Yes, it's Jim Little. The FB link forwards to http://networkedblogs.com/9T2Mt. You can always view pages you're unsure about via a proxy. Just Google "proxies" and pick one off a list where you can just drop a URL in on the front page without registering or anything.

My youngest sister, Marcy Sargeant, was ED there for years. After 35 years in the SO, she was offloaded with medical bills, while ED Albuquerque. She is fine now, but still "in" as public. CofS trashes people after using them up.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I recall Marcy Sargent from my days as a public at ASHO back in the 80's. I'd see her in the halls, usually talking with staff. She was strikingly beautiful in a natural way, even in the drab SO uniform she wore.

Glad she's is out and feeling better. Theres nothing like a taste of real life to keep one out of the SO. Hope she never goes back.

Please advise your sister to pay attention to her Social Security (FICA) contributions . . . this is imperative.

Case in point, Helen Geltman, like all Scn staff did the religious worker thing of not paying any taxes, including SS deductions.

Then when she was old and ill and unable to really work she could not get social security payments from the government nor any medicare.

She died a painful beggar.

The scene is that all those SO crew who get dumped out after decades of service actually then get treated a derelicts in society as well.

So, one way or the other one has to plan for and put in place the financial resource for one's old age.
