This is how blind OSA is in its devotion to attacking its "enemies" at any cost.
They march Taryn out in front of the cameras to say all these terrible things about Mike. Fine, that's normal for them.
But instead of making the attacks targeted in a realistic way, they overcompensate and give Taryn (and Cathy) a script about how Mike has ALWAYS been a bad, terrible, evil person and father. They paint Mike as a baby-shaking, child-beating, wife-abusing monster.
They are seemingly oblivious to the fact that if all of this were true, it would be a TERRIBLE reflection on David Miscavige personally. It would be a terrible reflection on the culture of the Sea Org. It would be a terrible reflection on Miscavige’s management abilities. It would be a terrible reflection on the internal ethics & justice procedures of the Sea Org. It would be a terrible reflection on Miscavige’s personal tolerance for domestic and child abuse.
Keep in mind, Taryn was BORN into the Sea Org. Cathy and Mike only divorced AFTER he escaped in London. Taryn & Cathy are both still in the Sea Org. Mike was on the Board of Directors of the C of S International. Even on the day he escaped Mike was a representative of International Management, if not the actual International Spokesperson (I can’t recall). Mike had worked with DM since they were teenagers (or close to it). Mike had been regularly promoted up the ranks over the decades to the absolute highest levels of SCN management.
“Second in Command” can be defined in a number of different ways when it comes to International Management, but when Mike held the post of CO CMO INT, that’s one of the ways someone could define “Second in Command” of all of Scientology.
They can’t paint Mike as a life-long terrible, evil guy without spilling karma juice all over themselves, and yet they do it anyway.
These clowns think that the country is so embroiled in the ME TOO / TIMES UP movement that all they have to do is scream “ABUSER!!!” and Disney will just run for the hills and be shamed into firing Mike.
It is so truly laughable in its absurdity. This is real amateur shit we’re watching here. But it’s the best they’ve got!!
That should be its own lesson right there. These guys have NOTHING. They are sinking fast and there’s nothing they can do about it.
