Some random thoughts that relate, I think, to this thread: Was LRH fixated on 'private parts'? Cos I don't recall reading anything he wrote about such things. Admittedly it is a looong time since I read any of his writings, and I have no intention of locating a DMSMH or anything else to check. I know I've read here on ESMB that LRH was uncomfortable speaking about sex in his taped lectures, that he steered clear of the topic. Which in itself begs a few questions, I guess, but not particularly unusual for that time and social climate.
Is it likely that excerpts from his writings that focus on 'private parts' have to be excavated from the far greater mass of other nonsense? - and the fact that they are highlighted among this community of critics, speaks more to our fixation than his? - our wish to unearth and publish and vilify the most heinous aspects of his character. But why would we pick on his sexual peccadilloes? Imo, there are worse qualities we could point to. It is true though that public castigation and wish to punish perpetrators of sexual misconduct is a very available and prominent button to push.
Some of his attitudes were of his milieux. eg homophobia. His lack of confidence in his sexual attractiveness and wish to 'slay' members of the female gender are pretty common even today.
His having young adolescent and pre-adolescent girls attend his intimate physical needs, imo, is the most suggestive of sexual fixation. It's interesting though, that he is not alone in this kind of practice. For example, Gandhi had young women attend his needs and sleep with him in his old age. I don't assume his needs were necessarily sexual, but sexual hangups have been attributed to Gandhi by his biographer, Erik Erickson.
More random thoughts> Just gonna throw this out there for the vultures to feed on

It's the male species of 'live units' that exhibit the most obvious fixation on private parts. Women don't often rape. Men often do as victors in war. They are anatomically designed to place a stake in the ground colonized by war. It's happening now in Libya apparently. It's probably a survival of the species thing. (You gotta be fixated on it, otherwise you'd spend all your time watching baseball or football, or drinking beer with your mates/buddies, or driving fast cars, your seed would be wasted, and mankind would disappear.

)
Vinny seems to believe we should be able to see through these fixations and find something of value. So far in this thread, I would say the outlook is pretty bleak, the results are pretty much nada.
