I will go to the local morgue and do cartwheels in their scraggly, unkempt yard!:happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance: and I won't wear a mask!

I will be so happy that the dictator is locked up behind bars!!

OK, just for fun ...

I think the whole thing will fall apart.

Miscavige has been at the helm so long and squeezed off the blood supply to others in the organization so long that I doubt anyone now part of "management" (which is NOT what happens in that joint) has the political clout to seize leadership.

S.O. members who didn't flee soon would engage in a half-hearted "Lord of the Flies" experience, sending even more flies fleeing.

Nobody from the outside wants back in, and nobody on the inside would accept them if they tried.

Very soon it would be a ghost town.

The only reason it has survived this long has been because of the iron hand of David Miscavige. I'll give him credit for keeping the con going nearly 30 years after Hubbard died.

But there is no one at all who could step up and handle it. Miscavige isn't grooming anyone to take his place (LOL ... just try imagining that). And whether Miscavige leaves in handcuffs, a hearse or out the back door, we're watching The Last Years of Scientology right now.

My two cents' worth,

I guess ED Int would de-PTS enough to take over, temporarily at least because he is getting old now. I think people still like and would accept him.

And what regards Miscavige, he will die early on organic failure. I would say heart attack but I am not totally sure. I am not wishing him this but the chances are very high.

Balthasar,

I'm with you on Miscavige's life expectancy. He is wound WAY too tight to have very good long-term prospects.

Honestly, I'd think some other person would take the helm and then blame DM for the non-release of Super-Power, and the failure of the Ideal Orgs, and on and on and on.

Scios always look for the who and the why... If DM goes down, he becomes both, and business as usual. JMNSHO

ETA: I mean, seriously, Mayo went down in flames and the cult kept on. Indoctrinated people will buy whatever is sold to them. Mayo audited Hubbard and was on top, and they scoured him to the bones.

Miscavige? I'm sure his ego would like to think otherwise, but if he goes down, the cult-machine will grind on with him being desecrated into the ground. Probably won't matter for his escape, unless he really was such an idiot that he didn't set him up financially.

Every org will receive the letter saying Miscavige has created ‘a cult of personality’ and squirrelled the tech.

Now a new true LRH-ist will lead everyone to the true LRH-ism. Hip, Hip, Hooray!:clap::clap:

I just cannot see any criminal case ever getting that far. When the heat is on he'll throw everyone else under the bus and hide like a frightened dog just like Ron did. I am quite sure he has a cozy little pied à terre all ready in some sunny banana republic with no US extradition treaty.

First, no one would miss him. I've been thinking about this. He does not have anyone who cares. His wife would be happy as would his niece. He has no kids.

DM could be made to disappear with no protest.

As to who would take the helm, it depends on circumstances. Captain Bill tried while Hubbard was still alive. He was delusional to think he could take over by appealing to the Scis with reason.

DM took over because he had inside information and had effectively started running Scientology before anyone realized. It would be difficult to try DMs tricks on himself, especially when he is not hiding.

Very few cults survive the death of their leader. Scientology has been one of the exceptions to this. Scientology is already in its death throes. I doubt it would survive an unexpected grab for power.

Do you remember the movie Papillon? I'd like to give Dave a home on that island and he can carry his billion dollars up his ass like Henry did. The only differences would be that he would be rightly convicted and he would not escape. Devil's Island would make the Hole seem like a Bingo parlor.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papillon_(book)
The book is an account of a 14-year period in Papillon's life (October 26, 1931 to October 18, 1945) starting from when he was wrongly convicted of murder in France and sentenced to a life of hard labor at the Devil's Island penal colony. He escaped from Devil's Island, to ultimately settle in Venezuela, where he lived and prospered, free from French justice.
Papillon endured a brief stay at a prison in Caen. As soon as he boarded a vessel bound for South America, he learned about the brutal life that prisoners had to endure at the prison colony. Murders were not uncommon among convicts, and men were cut with makeshift knives for their charger (a hollow metal cylinder containing money, lodged in the rectum; it has also been called a plan). Papillon befriended a former banker convicted of counterfeiting named Louis Dega. He agreed to protect Dega from those seeking to murder him for his charger
Runs in the family. Run that thought. Start!

He can go to the old dictators home in Saudi Arabia. The one where Ida Amin and his ilk go to when their day in the sun is over. They sit around and tell war stories while abusing the Philipino wait staff.

Could be disposed of quietly and without sorrow?

After having him shackled and completely restrained - Davey should be forced to liquidate all funds and build a [STRIKE]DisneyLand[/STRIKE]/SquirrelPark for all the kids that he and Hubbub messed up. And where they all go to have as great time as they want - and for however long they want. At this point ideas of 'kids' could extend to 50 -60 years olds...It'll blow Disneyworld away

All cotton candy and popcorn is FREE. Everyone wins the best prizes.

He'll be restrained in device within this park, high atop an observation point where he'll have to witness all - and where his only movement allowed, would be to pay the money in for each and any ride/exhibit, and that anyone wants to do - no limit as to how many times. There would be e-meter 'cans' surgically attached to his balls whereby his needle would be displayed on a huge(HUGE) screen visible throughout the park, for everyone to see...and where's there any sign of charge, there's another completed Ideal building in XXX that he'd have to donate as an 'Ideal Free" building to people in need, and in any area across planet Earth, for all those messed by the whole scam and others as well

He'd be hooked up to IV tube, where his only food/intake would be badly mixed and overdosed on cal-mag, causing constant diarrhea, but too: he'll be fitted in an Apollo NASA pressured space suit - until it blows out the seams from his own 'pressure'. Thus marking his end - could take a loooonnnggg while for this

Well, that's only my quickly assembled idea here - I may come up with many better ones should the OP proposition come to be. I'm working on it.

I apologize if I misunderstood the opening OP

Wishful thinking, anyone?

DM is not going to tangle with justice, nor is justice going to tangle with him as long as he has enough money to buy sheriffs, judges, PIs, [strike]thugs[/strike] bodyguards, speed-boats, private jets, senators, Tom Cruise, newscasters and the IRS.

His scope may be reduced as his world shrinks but the good ol' U.S. of A. will forever support his right to control a tax-exempt mafia.
