Escaped out of Scientology in 2000

Hi all! It's great to finally arrive here

I'm not sure how many of you know my story--but I woke up in 2000, escaped out, was chased across the country, and helped out of the Tampa Airport by the POLICE and Bob Minton, Stacy Brooks, and Jesse Prince, who were all helping me then. It was a wild ride!

I originally wasn't going to speak out---but after "Magoo: Dancing in Boston"
(which you can see on www.xenutv.com )---this OSA guy kept bugging me and finally I realized *I* had a voice, too, and yes! I had much to say.

I'd been telling OSA when I was "in" C of S: "YOU are C R E A T I N G your own enemies"---and finally, out, I looked in the camera and said to DM: "Here I am, dooooooooooood!"

Ok, so they've (OSA) been after me for 7 years, writing lie after lie about me,
breaking into my house (originally), I lost ALL my 30 year friends over night,
and my husband of 27 years----but I gained friends, wonderful people,
around the world. I had NO Idea it could be SO great to be an "SP".

Emma, these emoticons are FABULOUS!!!

Well, I could rattle on forever, but that's it, in a nutshell. They've tried to shut me up, as you can see from my videos on www.xenutv.com that program
has failed, miserably!

Good story.

I admire those like yourself who cannot be boxed up by the CoS doctrine for their whole lives and who have the courage to eventually break away and especially those who speak out freely afterward.

Thanks Free to Shine! Wow--you're Patron Meritorious? Are you serious,
or is that a joke here? If you're serious--I hope you get your $$ back. I got
my IAS money back ..it took some doing, and Pre-Paid legal attorneys, but I not only got IAS but also my BC money from ASHO. (Once I saw how the "Golden Age of Tech" Crap went down, I knew I'd never get to do that course, even though it was a goal, since 1969.)

When I asked for it back, I literally cried,
and told ASHO--of all my experiences in Scientology, my happiest ones were
with them. They were! My first course, HSDC (Dianetics then) and of course the Communications course, which I still think is a good course. Oh well--life rolls on.

Alanzo is the King and he dispenses advice to the crowds on how to huff and puff and get your (posting) stats up.

It does relieve the tension of years of having "stats" as the driving force of the day.

I am just now looking into how Skype conference calls can be done.

However, I was able to talk to Paul Adams on video (who is in the U.K.) earlier today using a webcam and Skype.

I recommend that you get a webcam. I like the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 that I have bought recently (about $100). I just set it on top of my monitor... and, viola... it works just fine after also installing Skype.

Tory... you are a people person and you will love it. If you don't like it I will personally buy your cam back (send it to me) and, thus, give you your money back if you don't like it (On condition that you buy the one that I recommended).

Yes, welcome, good to see you here.

I agree with PG re Skype with a webcam being very useful. I have an earlier incarnation of the webcam he has and it works well. Both it and Skype are easy to install.

It's fine, thanks, Tory. I've read hundreds of posts of yours over the years. The nearest thing I have to an incomplete cycle is that I never met you in person.

I moved back to the UK in 2006 after living in LA for 20 years, so it doesn't look like it will happen soon either. But one day.

In the meantime, there's always my Robot Auditor. (Joke).
