Your reply went up just a minute or so after my post - Impressive!
You know, Sweetness, if what you say is true, then C of S and Ron's tech would have no need to exist. Even Buddhism and the Dalai Lama, while not completely superflous would be less needed. The Christian thing would be closer to the truth, the branches of Christianity where, no matter how sordid your works were, you could attain a heavenly state just by accepting Jesus.
Just imagine, if Ron's tech never had existed, then none of us here on ESMB would have met and none of the pearls of wisdom of this thread would have ever been uttered.
Seriously, when you said that you are postulating a universe where one who has led a sordid life can do a complete reversal at will after body death without going through any penance. When you said that, I see that it conflicts we my core beliefs. When I signed on to the MEST Universe, I insisted that atonement and penance must occur before one could receive salvation in an after life or be born back in a higher condition that one was in when one departed his or her body.
In closing tonight, I heard a Mozart Piano Concerto tonight which is about as good as Mozart can get. It is his Concerto #9, written at age 21 in Salzburg and is his first GREAT piano concerto of the 27 he wrote. The pianist is a young male with a Scandanavian name and seems to both the conductor and solo pianist of a Scandanavian orchestrra of young people. There is an opening fast part and then at 3:31 into the video there is a switch to a Minuet theme which runs for 3 minutes. To me, that minuet is about as good as music can get. After the minuet, the first theme reappears and closes the movement and the piece.

Well Lakey, it's just my postulate of what may be possible... in response to those who are stating or implying that it is totally impossible, based on their viewpoints and belief systems...you are free to reject it as part of your reality if that is what works best for you. That doesn't hurt or harm me at all. It's o.k. to be as skeptical as you want to be, probably very healthy for you, given what you have experienced with COS!
"If he can do this on his own after such a sordid life, why can't the rest of us transform ourselves and reverse the downward spiral as he did?"
My point is: in my Universe, WE ALL CAN!!! I am postulating that we each have this ability to rise above our circumstances/mest/attitudes/hangups/limitations/viewpoints, forever as an ongoing, eternal game/challenge/creative experience/expression of Life more fully! ALL of us who claim this ability can and will realize this for ourselves!(I told you I was metaphysical...and I don't expect everyone to agree with me. This is a fun game for me to play, and I grant you your beingness to play your own game, whatever is most fun for you!
