Bespectacled Clears?

I audited L. Ron Hubbard probably for the longest period of time that anybody has [sic] ever audited him. He had a goal to go exterior. After one session he thought that he might have gone exterior and he told me and described what he saw outside the room; which was a moonlit night with the trees and stars and so on. He wanted to go outside, wanted me to come with him go outside and see if that's what he saw, if it was there. We went outside--it was pitch black and [we] couldn't see anything. So, the result was we're still going to work on him going exterior. I'm not telling you this to say that nobody else has gone exterior because I know people have. But if you haven't gone exterior or if you haven't gone exterior with full perception I want you to know that you're not the only one.

Paul

Ok then. My bad. Shit! If anyone other than an LRH auditor had made that statement, I would not believe it. But neither would I have thought that David Mayo would divulge Session information.

If you want better vision just get laser surgery it's cheaper than Scientology and the results are more permanent

Works so well they don't have to avoid little things like clinical trials

Once again wogs tech beats Scientology

I had Cataract surgery about 10 years ago, and haven't worn glasses since.

Well, we know that there are no clears as Hubbard described them in DMSMH. But, to give the devil his due, I don't think he actually promised that a clear would not wear glasses. He implies that it's possible for a clear to give up his glasses, but doesn't make any guarantees (note bold).

Who was this "LRH biographer" you mention?

Who were these "people declared clear by LRH"? The only person I know of that he ever declared clear was Sonya Bianca at that Shrine Auditorium fiasco in 1950.
The biographer's first name is Norman, I do not know his last name. In the early 1990a a group of people were given an assignment to write an LRH biography. They were supposed to cover different periods of Hubbard's life (I haven't met the other biographers) Norman was supposed to cover the period staring in 1950 and ending in 1960.

Their work never came to fruition; I do not know the exact reason of the failure, but I remember Norman's complains of not getting enough material to finish his assignment. Especially he was told that the Church has the Dianetics case studies conducted in early 1950, but he couldn't find this "very important" data.

I think the main problem is that Hubbard didn't know what he was talking about.

Five years after Dianetics came out he published Dianetics 55 in which he says the state of Clear as discussed in Dianetics is now known as the state of Thetan Exterior in Scientology.

Then in 1964 he came out with the Book Of Case Remedies in which he says the state of Clear is simply "a gradient up to Homo Novis" but beyond that is the state of OT. He just kept changing it because he was full of BS.

People who knew him have said he always wanted to experience being exterior but he never achieved it. So how come he used to talk about it as though he was an expert? Because he was a blowhard.

blowhard: A very boastful and talkative person.

While it was always the case that old tubs knew not of what he spoke - back then we swallowed every word & threw money at him to tell us more.

Looking back from HERE , how can it make it any difference NOW who we thought did or didn't go " exterior " back THEN ?

How can LRH say that no one leaves without being fully and stably exterior after doing L12? This is still on the L's promo to this day.

there's some lecture where hubbard talked about some invisible but spiritually visible gold disks on our eyes? don't remember much else about that lecture... anyone remember or have that one? i know he mentioned anchor points are gold balls too, and after some process he made up they had a barrel full of glasses or something like that?

that's pretty funny he had trouble going exterior in session yet brags in lectures about going to venus to ride trains like it's an every day thing for him

still amazes me that when i was in the mindset these little outrageous off the cuff comments didn't set off loud alarms in my head but you want to believe in his fairy tales so much you go blind to reality

exteriorization, that's another ability that wogs are better at, you can buy a drone with a camera and pov goggles pretty cheap now, they're also cheaper than scientology and more reliable, they even work if there's suppressive people invalidating them, they're flying over the base looking for shelly and uploading miscaviges secrets to youtube!

i guess they're just audio and visual no smell or touch/taste etc. but whatever

i met many wogs that got laser surgery or bought drones, they are more able than scientologists and they can communicate on any subject

i never met a scientologist whose eyes improved or was able to provably be exterior

Yes, it's from a taped lecture on the 16th ACC that is being promoted right now online by Scientology websites. They are only charging $475 to hear Ron's voice. lol

Yes, that's right total freedom seekers! The Church of Scientology is spiritually dedicated to ensuring you have this priceless information!

