That's actually a good idea, Mary. Where I live, apparently they look at a plate in a mirror and back to front and every which way to make sure they understand all the potential meanings. I'm sure someone would read the book if it got sent in! But, it probably wouldn't affect the end decision, because other motorists won't have read the book when they interpret the plate.

It's interesting that I haven't been called. Are they calling declared people as well? I'm fairly easy to find, I think.

I have no idea about that. All I can tell you is that my daughter and then my elderly parents were surprised when they called them asking for me. :confused2:
If I didn't know about this I wouldn't have believed it myself.
When I read the months-old threads on this I thought, "Huh! Your kidding me?"
