Alan Walters' "Knowledgism"

There is a white and a black side to everything.

That applies to everything including to Alanzo!

There is no automaticity that can ever safeguard you.

It is just you and you alone that can safeguard you.

If you are trying to get some reassurance, that is simply asking for some automaticity to be set up for you.

Sorry, Alanzo, there are no short cuts. You just have to be watchful.

Suggest you read this!

In other words, all the rich guys in the world are now broke?

Alan

The financial markets are screwy right now. I had a plan (gad, why doesn't one of them work!!!) to make my fortune on the FOREX markets this year. Spent 6 months diddling with different systems and indicators until I finally had it utterly sussed. My demo account went from $5000 to $18000 in two months, and my real account went from $2000 to a little over $4000 in 4 weeks.

Then everything turned upside down. AUD and NZD went to 18 year highs twice in a few weeks, the USD just couldn't get up against the GBP and the EURO was running like a yo-yo. I blew $3500 in 10 days trying to fathom what the hell was going on and eventually backed off, bleeding.

The US economy is in meltdown, that's the reality of it. The country is in huge debt, so huge that it can never be paid off. And finally, people have stopped believing that it will all come out right in the end. There's no confidence in the world's reference economy, and EUR is too new to replace it. The gold standard has already fallen apart, most of it is in private hands now.

We live in interesting times.

The reason I am reluctant to answer questions on this thread about Knowledgism is it acts as a form of proselyting.

There is only one person on ESMB that I would really like to be part of what I do.

Why doncha just ask 'em.

So I really hit the nail on the head with this artificial identity of "Knowledgist", with all its goals of "Total Riches", and it's moral codes, and everything else.

See, I did enough of the BC, too, to figure this out.

But I was not going to go around and dramatize on others what LRH did to me.

You even have a kind of Bridge to Total Riches. And books that promote the services. Even your own Saint Hill out there in the middle of Texas.

You know exactly what you are doing, don't you, Alan?

I do, too.

Did you examine those three safeguards that I mentioned?

I went back to Tampa Org in 2005-06 to learn all about Scientology ethics so I could steer my way through it. Early 2006 I was finally successful in getting attention of LRH Comm FSO to get a Board of Review called. In the first meeting it was clear how Flag terminals had goofed up. But to this day I have not received the findings of that B of R.

To me this was a test of how Ethics and Justice is being followed at Flag. I found it to be sadly wanting. If ethics (rationality) is out, then tech and admin would obviously be misinterpreted and it would be out too.

Vinaire,
I remember you from the FSO in 1978. I live in the Tampa Bay area as well.
How would I contact you?

Those safeguards are safeguards that Hubbard thought up.

Those aren't very good safeguards.

There is a technology to brainwashing. Hubbard knew it. He didn't discover it, he learned it from elsewhere.

But, just like so much else, he mis-directed Scientologists by outlining decoys, such as "PDH", etc.

And he also outlined the solution to the DECOY, like no inval or eval, etc.

You should not trust Hubbard to give you the safeguards to use to look out for cults and brainwashing groups.

Instead, study this article and dig into some of its sources, the originals of which were all available to Hubbard. And the tech of which he used extensively throughout Scientology on Scientologists.

The technology of brainwashing does exist. And once you learn it, there can be a temptation that rises within you to use it on others because then you can see it as a way to create your ideal life through harnessing the sweat, blood and genius of others for your own gain.

I've never seen anyone prosper from it. I have only seen madness and death in the end.

Just like L Ron Hubbard.

Alan -

As a suggestion, maybe you should look at the time-honored principle of "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely" with your experiences in Scientology and with Hubbard, and see how you might prevent those same things happening in your own organization.

Hubbard was really no different than any of us. He just succumbed to the same temptations we all are subject to.

Maybe you should go down there and investigate it and give a full report. Observation missions are still in useful, huh?

I doubt if Alan would let me in the front gate.

However, you, Bea.

I think he has a contract for you to sign.

I don't see why not (he wouldn't let you in the front door) although, I kind of assume you wouldn't go around buttonholing the paying customers. You could interrogate the rattlesnakes instead :)

Huh? what are you talking about?

Earlier in this thread, Alan says that there is only one person on this board that he would like to work with.

I am guessing that is you, because of your training and case levels, and proximity.

I might be wrong.

Perish the thought.

What's "buttonholing"?

I like the sound of that.

3. To accost and detain (a person) in conversation by or as if by grasping the person's outer garments: "He was also frequently buttonholed by White House lobbyists . . . who seemed to be permanently assigned to shadow the burly Democrat" Terence Moran.

It's usually used for the guy at the party who (drink in the other hand) sticks his finger in your buttonhole and holds onto you while he tells you the state of god and the world and yourself.