"Eyesight
—a thetan does not look through his eyes but through gold discs in front of them, and what the deterioration of eyesight has to do with confront;"

The compact disc with Hubbard's lies costs approximately 1 dollar to manufacture; let's now do the math. Forty discs cost est. $40 to manufacture. $475 minus $40.00 = $435 profit! Whoa! With that outrageous 12 times markup, I'm beginning to see what Hubbard really had in mind when he blabbed all that nonsense about gold discs! lol

In case anyone thinks I am kidding that they really are selling this pseudo scientific bullshit for $475, I've cut/pasted a section of the ad below. . .

[h=1]16TH AMERICAN ACCCONTROL, COMMUNICATION & HAVINGNESS
[/h]Despite the heated public controversy over radiation fallout, what none of the “experts” could have revealed was its whole track history. And, consequently, none could have identified its real menace. As L. Ron Hubbard revealed, “‘You can’t see it. You can’t feel it. You can’t…’ These are the engramic phrases behind the whole effect of radiation.” So immediately after the Anti‑Radiation Congress, where he warned that the rising radiation count paralleled the increasing difficulty of cases, he convened the 16th American ACC to teach, with urgency, an auditing solution of truly historic dimensions: “In this ACC we’re going to cover Communication, Control and Havingness.

That’s the total of our coverage.” Here, then, are the lectures where Mr. Hubbard introduced—anddemonstrated in a live auditing session—a technical breakthrough ranking in importance with ARC and removing the barriers to broad scale clearing. Destined to stand as a fundamental processing regimen on the road to Clear and OT, CCH marked a new depth of undercut in providing the entrance point to every case. Moreover, L. Ron Hubbard was about to do the same for auditorswith a series of revolutionary training procedures drawn from the very fabric of CCH discoveries.

MORE ABOUT 16TH AMERICAN ACC[/h]The goal of this procedure is to take the preclear from as far south as preclears can be reached, straight on through as far north as a preclear can be pushed. Therefore the breadth of Procedure CCH is much greater than any other auditing procedure ever released. —L. Ron Hubbard

As 1957 broke, tensions between the Western powers and the Soviet Union showed no signs of abating. The Soviet defense minister had announced his government’s intention to add chemical and biological weapons to Russia’s already massive arsenal of thermonuclear bombs. US President Eisenhower, having called for an increase of American nuclear weaponry in 1956, opened the New Year with an unprecedented declaration to Congress of his intent to use whatever means he deemed necessary—including military force—to prevent communist expansion in the Middle East. While the US Atomic Energy Commission continued to insist that nuclear weapons tests conducted in the United States posed no threat to Americans.

If the dangers of radiation were not understood, they were certainly a topic of vigorous discussion. A National Geographic article of the period featuring an eyewitness account of a nuclear explosion in the Nevada desert reported, “Within 24 hours this cloud, carrying its invisible spitting radioactive particles, was to be tracked across Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and into southern Ohio.”

Invisible those particles certainly were, but as L. Ron Hubbard’s researches had revealed, their very invisibility is what constituted their menace. Because what none of those government experts could have explained was the whole track history of radiation. As Mr. Hubbard revealed:

“‘You can’t see it. You can’t feel it. You can’t …’ These are the engramic phrases behind the whole effect of radiation.”

Furthermore, as to the effect on a being:
“Now, what happens, then, as a person loses future? He certainly gets crowded in the present. He says, ‘There is no time’ and boy, that is awfully close to being true. Therefore his havingness is tremendously reduced. Therefore he gets no benefit from present time, even if he got into it. Why? Because he has no future!

“And the whole subject of radiation is bound up in this idea of no future.”

