Are SP declares still happening or not? A/o Know?

Hi, just wondering as I've just heard one of my friends got handled in ethics. They called me to say what happened and how it happened and tearful, but their family is still in and they are still "wanting" the tech. I told them I totally understood, I'm not upset with them and still love them and they should do what is right for them, but they understand how I feel, that it's not right that friends should be disconnected from each other for having a different viewpoint, etc. etc. They're "waiting" to find out if there will be a declare, and meantime "I should just not talk about scnt". :duh: I read on the board in several places that people hadn't officially received declares. Has anyone recently gotten one?

ml to all,

Not sure about now but I would imagine they are. I was declared SP officially 2 years ago and I still count it among my greatest accomplishments!

Yes they still are and will continue until the movement collapses under its own baggage. Notice that I said "movement" and not corporation.

ok, just curious, because I thought I read that some people were waiting for one and hadn't gotten them and that the whole procedure seems to be "out" now. If anyone else has any recent info, that would be helpful. I'm kind of not sure what to do or think. I still have some friends in, and guess I'll not be able to comm with them again. They are definitely not ready to "see"! Don't mind about the declare otherwise.

It varies on a case by case, org by org basis. We have yet to see any golden rod on Jason Beghe, for example. Our very own Alanzo has been begging for his declare for several years now. I got my declare earlier this year.....for just showing up at the first anon raid.

So don't hold your breath.

I would suggest at least trying to force the issue a bit with an "If it isn't written it isn't true". It is not that any piece of goldenrod is likely to be fair or honest, but it is even more totalitarian and arbitrary if people get into trouble for not following verbal directions from some ethics officer about a long-term friend.

Where's my declare?

We haven't got ours and we've gotten repayments, and pressed the IAS for the same. We have also been very active in "liberating" our friends in the cofs too, we have even been quite beligerant with OSA, still no declare.

I was disappointed myself because I wanted mine before Alanzo and was going to post it.:bigcry:

They wouldn't let me take a copy of mine out of the org. They called me in just to have me read it, then escorted me out. That was a strange day, as everyone in the org could not look me in the eye anymore.

I have no doubt that SP declares are being issued thick and fast now.

But, they are apparently unwilling to send them out or even post them on org notice boards. Probably to avoid getting sued for all the lies and defamatory stuff on them. Also they don't want what's left of their public to be aware of just how bad the situation is (fat chance!).

I haven't got anything in writing, or even verbally, but I wouldn't be surprised if I had been 'SPified'. I bumped into some Scienos recently and they refused to even acknowledge my presence, let alone talk to me.

I'll see if I can really provoke them over the next few weeks. It would be so great if I could get my own goldenrod. :happydance:

And of course I wouldn't wave it in Alanzo's face. And I certainly wouldn't be tempted to say something like "See, this is what a real critic earns!" :whistling:

Yes, the morale issue of seeing so many declares would be good reason why they are not being broadly published.:D

Exactly!

I postulate an imagined line of reasoning for the non-declares;
How disconcerting it would be to find out that the ratio of Declared plus Undeclared SPs to currently Active Scientologists is approximately 4/1.
Scientologists would have serious trouble wrapping their wits around that particular ratio.

80% of former-scientologists are suppressive?

That means the active scn'ists must be the other 20%!

Isn't it supposed to be the other way round? :D

Same here. And GT got a copy for me and then framed it all pretty. I just need to hang it in my craft room, which I only just realized that I painted Goldenrod. The color is called something else, but that's what it looks like. I must really have an affinity for goldenrod. LOL!!!!

SPecial

SP declare now means one of 2 things:

Stupid Person: You make us look bad and we are ashamed of you. Get out!

Smart Person: You make us feel bad and ashamed of ourselves. Get out!

The former happens if you commit too many overt acts.

The latter happens if you miss too many witholds.

:confused2:

This is horrible, but one of my favorite diversions from post was drifting over to the bulletin board and reading all the golden rod. Oh, the sad tales.

I'd post my Comm Ev findings and reccomendations, but they really filled that thing up with lies and distortions that sought to take me out of public favor.

If they published lies about you that damaged your reputation, don't you have a case for suing?
