Knowing how others feel!
I'll see ya on FB, Lakey!
Just to let you know that the three things listed above can get to me too.

We have a 1984 VW Vanagon that we bought new and still have, but it is going to our son who says he has an interest in it for whatever sentimental reasons...perhaps it is because we put his brand new little Honda 3-wheeler in the back about 25 years ago and took it back home to his grandparent's house for him to destroy the back yard lawn with.
Now I have to get it in shape for the cross-country drive when he actually comes to get it and solve the intermittent problems with the fuel injuction system. Considerable searching finally yielded that the system is called "digijet" and was only used between '84 1/2 and '85 so documentation is scarce, at best!
I HATE not having written, PRINT COPY, of anything I am trying to fix, understand or operate! Makes me nuts!
Anyway, I finally found a guy on the web who actually published a full tech manual for the "digijet" for 20$ and it arrived on Tuesday!

My needle is floatin' for sure.
I am proud to have you as a friend, Gary - and it is great to know you are getting on with the buisiness of living so well.

...snip...(love the story though, Lakey - and understand.)
THE LACK OF ANY WRITTEN SOURCE BEING READILY AVAILABLE REALLY KEYS ME IN!!! I am going along on a daily basis almost totally like a Book One Clear or better yet, a NOTs completion. My mind is totally still with no background noise whatever going on nearly 24/7. For minor distractions such as someone cutting me off in traffic, or giving me the finger, I just yawn and blow any charge which appears by inspection.
There are only 3 things now which can destroy my equanimity.
1. Being yelled at and invalidated by my ex wife. This will soon be ending as I am now in escrow for a new condo and will be moving out on my own around Christmas time. Until then, we live togeter, mostly on good terms but occasionally there is a flare up.
2. Being turned down or rejected in a 2 D type of situation. This is not happening much if at all at this time. About a 4-6 weeks ago, this did happen and I fully dramatized it here on ESMB and probably lost a lot of viewers who had previously respected me.
3. Trying to get something done such as post photos and not know the tech of how to do it nor be able to find a cook book type of write up to explain it. The frustration and exasperation which this causes me is intense and a full plethora of case phenomena turn on. I head right to the bottom of the tone scale when I try to do something with no conceptual understanding of what is taking place!
I am going to post my photos now. I would say my chances of success are at best 50 - 50, despite Carmelo explaining to me how to do it for around 45 minutes yesterday with me taking extensive notes.
