Yah. That was the first incident that really hit me as far as how LRH treated his friends. In return for Don Purcelle's gifting the DMSMH copyrights back to LRH, Don was vilified (as you descibed in your earlier post) by LRH spreading the 'shore story' that Purcelle was trying to take over Dn, and steal the copyrights from him. And, of course, that Purcelle was a Communist and it was a Communist plot to gain control of Dn/Scn.

It is now January 1973.

I had been co-processing with a fellow Class VIII on the PTS Rundown which was a fabulous rundown for me as I was able to really clean up a lot of areas.

I arrived in LA for the clean up and special rundown. Otto Roos was the Missionaire. The rumors were rampant in the LA area about me – when the word got out that LRH had specifically sent the Mission – people did not know what to think!

BTW get this - it was all done free of charge!

We spent roughly 25 hours doing the clean up – have no idea what took place as I was F/Ning most of the time – mostly because things were going as planned.

There was a lot of weird SO stuff going on – Alex Sibersky and a bunch of SO people had been reging the hell out of people and built a false stat situation based on postulate checks – I wanted no part of this.

I thanked Otto – got back on a plane and flew back to Dallas.

But I knew I still missed my friends and the mission building game.

By this time my finances were getting pretty grim. The lawyers were eating me alive – still we were getting closer to the appeal.

I began to restore my comm lines in Scio – I still had a lot of friends – Yvonne Gillham (Jentzsch) was great during this period – Yvonne had gone through a similar situation herself many years earlier.

It was finally completed successfully November 10th, 2008.

Still makin PT overts!? - Using 'other technology' and depriving the org of GI! - That aneurism would have been worth at least 4 intensives!

I consider this thread and your story here one of the most important and interesting.

And I've always been wondering about CoS's stance about medicine.. Obviously the 'doctor programme' works very well and is 'correct technology' as per stats.. I even recall Hubbard (almost) admitting that somewhere..

What I concluded was that scientologists apply 'conditions'. Ie. That you are seen as being in lower conditions being sick. Which then doesn't justify that you have a large and expensive technology like medical science and hospitals to help you... And that of course makes the intire 'doctor programme' out exhange and out ethics..

It was one consideration I had 25 years ago, that made me an ex-scientologist. Back then, I survived bacause I too needed the surgeons and their very good technology!
