You would be absolutely amazed how lenient the California Bar is when it comes to abuse of process by attorneys, which is why Rick Moxon has famously gotten away with this bullshit for decades. He has not gotten away with it in other states, and when he tried to use his credentials to shut down an anti-Scientology conference in Germany last year, the German courts tossed him out on his ass.

Moxon regularly abuses the legal & judicial process in California because he knows he can get away with it as has been done so many times in the past.

Having been the "subject" of more than a few depositions myself, including one that lasted 8 hours I'd like to comment on Mr. Moxon's performance.

Having known Mr. Moxon back in the day at the old Founding Church of DC it is somewhat amusing to see him in action as a laywer since my recollections of him are of a snot nose kid perambulating around that building on 19th street.

While I would love nothing more than to report that his performance and tactics used in the deposition were inappropriate or nagging, I can't.

From my professional viewpoint he was neither good nor bad, simply average. C+

What I am more curious about, and forgive me if this has already been discussed on the FCDC thread because I think it has... is he still hooked up with Carla? I can't seem to remember since I may or may not be on drugs that affect my ability to recall.

Damn why doesn't someone arrange that thread in chapters?

I don't necessarily think he's stupid, he is just applying a well known legal tactic.

Throw enough shit at the wall and some of it is bound to stick.

Last I heard, Carla is separated from Rick. The biggest mistake that most everyone that has ever sat in deposition with Rick Moxon is that he is an ethical attorney who is going to play nice because you get more information from being nice than being a creep. Wrong!!

Moxon is a product of his upbringing in Scientology which has allowed him an almost no-holds-barred approach to using his credentials to violate laws, stomp on civil rights, and deceive and defraud the "wog" courts to pursue Scientology's homo novis agenda.

Moxon is a thug, a mobster, and a psychopath. He blew off his daughter's death as inconsequential, sent his grieving, distraught wife Carla to Clearwater for over a year for "processing" (a Sea Org'er grieving over the loss of a child is major out-ethics), and turned his back on his only son, Brian & his wife, Eva, after they blew (and was later recovered) when Eva decided to have her son, Jack. I doubt Rick even plays a role in the life of his grandson.
