Hi folks,
I am former cosmod staff, 1975-83. I would love to communicate with others like me. Way too long a story for the first post but I will be more forthcoming in the future.

Welcome! Get comfortable.

I hope we're not that scary. LOL

Not hardly scary, thanks. I decided to come out because I found on a search engine that my former lover in Scn had died. The same search engine led me to former friends in Scn. The lack of compassion and information I got from them was appalling. Oh well, that's what I get for being such a raging suppressive.

Yo, :welcome2: SP since 83? What took you so long to get here?

For a long time I thought I would go back. Now I know I won't ever. In the early 2000s I got up the nerve to look at OTIII. I got sick alright..... when I realized the magnitude of the fraud I literally threw up. And I do mean literally literally. Bodyfuckingthetans. GFY LRH. Then the anonymous thing almost had me reaching out but I didn't. It took a significant death of someone I really loved to bring me here.

Wow. I understand and sorry to hear that this is the way you had to find out. I don't think the word compassion ever gets word cleared in Scientology. Again, so sorry. :(

This is what I was told by the former HAS of our mission: she died ABOUT 15 years ago. She was on OTVIII and spiritually in good shape. SHE WAS 45 YEARS OLD AND DIED OF CANCER. What a crock of shit. Couldn't even give me the year.

I'm so sorry! :sadsigh: Unfortunately, she is not alone in being an OT and unceremoniously "dropping her body' at such a young age. It seems far too common in such a small, select few to be considered random.

Yeah, I'm not even buying that "spiritually healthy, oops I'm dead" bullshit. DMSMH says auditing increases longevity. Her parents out-lived her. I am 100% certain that her cancer was treatable if she had seen a real doctor.

Sorry to hear that. Cancer seems to claim a disproportionate number of scientologists. Sad.

But welcome, look forward to your story......

Thanks folks! I really would like to hear from any exes from Sac, Delphi or SF, so if you know any, shoot them my way.

Scientologists tend be under chronic long-term stress, which is not good for your health.

Yes, Enthetan, I hadn't considered that! Of course. I had 8 years of DAILY massive stress coming from all directions. Must have-can't have. All day long. Every day. Year after year.