Responding to a threat of truly global urgency, in the closing days of December 1956 L. Ron Hubbard had summonsed the Anti-Radiation Congress, in which he alerted Scientologists that parallel with the increasing difficulty of cases since 1950 had been the rising radiation count in the atmosphere. Then, right on the heels of that Congress, on 2 January 1957, he launched into remedial action of equal urgency—specifically, the 16th American Advanced Clinical Course, held at the Founding Church of Scientology, 1812 19th Street, Washington, DC.
And whereas Mr. Hubbard’s primary focus had previously been on developing processes that auditors other than himself could apply to crack cases, he had now redoubled his concentration on reaching even deeper into cases themselves.

The result was a breakthrough whose importance, then and in all that followed, can hardly be overstated.

For as he said:

“So we have found the entrance point to a case and that is havingness. And we have found how to get it across to the person and that is by control and communication—thus CCH.”

It was a discovery whose ramifications extended far beyond Earth 1957. For if Mr. Hubbard’s researches had been driven in part by a need to accelerate Scientology expansion in the face of a possible holocaust, what he now unveiled was an auditing breakthrough of staggering implications—as those CCHs would soon become a crucial component of Clearing Procedure and take their place thereafter as a fundamental series of processes enabling auditors from New York to Tokyo to move preclears up towards Operating Thetan.

While running alongside these advances, he presented a host of related developments to remedy the preclear’s ability to confront and as-is, including:

  • Ability—how a preclear’s ability is always present, and the auditor is increasing their capacity to demonstrate it;
  • Obnosis—its definition and mechanics, the role of observation in communication and the auditor’s role in coaxing the preclear to confront what is there to confront;
  • Good Control—what it is, how to achieve it and why it is integral to the recovery of the preclear;
  • Reality Scale—how it works, its relationship to havingness and a detailed description of the manifestations of each point on the scale;
  • Eyesight—a thetan does not look through his eyes but through gold discs in front of them, and what the deterioration of eyesight has to do with confront;
  • The Anatomy of Traps—their relation to a willingness to duplicate and confront;
  • Overt Act–Motivator Sequence—its underlying theory and how it follows Newton’s laws of motion;
  • Beingness—how the road to beingness is an increasing ability to control the body.

I couldn't resist one more comment on that last post which had the Scientology promo piece to sell Hubbard's audio lectures.

I could start an entire thread on just that--the COPYWRITING insanity of Scientology's bold braggadocio & bullshit!

Virtually every single sentence is a complete lie. The rest is foolishly amateurish efforts to create rhetorical flourishes, which when analyzed don't even mean anything! LOL. Try this one for example:

"While running alongside these advances, he presented a host of related developments to remedy the preclear’s ability to confront and as-is, including..." --snipped--

What the hell does "...while running alongside these advances" even mean? LOL

The supposed "developments" were supposed to "remedy the preclear's ability to confront". One small problem with that too. If any Scientologist has their ability to confront remedied, they would immediately be able to confront the fact that "Operating Thetan" and "The Bridge to Total Freedom" are an outrageously expensive, destructive and ridiculous hoax.

This thread is very interesting for me because it provides the data that I previously didn't have. If I knew right from the start that being a Clear doesn't guarantee 20/20 eye vision, I wouldn't have had any interest in Scientology.

I learned a hard way that Dianetics is a pseudo-Science. Shortly after being booted out of Sea Org I begun Dianetics sessions of my WOG friends. Since I was at the bottom of the Bridge Chart, Scientologists questioned my auditor skills.

I based my auditing on Volumes I and II of Dianetics Series. In Book 1 Hubbard gave a long list of the illnesses that Dianetics "can cure"; the Clears, he wrote, are free from the maladies such as poor eye vision, kidney stones, high blood pressure, MS, paralysis, etc,.

After more than 500 hours of auditing of my friends I realized that the Dianetics shit doesn't work, which prompted me to leave CoS.

Hadn't heard that one. Not SPs or Out-Tech but radiation is the reason for failure since 1950.
