What's new

The Internet IS $cientology's Vietnam

:omg: Back in the "old days"...1969-1999......Literally NO ONE
had access to the Internet w/in $cientology, except for some peeps in OSA. IF you were a member
and spoke to ANY "SP"(suppressive person) you were automatically declared SP yourself, thus losing
all of your friends, family, etc. (and most still "in" Still do not read the Net, although
$cientology's control on their peeps is failing, literally daily...due to the access everyone has to the Net). :hifive::hysterical:

Back when I was still "in" and a member, even I, who had
been roped into this "Top Secret OSA International Internet gang" to open up phony accounts
for them to use.....I did not read or post on the Net...

UNTIL............

I realized OSA (Gavino Idda to be exact) who ran the group, was acting JUST like the
Chicago Mafia did when I lived in Chicago, and some of them lived in one of our home towns.
It was at that point that I decided to go LOOK on the Net. That day....for those of you who were there,
OSA Had "Spammed" Alt.Religion.Scientology with Baking Recipes. How to bake a cake, cupcakes etc.

In between were people saying: "I did not say that. Scientology is changing my words". :scnsucks:  :scnsucks:

At this second, I realized these accounts I was opening were NOT being used to "Handle the critics"
as my then auditor and good friend, Bill Yaude, told me. No---they were being used to STOP FREE SPEECH. bad news....really bad news. (Shortly after this I fully woke up and escaped out with the help of some wonderful friends). $cientology
tries to say I was paid to do this, I had an affair, blah blah blah. Really? Well, SHOW ME THE F*** $$$ and Bring
over the dood I had the affair with! Otherwise: Thanks for proving you DO use "Fair Game".

OSA *thought* they could SPAM the Net enough---and basically control it. :eyeroll:
The have FAILED TOTALLY. :anon:
As Anonymous says: "EPIC FAIL!" The Net literally is their Vietnam.

I found out after I escaped out that these OSA Knuckleheads had tried to "Cancel" ARS. :scnsucks:
EPIC FAIL...and the beginning of the "Critic Movement". (People never "in"...but willing to help
fight for the rights of Scientologists speaking out on the Net).
This was in the 90's.

One would *think* they would have learned their lesson from that disaster.
But oh no! $cientology always knows. So in 2008....when s/one leaked a Tom Cruise video onto the Net,
OSA tried to order it off. Once again...........a TOTAL EPIC FAIL.
:bricks::bricks::guyfawkes:

Here is the result of *that*:

I could list *tons* of fabulous interviews....please use Google to learn more about this
insidious Cult of $cientology.

Anonymous helped crack C of $'s CODE OF SILENCE, Forever.
They ($cientologists) TRY to say they "won" as Anonymous has for the most part, moved on.
The truth is, after their arrival and pickets, TONS of Books were written, and media interviews finally have been created
and shown. Keep in mind, Anonymous was only able to do what they did because of the many ex-scientologists
and critics before them who had helped pave the road. However, they NAILED It 100%!!

OH FUCK the INTERNET IS HERE!! :omg::omg::clap::clap::omg: :woohoo: :omg:

http://anongallery.org/1260/oh-fuck-the-internet-is-here

You got that one right, Davey boy!
As I've said for years: Tick Tock, Tick Tock........TIME **is** on OUR side!!

Happy Trails and :thankyou: to EVERY single Ex-Scientologist, Critic, Anonymous
and now even Scientologists who have helped expose the abuses of the insidious
organization pretending to be a "church": $cientology.

Welcome to 2014!! :bighug:

Let's keep posting excellent Net sites for peeps who are newly out to view.

Here was one of THE 1st Web sites, put together by Andreas Heldal-Lund who lives in Norway, was never "in".
He is a computer geek and he told me he saw one article about Scientology in the paper.
It didn't quite add up.....so he began cruising the Net in the 90's. He found TONS of amazing stories, all around
the net....but NONE In one place.

