therapy, tinkered with),
and there's the tech of *social dominating* (totalitarianism, as an applied philosophy (on spiritual steriods) so to speak).

Confusing the two is the stuff legends are made of (in certain privy circles).

Imagine living on an island. Which island has limited resources. Which island is surrounded by water, that is swamp. Say, swamp water (lol). About 1 mile off the shore of the island (your island) there is land. You can see it. And by the way the swamp water is only about 3 to 4 feet deep (at its depths). But it's full of crocodiles and alligators and snakes and stuff, and other unseemly dangerous things

The land you can see you can see is lush. Thus attractive at some level in some way.

Now imagine a man *appears* on your island (out of the clear blue sky). [work with me here lol, it's an imaginary story with an interesting punch line that requires a suspension of rationality to get there]

The man speaks. He tells you he's come from the lush land you see and he can build you a boat to take you there. For a very fair price. Which price is the future rights to the whole of your desolate island. Why not? you think, I've nothing to lose here. And thus you agree.

So he builds you a boat. And you get on it. And sure enough. It works. It floats. The friggen boat floats. You are happy. You are above the things below, and you know it. And you know it for certain. For absolute sure.

That is the tech of *individual auditing* (at its core).

The man speaks again. This time with the power of absolute veracity (via your experience of floating in his boat). He tells you *now* he can build you a motor to put on that boat that will wisk you away to the lush lands that you once merely dreamed of being able to reach. For a fair price.

This time however, the heart of the price is your willingness to keep a secret. A big secret. A very big secret indeed. Which secret he tells you is this:

"In order to fulfill your dreams of reaching the lush lands you must first help fulfill the whole worlds dreams of reaching the lush lands too. And heck, there are 10,000 other swamp islands in the general vicinity of your view (your neighbors). And if you'd rather be selfish and keep the lush lands all to yourself, that's ok, you decide."

And after a brief moment, you agree. To help the others be free, so you will be free. You're game.

The punch line being: The man never built the motor for your boat.

He never could. He simply could build boats that floats. And have you sell them to the world.

This is the tech of *social dominating* (at its core).

If you start picking and choosing from Hubbard's Tech as if it is a buffet line,

you are no longer practicing Scientology, you are an enemy of Scientology as defined by Hubbard.

He made it emphatically clear that his work is complete, absolute, non-negotiable, and not to be altered or compromised.

It is a totalitarian cult and treating it as anything else is disingenuous and misleading.

Unfortunately what is happening to Dex, is Scientology as defined by Hubbard,

Dex is considered an enemy of Scientology by Hubbard as thus his followers are forced to treat him as an enemy or forfeit their eternity.

Scientology was created to serve Hubbard and Hubbard alone, and no amount of jacking off in the Freezone is going to change that.

It's a very destructing cult, created by a very evil man.

Miscavige is now carrying out the evil just as Hubbard wanted it

Yes, I'm very familiar with "The Story of I", bought it when it was new, have it on CD, great stuff, and very unique. I've also got a DVD of Moraz performing at Princeton University, which is really great:)

you are no longer practicing Scientology, you are an enemy of Scientology as defined by Hubbard.

True enough. Yet I can see a connection between a floating needle and a floating boat and a boat without a motor to get to a promised destination. So to speak.
In other words (to cut to the chase), where you see scientology as a *movement* of hubbard phenomena I see scientology as *a word* for hubbard's delusional propoganda.

Big difference. Important distinction.

You wrote:

He made it emphatically clear that his work is complete, absolute, non-negotiable, and not to be altered or compromised.
.
To which I say: Great, tomorrow *I* shall write that 'the sun is actually blue' and that is not to be compromised or altered.

So what? I wrote that. Big deal. People have been writing shit for quite a while now. Lol Chuck!

The deeper issue I see is this:

Their is no cure for stupidity. Presently known
.

