Aussie media going ballistic!

I've never seen media on Scn in Oz, like we've had these last few days.

We didn't get any media on the St Pete's Times articles, and we haven't had that much to speak of this year.

This week though, while we didn't get the ABC Nightline pgm, we've had articles in major newspapers on the suicide inquest in Brisbane, the Haggis story and the fraud convictions in France. As well as those, we've had tv coverage with segments in the two major morning shows, and one of the two major prime time evening current affair pgms, all of which get aired around the country.

It's now after Thursday 2pm here. In a couple of hours, the CofS will be the topic of discussion on "triplej" (a popular national radio station), and hopefully we'll have another "surprise" in the morning, and continuing on from there - OSA ANZO has another busy week ahead of them it seems.

The convictions in France seem to be a big issue planet wide. The media seems keen for any and all info, and in Oz and NZ we're giving it to them. For those who have been thinking of contacting the media, now is the time to do it, because they're all ears - "strike while the iron is hot" as they say.

Will keep ya informed on what's going on here, and here's to an on-going increase of media in all our "Conts"!

All I did was click on link provided. Then chose one of the three options by the Thursday option:

Real
Windows
MP3

Real will open in Real Player if you have it on your computer. I checked it and it works. If you don't, Real Player is a free download easily available.

Windows will open in the same window as the link using, I think, software from the radio web site - I used this option to listen to the interview and it worked fine.

The MP3 option allows you to download the radio interview into your own computer. I checked this and it is working fine.

Sing out if this doesn't work for you and maybe someone with more geek knowledge than me can to do their geek thing.

Yes, well she didn't actually lie... she, rather cleverly, changed the context of the question and then answered the altered question.

She took it in the context of "Are scn'ists made to disconnect from non-scn'ists?" (an opening which Larry fed her) and answered that inapplicable question.

That, of course, is not the context of the Haggis statement on disconnection nor the issue at hand.

The misdirecting answer was "accepted" by the misdirected interviewer.

Awesome video, thanks for posting it. Disconnection exists; ask anyone who has most of their family not speaking to them because they are expelled and declared how it feels, exactly. It occured to me that many people in Anzo may not have seen the original 3 part St. Petersburg Times newspaper presentation that started this current feeding frenzy. Here it is:

The St. Petersburg Times is set to run another blockbuster story this Sunday. DM beating people up is not the end, it's the tip of the iceberg. Did you notice, from the Australian press interest, that this is right on their scandal wavelength? What is coming next is scandal, scandal, scandal...

That is SUCH great news Carmel! Thanks for sharing! I even had a co-worker e-mail me about the France case (I tell ALL my non-scilon friends that scn is a cult and talk to anyone who has questions all the time, I spoke to my day care provider a few weeks ago! lol).
