Hubbard's M.O.: First he denounces something, then he uses what he has denounced.

This is a clear violation of HCO Policy Letter OF 5 APRIL 1972 PTS Type A Handling:

"There are so many ways to misuse tech and to invalidate and evaluate for others..."

-snip-

Hubbard was the master invalidator and evaluator. His invalidations and evaluations are built into Scientology, although Scientologists can't see them.

An observation by Marty Rathbun before Marty began to backslide:

"...Ron educated his followers on the mechanics intentionally used to control and damage the mind and simultaneously employed by him to do precisely that to his followers. It is diabolical in that the followers having been educated by Ron on the techniques would then never guess they would be used on the followers."

Bingo!

Many years ago, I wrote about Hubbard's confidential instructions to Scientologists that they use "aberrative" and "enemy tactics" on Scientology's enemies, and how Hubbard had, also, secretly, used "aberrative" and "enemy tactics" on Scientologists, and how these tactics had been incorporated into the doctrine of Scientology, and about how Hubbard would often mention "enemy tactics" and, inevitably, present himself as the opponent of those tactics. This assured Scientologists that Hubbard would never use such tactics on them.

Perhaps the single most glaring example of this is Hubbard's secret use, on his own followers, of the ideas and methods of his 1955 hoax "Russian textbook on Psycho-politics."

The "Russian textbook" had been remarkably described in the mid 1960s in the Australian Anderson Report. 22 years later, an examination of this topic was published in the book, 'Messiah or Madman?' and, 14 years after that, an extensive examination was published in the e-book 'Brainwashing Manual Parallels'. Yet, the original piece in the mid 1960s Anderson Report stands out as an example of early and extraordinary insight. (And, by the way, it wasn't by Anderson, but by an unnamed contributor, whose contribution, Anderson, to his credit, recognized.)

One of the earliest to recognize this pattern by Hubbard was Volney Mathison, who, in 1954, wrote, "First he [Hubbard] denounces or 'exposes'... then he uses the very power he has denounced."

Hubbard had a master plan. He knew what he was doing. It was about domination, power and money.

Sadly, there are Scientologists who appear incapable to connecting the dots and "getting it."

"There are so many ways to misuse tech and to invalidate and evaluate for others in a destructive fashion to bring about bypassed charge, ARC breaks and upset that they cannot all be possibly listed. The idea is NOT to do so. Why create trouble for yourself and for your fellow Scientologists, as nothing will have been gained but ill will?" - Ron Hubbard

I feel touched that you bothered to post this Sneaks (genuinely) ... but please, rest assured that Leon is not going to be effective at "handling" any of us whether by using his cult tek for good or bad. Once people fully wake up having hubbards tek rammed at them on such a regular basis is a bit annoying but otherwise ineffective as far as I can tell. I do feel very bad for those still in the process of disentangling their thoughts and hope it doesn't put them off coming here (though I know of a few who are avoiding ESMB currently for that very reason).

Thank-you for caring.

Calling you a "dickhead" is only an Ad Hominem if I use it as an argument against your position in a debate, dickhead. :duh:

While I find the use of the term "dickhead" a highly technical term, I do find it only slight on a personal level
but pointing in the right direction in regards to Leon's argumentations in regards to Dr Whobirds
philosophy and so called "research" and find that the WhoBardian technology does in fact create
"dickheads" standardly and predictably.

I think people like Mr Leon Minus a Pair (of what I don't know?) fail to understand is that this Forum is for EX SCIENTOLOGISTS. :duh:

Maybe he needs some word clearing and some clay?

However, he is really entertaining and demonstrates how scientologists think and act and is one of the reasons why I pop in here now n then.

Thanks mate

Absolutely not! Hubbard turned people into Scientologists. That's a big difference! Being inside Scientology it was very important to have recognised this tiny detail. This little difference made all the difference whether or not you could be brainwashed into believing you were something else than yourself and becoming a Scientologist instead. One hasn't been a Scientologist before. Never heard of it before, right? But now you were supposed to be a Scientologist? All of a sudden! What the fuck! You see the trick? Very clever, isn't it! One would be turning people into something else. Giving them a new (superior) identity, it's marketing, nothing else. Actually rather stupid but people fall for it all the time still now. Think of "fanboys", football etc. Folks crave for identity and will fall for it instead of being just themselves! So obviously Scientolgy was Hubbard's creation and that doesn't mean he would BECOME his creation himself. Was Jesus a Christian, Buddha a Buddhist and Mohamad a Muslim? I don't know. But what I do know is that Commodore never was a Scientologist! :)
I get the distinction but for my money (pun intended) he was a Scio. He died raving about bts.

LOL, hon! I love your sense of humor. Always have. Yes, he was so case free and sooper dooper that he threw tantrums, didn't take care of his body, raved about bts in his shitty little trailer the last year of his life and died with a butt full of Vistaril. Yeah, sign me up.

It's in the PDC's, an early lecture don't remember which one. He said a lot of things I think most Scientologists glossed over or didn't realize what he was saying. Another one in the PDC's was along the lines of: that he didn't live like most people thought he did. Just because he was describing ethics or whatever and his followers assumed he was a paragon of ethics, etc. Obviously decades later now that the data is out, he was not. It's been along time since I've listened to the PDC's but it's in there. A lot of stuff is in there that people ignore.
Yah. I also found a reference where he said he didn't have to do this stuff.

Inasmuch as he would change the tech to suit his needs, and he would say things and not follow them *, I would say no, he wasn't. He did have some belief in the technology though, since he was solo auditing. Was that the same technology he exported to me and thee?

More than once, he proclaims on tapes, he reserves the right to wrap himself around a telephone pole, all in the name of research.

I think, if you looked at him as a squirrel, you would be closer to the truth. He prided himself on developing the tech, and so he would self audit. If I tried to self audit instead of solo audit, I would have been sent straight to the MAA.

BTW self auditing is where the pc invents processes to run on him self. Solo auditing is where you audit your self using standard procedures found in your course materials.

The Pilot is a good example of a self auditor. Ron Hubbard is another.

* by way of example, his technology on the 2nd dynamic, essentially promotes monogamy, yet he was both an adulterer and a bigamist.

Mimsey

So he was an hypocritical Scientologist. Just like his followers. :coolwink:

Lines, right?

Ron already has researched and written much about lines (e.g. keeping entheta off one's lines, flowing CSWs, power & money uplines, et al). So, no need to get all significant and think-think about it!

Ergo, it's not the Scientologists who don't get it, it's you off-Source Squirrels and SPs who don't get it.

As a Scientologist, I fervently believe and follow Ron's scripture to never invalidate or evaluate another. What's true for you is true. However, having said that, I would be remiss to not simply obnose and indicate at this point that you are dramatizing your bank and crimes--and having a psychotic episode.

What definition of "Scientologist" are you guys using? It's not as simple "Is that a chicken (the poultry kind) or isn't it?" Seems like a silly discussion without any agreement on the term.

For background here there have been longer and shorter posts on that topic in the past. By myself and others. I did the longer ones. Heh. If I remember it right, the main topic was how many Scientologists are there in the world, and people went at it hammer and tongs for a good while.

I found it extremely hard to come up with a good definition for "Scientologist," that seems to capture what one is. Lifting a definition out of the Tech Dictionary doesn't work too well, however "on source" that might be. I came up with something that I thought was pretty good . . . but I honestly forget what it is. Possibly it's as simple as someone who's done some auditing and training in Scientology and is familiar with it to some extent, generally thinks well of Hubbard and the subject, makes use of it in his life to some appreciable extent, and genuinely considers himself a Scientologist, whatever anyone else thinks.

Anyway, I'll just leave it at that for now as I don't want to spend an hour on it again.

:carryon:

Oh, by my definition above, would Hubbard count?

Auditing and training? Check.
Familiar? Check.
Thinks well of [self]? _____
Thinks well of the subject? _____
Makes appreciable use of Scn? _____
Considers self a Scio? Unlikely.

Actually without drawing anything I already see things.

Are those body thetans or something?

I am sorry I can't help you answer that. Scientologists don't believe in inval/eval, so we never tell others the answer to a question. We believe that a being has to work out what is real to them in their own universe.

You should learn more about Scientology because it could really help you. L. Ron Hubbard scientifically researched and found the answers to all questions.

I had (facial) shingles around 1994, and went to the Shaw Health Center on Fountain Ave, just down the road from the Complex. Denk practiced at Shaw's. I saw Megan Shields, who diagnosed it more or less the second I walked in the door as the spot pattern is very distinctive, in this case following one branch of the trigeminal nerve. I assume Denk was as familiar with it, although I wouldn't expect his other attendants to be.

Paul

One would expect Denk to be familiar with Shingles, but Denk might not have seen them. I heard that Denk was being handled by DM, and they spent a lotta time in Las Vegas. Denk could've been handled just like any SO Staff, did what he was told to do, and shut the fuck up. He disappeared, yeah? Maybe Denk is in a "hole".
I dunno. I had Shingles on my L side. I still have scars, and I have the lingering Nerve damage and pain, whatever it's called. Mine was diagnosed when I went to my Doctor, but by the time i went in , the Shingles were well underway. A terrible, miserable experience, and I urge any one of you who has not had a Shingles vaccination, to get one ASAP.

def.

Scientologist -noun: 1. A person who imagines that Scientology is capable of making them "more cause" on an imaginary spectrum of ability that culminates in "total cause over life". 2. A Pre-Ex, a term idiomatically analogous to the relationship between a "Pre-Clear" and a "Clear". A Pre-Ex is a person who participates in Hubbard's theories/experiments while simultaneously attempting to "rise above" facts--in the fading hope that Hubbard's tech will one day start to work. All this takes place before having accepted the facts and blown; hence, Pre-Ex(Scientologist).

Daddy had it too - it dammaged a nerve connected to the eye..he was miserable and it was very painful. (all neuropathies are painfull - no efficient med to relieve pain)
I twice had trigeminal neuralgia for 3-4 weeks and couldn't stand it anymore....I would have put my head in the freezer and would agree to take a ticket to target two
I can't imagine shingles pain....

It is too very common among people aged over 50 and is often diagnosed by the family doctor.
So any physician should be competent in spotting quickly this disease and make such diagnostic

If Ron would have such painfull episode wouldn't people in his entourage have known it...I doubt Hisself would stand such pain without screaming at people to handle it....

The available vaccine can be given to people over 50

I'm sorry to hear about your Shingles after-effects. Yeah, the nerve pain is miserable, but at least mine disappeared after a couple of weeks.

Denk died in 2004. See http://kiwianon.com/forums/index.php?topic=1307.0.
