Yeah, it wasn't the best 007 film. People forgot about that one.

Some years ago, good friend of mine...who lives in a very nice part of a big city...told me about his next door neighbor. My friend knew of my love of flying and that I—along with my business partners—had just bought a Cabin Class, Cessna Twin airplane.
My friend’s neighbor was one of the original “Flying Tigers”.
I told my friend that I would give anything to meet his neighbor and, he replied, “I thought you would. Just give me a week or two notice before the next time you’re in “blank” and I’ll try and set something up.
A couple of months later I was going to spend a few days in “blank” for business and I called my friend a few weeks ahead and told him I was going to be in town for 4 days over a weekend, and I’d sure love to meet his neighbor, even if just for a few minutes.
A couple of days later my friend called me back and asked, “How much time are you going to have on Saturday to meet my neighbor?”
“How much time do I need,” I replied.
“I can’t believe you just said that.” My friend answered. “I told him about you and that you had an airplane and he said, “Well, I’m just gonna be around all day Saturday, hopin’ someone’s gonna come over with a bottle of good Scotch and wanna listen to a few stories.”
“What kinda Scotch does he drink?” I asked.
“I dunno…I don’t drink Scotch,” my friend replied. “But I do remember that he says “Single Malt” is the best. He also likes to smoke cigars when he drinks.”
Early on a Saturday afternoon, 5 weeks later, my friend and I rang his neighbor’s doorbell. The most magnificent 80 years+ man I’ve ever seen answered the door. I presented him with a bottle of 10 year old Laphroaig (my personal favorite and, IMO, better than the 15 or 20 year old) and a box of Havana Churchill’s (benefit of international business travel and learning how to smuggle whilst in the SO).
I have never—and will never again—spend a Saturday afternoon and evening like this one; the man’s Study was more than a museum—it was the testamentary treasures of an heroic youth and a life so well lived.
‘Tween puffs and draughts I thought, silently to myself, “I can’t believe that in my life I have sat in the presence of El Ron and this man…this man, that is the ‘real deal’.”

Laphroaig is the real “peety” stuff. If you like Glenlivet, you should try some Glenmorangie sometime…very nice!

Oh, give it a rest, Svetka. Check out her own web page and count the number of times Hubbard or Dianetics or Scientology or Auditor appear there. You'll find that the individual and cumulative totals are both precisely zero. And this on a site that talks about ethics and integrity. That was my point, I made it, perhaps a little too stridently for some, but I've done it now, so lets move on.
Tell me, how many of the free-zone e-meters carry the FDA advisory and how many free-zone auditors comply with the requirement that any users, recipients, distributers, and purchasers sign the document as stated:

Infinite, you are right, non of the Freezoners comply with the requirements and neither does the Cof$, as for me...I wish they would give me my money back for all of the meters I bought...since I am no longer a member and do not comply with 'the requirements'. I actually have been thinking about this very point and it will be a very good argument to get my refund...no? Maybe all of the auditors should return the meters on those basis and get refunds...

Does history record any case in which the majority was right?
—Robert Heinlein
This is a very eye opening question! I remember one instance. This was in the Weimar Republic when Hitler ran for President in 1932. He did not win but did come in second place! The majority did not vote for him! Hindenburg, who was then around 80 years old won the election and became President.
The majority got it right but a year or so later, Hindenburg had to step down because of his health and he appointed Hitler as his successor thereby undermining the wisdom of the majority.
I love fools’ experiments.
I’m always making them.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA, 10 P.M., FRIDAY
Shoreline Amphitheater was rocking.
More than 20,000 people had turned out at northern California’s largest music venue to hear Nine Inch Nails, loud and in charge, on what was expected to
be their last tour.
Backstage, there was more unusual entertainment. “Dude, I go into the stall to take care of business, and I look over and see the top of Tim’s head popping above the divider. He was doing fucking air squats in the men’s
room in complete silence.”
Glenn, a videographer and friend, burst out laughing as he reenacted my technique. To be honest, he needed to get his thighs closer to parallel.
“Forty air squats, to be exact,” I offered.
Kevin Rose, founder of Digg, one of the top-500 most popular websites in the world, joined in the laughter and raised a beer to toast the incident. I, on the other hand, was eager to move on to the main event.
In the next 45 minutes, I consumed almost two full size barbecue chicken pizzas and three handfuls of mixed nuts, for a cumulative total of about 4,400 calories. It was my fourth meal of the day, breakfast having consisted of two glasses of grapefruit juice, a large cup of coffee with cinnamon, two chocolate croissants, and two bear claws.
The more interesting portion of the story started well after Trent Reznor left the stage.
Roughly 72 hours later, I tested my body fat percentage with an ultrasound analyzer designed by a physicist out of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Charting the progress on my latest experiment, I’d dropped from 11.9% to 10.2% bodyfat, a 14% reduction of the total fat on my body, in 14 days.
How? Timed doses of garlic, sugar cane, and tea extracts, among other things.
The process wasn’t punishing. It wasn’t hard. Tiny changes were all it took. Tiny changes that, while small in isolation, produced enormous changes when used in combination.
Want to extend the fat-burning half-life of caffeine?
Naringenin, a useful little molecule in grapefruit juice, does just the trick.
Need to increase insulin sensitivity before bingeing once per week?
Just add some cinnamon to your pastries on Saturday morning, and you can get the job done.
Want to blunt your blood glucose for 60 minutes while you eat a high-carb meal guilt-free?
There are a half dozen options.
But 2% bodyfat in two weeks? How can that be possible if many general practitioners claim that it’s impossible to lose more than two pounds of fat per week?
Here’s the sad truth: most of the one-size-fits-all rules, this being one example, haven’t been field-tested for exceptions.
You can’t change your muscle fiber type?
Sure you can. Genetics be damned.
Calories in and calories out?
It’s incomplete at best.
I’ve lost fat while grossly overfeeding. Cheesecake be praised.
The list goes on and on.
It’s obvious that the rules require some rewriting.
That’s what this book is for.

Oh, I just gave my first 3 hour workshop last Saturday at a beautiful private residence in Beverly Hills. Pictures to follow.
What a riot! We had so much fun and learned a lot from each other.
The title of this trial run was MY FAVORITE AXIOMS by Candy Swanson, as a take-off of My Favorite Martian.
We were eight in number. After the initial hysterical group processing, which included a group hug, we were all freely interchanging viewpoints, as each contributed their own favorite axiom only limited by my skillful moderation.
Thanks to our lovely hostess, we had a very elegant environment in which to cavort, as I had our very interactive ambulatory group colorfully demo my fav, AXIOM 28, on the gigantic Magic Erase Board.
The attendees ranged from Class VIII to a lovely gal who had only had the Profile in person by me last week, "the chain is as strong as the weakest link".
I was so moved as the newbie's eyes lit up with new understanding and she glowed brightly, as we all once did, so very long ago.
Seeing the self evident truths through her eager eyes, renewed my original enthusiasm which I didn't realize had gone underground on me, and as a result, I'd been conservative over the past 45 years! Yikes!
What has been made old, can be made new again!
Tone level of the EVENT: [my stat] Enthusiasm!
END PRODUCT: live communication without reservation. YAY!
Aloha to every one out there!