Take any 100 individuals into a room and introduce them to L. Ron Hubbard. Circa 1955 or 2010. A certain portion of that room will leave. The rest will stay. A predispostion for accepting stupidity as intelligence is a fundamental and inherent human right. And what good is a right if not excerised?

You penned:

It is a totalitarian cult and treating it as anything else i disingenuous and misleading.

To which I respond: True (caveat emptor).

You said:

Unfortunately what is happening to Dex, is Scientology as defined by Hubbard,

Here then is the crux of the matter. As you go on to say:

Dex is considered an enemy of Scientology by Hubbard as thus his followers are forced to treat him as an enemy or forfeit their eternity.

To which I reply:

Hubbard is dead and his followers aren't forced to do shit. They are choosing to do what ignorance of truth demands they do (where emotion trumps a fuller understanding). For them. At this time. In their lives.

Wrong target.

Which I'll explain courtesy of the next quote (in rebuttal).

Scientology was created to serve Hubbard and Hubbard alone, and no amount of jacking off in the Freezone is going to change that.

Scientology was created to serve the manifestation of gullibility, or stupidity, or ignorance, or lust for power, or glory, or anger, or evil, but it was not created to serve L. Ron Hubbard. Hubbard was a spiritual pawn.

It's a very destructing cult, created by a very evil man.

It's a very destructive cult created by something in ourselves. Something we cannot see nor confront. (at the moment in ourselves). See Jung Siddartha Ghandi Krishna Emerson Blake or me for proof. LOL!

Miscavige is now carrying out the evil just as Hubbard wanted it

You give away way too much power my friend. Way to much power. In Spiritual terms. Although mentally and emotionally and physically speaking, you are correct for sure.

Keep up the good fight. As do I.

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation Dex, and as evil as OSA is, they are not the ones to blame for this. The Ruining of lives and tearing apart of families for the "Greatest Good for the Greatest Number of Dynamics" is L. Ron Hubbard's idea of Keeping Scientology Working. Hubbard himself disconnected with his own children because they interfered with the ambitions of his cult. It's an evil totalitarian movement, created by an evil man.

There is a very good reason several countries deemed Scientology illegal. Until Scientology is seen for what it truly is, it will continue to ruin lives and tear families apart for the "Greatest Good for the Greatest Number of Dynamics" just as is done in all totalitarian movements.

In addition to the whole of scn. being evil, every single OSA staff member IS responsible for this. It is evil and each one of them is to blame for it and for the perpetuation of it. Each single person has to be held accountable to others and, more importantly, to themselves in order for this abuse to stop. There will never be any 'group agreement' (pardon the usage) in scn. to end this. It is individuals that have been brought to trial for war crimes. Check your heart, OSA individuals. You cannot hide behind your title or your group. It is you who wear a virtual anonymous mask. In the end we know who you are, each and every one and you will be exposed individually. Wake up, individually, and exit now.

Document. Everything.

Most definitely, Dex.

Most definitely, Dex.

Yes, the "just following orders" defense didn't work in the Nuremberg Trials.
There's also this pesky U.S. law about "accessories to a crime" and "obstruction of justice" to consider. Might want to interject a hint as well that there's still such a thing as "plea bargaining".

Besides OSA, personally I would throw Sci celebrities, Sci "opinion leaders", IAS Patrons, and Power FSM's into this cauldron, an oozing mix of psychopaths, sociopaths and narcissists with no conscience. Understand these types will Never change their stripes. Eventually, they will be the only remaining fodder and will devour themselves into oblivion. Not a pretty sight.

Good people under influence of psychopaths will temporarily exhibit the same symptoms. I think Dex understands this and that's the thread of hope to hang on to. Eventually, Dex, those cannibals will try to turn on your family and they will wake up and run, knowing you are there waiting with open arms.

There is also Misprision of Felony:

Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

In other words, if it can be shown that a Church member merely knew of a felony and did not report it to the legal authorities. then that Church member can be sent to prison.
