Brilliant post, Face!

As I read it slowly and carefully, I began to feel like one of those moments in a great book or movie when you realize you have just turned to the last Chapter or Final Act and the denouement of a great drama is redirecting 1000 differently-colored threads into one cohesive tapestry. I always wondered how that would be possible with Shooting Stars since it has been such a colorfully expansive odyssey.

But you somehow found that golden thread that has been there all along, yet not quite obvious.

Beautiful storytelling and......illuminating!

Now, I now don't feel so bad that the Shooting Stars saga will at some point conclude.

Maybe, also, because the character depicted atop your Pez Dispenser is a Muse and there are likely other writing exploits that may "pop up" later.

What a sublime treat this whole story from the FaceWerks Studio has been.......

Anyone with half a brain that spent anything more than cursory, hit and miss or orchestrated time with Hisself had to know—deep down in their heart of hearts—that Hisself was not the “Ot de Ot’s”.

I am not so arrogant as to pretend I know the mindset of Yvonne, Capt. Bill or Julia regarding El Ron. I heard them talk in public at events and talked with them privately about Hisself. Each one expressed publicly and privately to me their adoration of El Ron and told stories to illustrate Hisself’s charm, dedication and brilliance...”OTness”.

El Ron continued to plagiarize, “borrow”, usurp, commandeer, bastardize and outright steal and quasi compile of the works of countless others for Hisself’s “Admin Tech” after KSW but, after all, like Marty (who never met the man) says, “He was just a human being like the rest of us and had his flaws.”

You were complaining that I was not paying attention to your threads. Well, I read this one and I liked it for two reasons:

1. It is very interesting.

2. It confirms something that I wrote at OCMB -- several individuals were doing work for Hubbard, which did not require high IQ on his part.

I do not know if you were practicing Scientology when Campbell was de facto running the church; perhaps, you have something to say regarding his administrative capabilities.

You were complaining that I was not paying attention to your threads. Well, I read this one and I liked it for two reasons:

1. It is very interesting.

2. It confirms something that I wrote at OCMB -- several individuals were doing work for Hubbard, which did not require high IQ on his part.

I do not know if you were practicing Scientology when Campbell was de facto running the church; perhaps, you have something to say regarding his administrative capabilities.

Regarding my "complaining" that you weren't "paying attention to my threads"...My point to you, which apparently you have personalized, was that you have a "Take" on El Ron that Hisself –whom you never met and I can clearly tell have covered a pittance of Hisself's materials and the credible information that is available about Hisself—was an "Idiot Savant with an IQ of 60", which I think is woefully incorrect and has been shot full of holes already by others on another Thread.

I have written over a 125,000 words on ESMB re: my life and times with El Ron, SO, Scn Senior "Management" and Scn in general and I told you that I was through trying Dialogue with you until you had read this Thread and all the Links so that you knew where I was coming from and had a "Frame of Reference" for someone and something that you know very little about but think you have all figured out better than anyone else—you clearly have not done so. You're free to read all of Shooting Stars and the Links or free to glean whatever you wish from one Post of that series that you interpret as confirming your personal hobby horse.

I will not be responding to you any further.

I have never claimed to be The Authority or Ultimate Word on all things El Ron...quite the contrary...I have said numerous times that I know I am not and do not view myself as such. However, if you ever take the time to read all of Shooting Stars and its Links, which I doubt you will, you will see that my background in Scn, SO, Senior "Management" and interaction with El Ron was not only extensive it spanned, IMO, the most pivotal era of the aforementioned and there are few Us that lived that that have taken the time, summoned the will or, especially, have not been muzzled to do so.

As far as "Campbell de facto running the Church"—Oh, really?

I was heading down the gangway and hanging up my Flag Senior Officers Cap around the time Campbell was walking up it for the first time as a Swamper.

I don't have "It" all figured out and I know that. I'm still learning every day. I've read every post you have made on ESMB and, so far, have learned bupkis from you. Harsh words, but honest.

