I'm inclined to give Mike and Marty a lot of slack. They are trying to rescue scn, a goal I share.
In fact they have given out a quite a bit of info over the years. Its not suprising that they focus on the problems with DM rather than LRH. The target audience can't handle the truth. Not yet anyways.
In the battle with DM for them to give out info detrimental to themselves is to give DM ammo to use against them. Against the bucks and l;awyers and PIs DM is throwing at them I'd say its a good idea for them to be cautious.

While you were / are giving slack, the Cof$ was enjoying a most likely criminally obtained tax advantage in the U.S. allowing D.M. to build a billion dollar war chest to purchase political influence, to fund the harassment and fair gaming of enemies real or imagined and indulging his own megalomania and delusions of grandeur. While you were / are giving slack my own daughter, still in the church, is disaffected from me because the truth has not come out and torn down the walls of obfuscation Hubbard created. Which DM continues for his own totalitarian power trip, a collection of overts of magnitude for which he has the perfect justification - he's just carrying out the wishes - the tech and policies of Hubbard. While you are giving slack, how many others are suffering or dying alone, how many families are being torn apart, how many financial hardships are being perpetrated on true believers, old and new.
I see what Spin and Marty are doing as more like fiddling while Rome burns.
What needs to happen to Scientology is not to be rescued but to be broken down piecemeal into its various components and those valid methodologies be credited to their proper sources and valued or not in that perspective (example: The first reference to the use of this instrument [psycho-galvanometer or e-meter] in psychoanalytic research is in the book by Carl Gustav Jung, Studies in Word Analysis, published in 1906. So Spin and Marty apparently place whatever their agenda is ahead of and more important than any suffering or abuse of anyone receiving same from the DM regime. In short, they lack anything remotely approaching Tone 40 in using what they know to bring down the utterly corrupt regime of the savage little beast and couldn't care less for those harmed.
