If you read the Anderson report fom 1965 you'd never believe that the cult is still operating in Oz. Even worse, they got tax exemption in the 80s. In the US they commit the largest government infiltration ever, but years later they get tax exemption.

Hubbard turned this organisation into something so vile, hostile, vengeful and paranoid, that even governments were mostly unwilling to slay the beast. That's really something to be proud of...

It's easy. There's one thing that lrh said which still works. "Flood them with paperwork." Even a bureaucratic mountain like a government will eventually cave-in under the weight of scn paper-work.

Forget about the carbon crisis. Let's start a "Save the Trees" campaign based on closing down scn...

OSA preps their people to lie under oath and also hid the truth of what their organizations do.

And their thugs and PIs intimidate people - including politicans and judges, etc into submission.

Scientology is far far more ruthless than most people can begin to imagine.

I sometimes think that opposing it actually strengthens it.

I am NOT saying to embrace it.

Rather, I say expose it instead of oppose it.

The one thing that makes it shrivel and run is exposure...staff and public have to draw the blinds and such when anonymous shows up.

However, legislation is fiercely confronted by the cult and actually bolsters the group for the "shoulder to shoulder" effort to clear the mudball, yadda, yadda...

It's kinda like that old kids' tale of The North Wind and the Sun where the exposure of the sun has the guy take his coat off while the opposing wind made the guy grasp his coat the tighter.

It's these kinds of declassified projects that actually pump strength into Scientology - they'll see this and "realize" all along that Hubtub was for real about the evils of SPs and their governments (not knowing that Hubbard created his own enemies galore).

The internet and exposure of TRUTHFUL documentation of Scientology activities and Hubbard do much more damage than anything else - just like the exposure of this declassified project will, IMHO, invigorate Scientology the same exposure of Scientology and Hubbard projects invigorate the cult's demise, IMHO.

This is quite odd as the earlier 1968 ban of those getting student
visa's to study scn in the UK commented on the breaking up of families and much else.

The John Foster QC report, although not sympathetic to scientology at all, had stated that legeslation against scn was not OK legally,
and ended the discrimination of scientologists arriving to the UK.

I believe I still have a copy and will try to dig it up.

However it supports the old saying that even if you are paranoid,
it don't mean that they aren't out to get you!

Far better than secret meetings of polititians, use the police and courts. Of course difficult. But the former failed.

Seems the current climate is that the latter will be happening even more than previously. All over the place.