Andre Tabayoyan used to entertain us with those "fluff" stories as well. But he had quite a few - many more - that were rarely told that showed L Ron to be the sociopathic, controlling egomaniac he was. What kept Andre from telling these was his sworn loyalty to L Ron. I'm sure he, who knew L Ron so well and was at his side for so many years as bodyguard, valet, confidential missionaire - would agree with you wholeheartedly.

I remember Andre as a magnificent, fine man...Truly an Officer and a Gentleman...One of a kind.

I do sooo hope he and his loved ones are doing well.

As I have said before, when I first came to ESMB you were one of the Folks that deftly, over time, opened up me can of squirmin' worms.

You were of the Folks that I "gravitated" to in my early days in Scn...the then "Old Timers". I value your perspective, I appreciate your steadfastness to the original "Dream" and, most importantly, I cherish your friendship.

You may be close to 'tapped out' for the present, yet there is no telling when something else may come to mind which may warrant sharing.

I'll keep reading your threads when I have time.

I'm not going to argue about Hubbard's IQ any more, as I said at another thread because my opponents and I have reached the point where we started repeating the same arguments over and over.

My OSMB thread, Clay Demos & Hubbard's Dementia, was translated into Russian, as I was notified by a Russian member of the board because it is seen as important by the translators.

I had similar debates at WWP where I received plenty of criticizm for my views. But at the same time many members have accepted my evaluation of Hubbard's mental capabilities (I use the word "mine" because people keep forgetting that this is not my evaluation, but the one made by my cousin, who is a clinical psychologist).

I have a very thick skin, I can take unlimited amount of criticizm without being offended by it, although I might get irritated by it.

You irritated me once, and I used the term that I should not have used in reference to you. I apologize for that.

Finally: I know that a lot of ex-Scientologists will not change their opinion about Hubbard because of my threads. But I was not planning to change their opinions anyway -- my posts are intended for the CoS members who visit this website. As I was told, they do visit anti-Scientology websites in search of truth (this does not apply to Sea Org members who are denied access to the Internet).

I must confess that you give me too much credit...I've honestly just been fumbling my way along and going with my instinct and Heart. Without all Yall's interest, encouragement, comments, observations, questions and patience I woulda never, ever written all this no how, no way.

As I have mentioned a few times in the past on ESMB I have been working, sporadically...very sporadically...on a book for several years now about my Dance with Death and Walk through Hades. It would have been completed by now if it had not been for the time I have spent here on ESMB reading, writing, Dialoguing, sharing, horsing around, making new friends--like you--and reconnecting with friends and acquaintances from long ago.

When I finish Shooting Stars I'm gonna take a break from posting much for awhile and focus on finishing my book. Whether or not it is ever Published is of secondary importance to me at this time. What is of importance to me is to follow the Path of Personal Discovery that beckons me and the only way to get there--wherever "there" is--is to write my way there. That's what I did here on ESMB--that's what I learned here on ESMB--and the Journey and the book will be a far, far finer experience and worthwhile work for having come here and walked, talked and cut up with folks the likes of you and so many others of Us.

Before I came here I truly thought that what I had to say about El Ron, So, Scn and "It" was not of all that much importance in the grand scheme of things. I also truly thought that "It" was all behind me and I should just let "It" go and move on.

Man, was I ever wronger than wrong.

I really appreciate your writing here on ESMB. Being of the generation starting from 1986 you have filled in some missing and mystery data.

I remember back when I did my staff stint, I always asked myself where are the old timers. I always wanted to met and talk with people from the Dianetics 1950 era up to PT. But one never could, no way to know who they were or are, no way to reach them. It was one of those missing things. And because it was missing, and still is within the confines of the CO$, I would forget about it, the thoughts of "where are the oldtimers?". It's the hardest thing to spot, "what's missing" and because you can't see it.

But, my thoughts have been answered. The secret of where are the oldtimers is out. Thank You and others who have posted their experiences.