So: He created www.xenu.net

You will find TONS of excellent, factual information there.
:thankyou: Andreas!

PEACE

Scientology has created lies about many of us. So if you're newly
out...you need to actually learn both sides and then make up your own mind.

One person I'm sure you've heard of is Mark Bunker.
Here is his web site: www.xenutv.com
There are many Interviews from many, many ex-Scientologists and Scientologists there.

Also, since I've been out, Mark started filming me. This was my 1st video he made:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxpHWev4tiU

And shortly after I left, 4 of we OT's got together to talk:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C5j63DsmnQ

about OT 7 and OT 8 and how different it was for
each of us. This was in 2000, shortly after I escaped out.

This was a talk I did at C.F.I. which stands for Center for Inquiry----aka: Skeptics.
They invited me to talk, so here ya go: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7F43F1E055B219F0

Lastly here is my YouTube site, www.youtube.com/ToryMagoo44
which I've made over 600 videos now.

Hope some of this helps. If you have any other (of the SO many great sites now)
on the Net.........please feel free to post them.

Happy New Year to you ALL

This is one of my favorite "blogs" now:

http://tonyortega.org/

Tony Ortega created this blog and is a journalist.

He actually did my very 1st interview (in paper) back in 2000.
I was terrified, mostly for some people I dearly love..and he was truly wonderful.

He has remained fantastic. Now he's created this blog. I HIGHLY recommend
you sign up for it. Then you get a link each day to what he's talking about.

Great info........terrific group of peeps, too.  :flowers2:

Love to ALL :)

Thank you, TrevAnon!

Also, here's another Scientologist who woke up and left, and has made
many excellent videos: Karen de la Carriere (who used to be married to Heber):
http://www.youtube.com/user/SurvivingScientology

Also, Mike Rinder has a blog with excellent information on it:
http://www.mikerindersblog.org/the-big-scientology-lie/

See why this is Scientology's Vietnam?

I could go on all night with links. Please...if you have others, as I know there are TONS,
please feel free to add them here. I literally have met with quite a few peeps newly out,
so although many of us know these sites, I think it's key we keep them re-posted for the new
people now free. :)

WELCOME ALL!! :clap::clap::clap::clap::biggrin::dance3::heartflower::arose:

For people recently out: there is a list of ex-members of the COS who have spoken out against the abuses. By now there are more than 2160 entries, almost more than the number of Scientologists in Australia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology_in_Australia

I reckon over 90% of ex-members are just glad to escape and never mention the subject ever again so hats off to the 2,000 plus brave souls telling the truth about the fraudulent and abusive Scientology cult.

90%?? Hmmmm....doesn't ring true for me, as many, many
people leave and continue to share stories....years after they left. :omg:

However, I'm in touch with critics and Anonymous---which adds many more people speaking out
about this insidious organization pretending to be a "church" when it's really a fraudulent business.

:scnsucks: :scnsucks: :yes::melodramatic:

Soooooooooooooo happy to be OUT! :happydance:

Thanks, xenusdad

About a year ago I downloaded the data on Kristi's site ( http://www.truthaboutscientology.com/ ). By then there were some 120,000 entries.

Let's say there are 20,000 Scientologists right now, that leaves 120,000 - 20,000 = 100,000 people out. There are a little more than 2,000 ex-members speaking out.

So only 2% speak out...

You may want to use your own numbers in this calculation or use another system. That's totally fine. But I don't doubt that by far the majority of the exes never speak out but just go on with their lives.

Yup Trev, I remember this being discussed a while back and that the guesstimate was pretty low (under 5%), a shame really, but understandable considering the level of paranoia and fear that the cult instills in its members, especially for those with family still 'in', the threat of disconnection is very real, no matter how the 'church's' (HA!) vehement denials and structured lies try to bend, deny, and re-write history.

