All too true AND they sign a "billion year contract" to join ... BUT
ever ask yourself about the Society of Jesus (aka Soldiers of Christ, Footsoldiers of the Pope) and where Hubbard may have received his inspiration?

Throw in a bit of the bodhisattva vow along with LRH's fondness for sailor suits and a voila ...

That's not the wierdest thing.

Consider them a cloistered order, the upper ranks a definded hierechy, the lower ranks a classification of experience, the ribbons letters of achievement.

The wierdest thing is the trademarking of everything that has anything to do with it. Is there ANY organization/company that has trademarked the NAMES OF IT'S DIVISIONS (EG Hubbard Communication Office)?

How many trademarks and service marks has it registered? For an organization of how many? How many trademarks and service marks are owned by ANY other religious institution?
