An aspect of disconnection

I recall an old HCOB - How help became betrayal - and this is an example:

Have you ever considered, how a child or parent or spouse must feel when they, being true believers, mention a non-optimum comment they heard, and tell it to the auditor in session, thinking they have done the right thing, have relieved themselves of the withhold, and watch that person (parent, spouse, child) who made the comment get hauled in to ethics, and get declared? To be told they have to now disconnect from them? To know that they were the instruments, the unwitting cause, of the disconnection?

What is it like, to realize that you just destroyed a loving relationship you have had for years? That you, in your idealistic belief in Scientology, and it's lofty goals, drove a stake through your future happiness with that person?

It's not just bad for the disconnected person - but the disconnector as well. Sadly, they justify it, and walk away. Such a cruel religion.

Something I forgot - the justifier - you have lived before, and you are an immortal thetan, and you have had trillions of parents, children, spouses, so what does it matter if you disconnect, is in itself a heartless philosophy. The idea, like the song, we are but dust in the wind, is an anathema to all social behavior, when it minimizes the value of our lives.

It's interesting, how it runs in the face of the concept - God is love, for if we are truly Gods, that have fallen on bad times, and have forgotten who we are, don't we all need a little love in our lives? And really, it flies in the face of the goal of becoming full OT - if you disconnect from your loved ones, and destroy your second dynamic, how can you ever be cause over all your dynamics? How can you be an OT if one dynamic is permanently in the toilet?

A "church" or "belief" should be about BUILDING relationships. About building bridges... about building HOPE for the future.

Why cross a bridge alone and leave the ones that you love behind you?
Why reach for an end that has you climbing on the backs of others?
Why reach an end that has destroyed so many ahead of you and behind?
Why reach to save a world where no one can speak freely, act freely and believe freely?

Why?

Because in order for the delusion to be accepted and believed, Scientology must eliminate all sources of doubt.

The frailty of Scientology is at its greatest in the early stages.

Once the individual has surrendered their critical thinking to Scientology it becomes much more difficult to disengage from it.

Disconnection is a vital element and manifestation of Scientology's control over the individual.

Without it, Scientology could not exist.

Scientologists are among the least free people on this planet.