I'll add a few of my recent links collection here (sry so small, I retired my old pc which has a list of over 300 various info/critical sites, blogs, articles etc. :(, one day I'll figure out how to rescue them. < me. lazy *derp), here goes >>>

~The Wiki on scientology's 'Fair Game' policy > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Game_(Scientology)

~A great article in Oct. 2011's issue of Scientific American by Micheal Shermer (some of the comments are awesome) > http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=the-real-science-behind-scientology

~Jonny Jacobsen's most excellent and insightful site/blog (great writings to be found there) > http://infinitecomplacency.blogspot.com/2009/11/5-paul-schofields-letter.html

~Narconon Exposed site, one can spend hours here reading a variety of well researched topics involving Hubbard's confabulation, the 'Junk Science' section has a wealth of info. that I've always found fascinating > http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Narconon/junkscience.htm
From within > http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Narconon/science.htm
Though not really updated for years (2002?), the information is still quite valid, many links to other places provided for cross-referencing.

~Nederland's (Home Page) a massive collection of information links regarding all things scientology, if your having trouble putting some pieces together, find historical facts, or sleeping, this is one of the 'to-go-to' sites imho > http://www.stelling.nl/simpos/scieneng.htm#Hubba

And remember folks, search engines are our friends (though I'm starting to wonder about Google with its G+ crap, it is still one of the best out there).

 To all the seekers of truth!

The most accurate figure for members was posted by Mark Plummer who compiled
a worldwide list of those trained and processed. 240,000 approx. People who only did
div 6 actions and book buyers would not be counted. This was compiled in the nineties
IIRC. Then we have the various government religious surveys which seem to indicate
a worldwide total of 40,000 CO$ members. Not sure if this includes those "under the
radar". How would they answer these surveys?

So this gives 240,000 - 40,000 = 200,000 people who were in once. Of these, 2,000 spoke out. That is 1 % . :)

This may seem small, but think about it.

There are 2.2 billion Christians: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity#Demographics . Would there be 1% of them protesting the Christian beliefs and/or churches, than that would make 22,000,000 critics. :omg:

I love it when the stats come together.

The IAS was formed in October 1984 and they published their goals for 1985. One of these was to get 200,000 members.

Now bear in mind that everyone in the CofS - staff, Sea Org, public, raw public, whoever - needs to have some form of IAS membership.

Also bear in mind the fact that Scientology regges don't hang about. If they had to get all current members of the CofS to buy a membership then they could do it in a matter of weeks, not a whole year.

Therefore, in my opinion, this means that the figure of 200,000 must have been far in excess of the total number of people in the CofS at that time.

Also, I was told in 1996 in a highly confidential IAS briefing that the total number of IAS members worldwide was 68,000. I was so shocked by this that I queried that it included every single member of the CofS on the planet and the reply was: "Yes, that's all we have. Its a good job the SPs don't know isn't it?"

Here are a few other websites that I did not see listed above which have been instrumental in educating people about the atrocities committed by Scientology.

Thank you, Dean!
It was getting late by the time I'd made the 1st few posts of links...
which is why I asked people to post other great sites.

You are absolutely correct: each one of those is filled with excellent information
for people to step out of the mind control "Scientology-Truman show" and SEE the actual
FACTS.

:thankyou: Dean and to each of you who has posted on this thread and/or read it!

I guess whyweprotest doesn't count...

( Google that if you want, beware though you will be in for a VERY bumpy ride! )

The following link to a list of books and other publications may actually be helpful: http://whyweprotest.wikia.com/wiki/Chronology_of_publications_on_Scientology

Hell Yes it does!!

Anonymous has created some of THE best videos on the Net.
They've done a terrific job of gathering info, too.

To new peeps out, one just needs to know they can be a bit on the rowdy side....
Including serious opinions. Since I'm banned from there for years...it's not one *I* would post...but sure,
check it out, too. www.whyweprotest.net isn't it?

Here's a few of my favorite Anons videos, aside from their amazing pickets around the world:
