What's new

Do you still believe in your own past lives?

Off-planet. :)

Not necessarily a joke. I've wondered about that too.

I balances out quite nicely, doesn't it? The population is booming here with more thetans turning up needing bodies while in other parts of other galaxies the interstellar wars are depriving thetans of available bodies.

Actually, I don't believe in that. The truth is that thetans are being dumped here in the sea in ice cubes after being gotten rid off from other parts of this galaxy and nearby galaxies. They ice-cube ya and throw you into the sea someplace.

The aggravation is they sometimes forget dry vermouth. I mean, at least wave it over the damn glass, as a courtesy.

Then there is the issue of one being have many identities and bodies and not knowing it.

Oh yeah, I've been into that one. How cool to be able to hook up all the viewpoints and fileshare. Anyone got a process that enables that ability?

Everyone wants God's powers. But noone wants his job. :coolwink:

I'll take the job. All I have to do is levitate a school full of primary school children during an earthquake in Turkey or somewhere where you know the roof will collapse on them and then bring it gently down to ground after the quake is over. Then spell into the clouds in the local language "This school saved, courtesy of God". Then all the people will worship me and if I can't be arsed to save their own children in another earthquake then they will blame themselves.

Or.. OR.. quietly avert the quake with no recognition or thanks or admiration.

But that would be a kind, cool and just God. What fun would that be?

I'M GOD! You fucking assholes! Don't fucking forget it!

Yeeeeeaaaah. About that, God.

Re: past lives

while I was 'in' i was fascinated by the subject of past-lives, and knew a few members who claimed to know about them.
I had to be honest with myself and admit that I didn't have any recollection, but I did believe that it would come with more auditing.
That was 30 years ago, and now what do I believe?

I would say that the Buddhists seem pretty wise with their belief in reincarnation, plus the fact that it is one of the oldest religions about, so I would say 'yes' I do believe we are spiritual beings and can go back into past-lives. I dont think they are conmen like Hubbard.
I know a hypnotist from youtube who does past-life regression, but have not experienced it.

Its like the 'OT phenomena' in $cientology, you never actually get to experience these things, you only read about them in books and glossy magazines.
It's the hype and PR about these the Cult puts out that gets us caught in this 'trap'.

I did have what I termed "recalls", but they could just as easily have been fabrications, imaginations, old movie scenes, etc. It doesn't matter, to me. If the imagery is charged and influential in my understanding or worldview, then I take it up. I don't care what the source is/was. I care what it is connected to, now, and what "triggered" it.

There is absolutely NO PROOF of pastlives and besides that - the OT levels are all about "you audited your BT's past lives - they were not even yours"!

It does not help me at all live this life - which is the only one I care about. It is bullshit and a SCAM! Just another way Hubbard controls people and extorts money out of them.

The Bridge to No Where - Scientology sucks!

Doesn't really matter if an incident is REAL, if the person's mind is stuck to it.

One of the most traumatic experiences I ever had was watching Alien when I was super young. It wasn't "real", but that didn't matter. It gave me nightmares for ten years or more. All that matters, when dealing with a person who is suffering symptoms of being traumatized, is that they review the traumatic experiences and contextualize them, interpret them, etc., until they have new viewpoints that are more functional IN THEIR OWN VIEW.

Re past lives... find a copy of Hubbard's own "Test of Whole Track Recall - Mission into time"- I believe they no longer print that book. If you can find it, read the last chapter closely.

Synopsis: Hubbard believed he was Cecil Rhodes in his last life (Cecil was a closet gay I believe) And that he hid some gold on some islands.. Some Sea orgers went on a mission, trying to find his hidden loot.. I think Stacy Young was on that one,

anyway, they never found the gold. I couldnt believe slogging through that book with all the build up of anticipation, finally I was going to read confirmation that my god Hubbard could in fact recall his previous lives! and then the let down, reading that last chapter...

I also believe that the drawing in the desert sand at CST Trementina New Mexico site is so that Hubbard would be able to find his gold when he supposedly comes back in his next life.

However informed metaphysicians report that Hubbard will not be coming back for a long time and then perhaps only as a squirrel.

I watched this film called "King kong escapes" I was about 4, and it scared me for years after. I watched it recently and I laughted my head off! It was a man in a gorilla suit and a man in a robot suit and a man in a lizard suit. It was brillient!

Don't really care if there's proof or not as far as anything I believe (or imagine, if you prefer) that I've experienced.

But then again, I'm not selling a cult or myself as a leader, either. Nor am I asking for money.

Though if anyone wants to send me some new sparkly earrings, I prolly wouldn't say no... :coolwink:

This seems to be a concept which many people appear to be unable to comprehend. The fact is that with regard to a trauma, what is important is the fact of the trauma and why. What is not as important is whether the individual's recall of the events of the trauma are in fact an accurate recounting of factual events. Arriving at a personal truth or understanding can be a helpful tool in resolving such things, but they don't necessarily represent an indisputable statement of fact regarding earlier events.

Misunderstandings can often be a source of great trauma despite the fact that they are inherently based on that which is not truly understood or factual.

So misunderstandings never contain facts. And they are not understood ... that's why they call it a misunderstanding. This is amazing.
