Over the years some weird things were rumored.
I remember down on 8 th st in LA at CC gays were knowingly recruited into the SO along with homeless people. Made no sense on the surface & later proved to be, uh, problematic.
A friend of mine said a bunch of SO recruits on the EPF were real happy until somebody found out that every night they were having huge sex orgies in their quarters. Circa early 70's.
Things were somewhat different back in the early 70's some girls danced for bridge money. At least one was a hooker to pay for her bridge.
Knowing about 3 somes wasn't secret & pretty much nobody cared.
Heard of nude comm course but not where I was - LOL !
Wasn't any wilder than anywhere else during that time.
But, out in the real world I've seen stuff that went out into the " incredible " band not like finding a parking place or turning a hurricane away from Clearwater & devasting somewhere else.
The onlt really "incredible" thing I can attribute to scientology is that - for so damn long - I bought it.
