ESMB safeguards Human Rights of former Scientology parishioners

Freedom of Religion is one of the basic Human Rights, along with Free Speech, Freedom from Illegal Search and Freedom of Association to mention a few. These Freedoms have been recognized and stated from time to time in Mans' history, one example being the Bill of Rights appended to the United States Constitution.

ESMB continues that proud tradition of Freedom for its' members, providing a safe haven in which we can communicate freely about our experiences in and out of the Church of Scientology, free from the vindictive paranoiac persecution visited upon some of those who have chosen to discontinue affiliation with the Church and seek Spiritual Relief elsewhere.

In keeping with the theme of the upcoming celebration of a group of people demanding Freedom, the U.S. Independence Day July 4th, Lets' celebrate ESMB and the Freedom it brings us.

And thank Emma and all who keep it here for us. :rose:

Ah, this reminds of something that was recently posted on another thread here on ESMB. Scientology happily and consistently acts to SUPPRESS FREE SPEECH!

Suppressive Act:

Testifying or giving data against Scientology falsely or in generalities or without personal knowledge of the matters to which one testifies.

In real life, in the way that this is applied, the "falsely" is irrelevant. If you stand on a street corner and tell the EXACT TRUTH about what the Church of Scientology did to Paulette Cooper, you will be found guilty of this suppressive act.

The crime is not that you provide information "falsely", but that you give ANY data AGAINST Scientology in any form at all.

This and other Suppressive Acts effectively squash free speech, because a Scientologist will be declared as a Suppressive Person if he or she gives ANY data against Scientology - whether true or not. The "truth" is not relevant at all to what makes any act a Suppressive Act in Scientology.

The ONLY criteria is whether the act functions in a way so as to "suppress, reduce or impede Scientology". That is just as it is stated by Hubbard in the section of the ethics book on Suppressive Acts. No matter what horrible or lousy things the Church of Scientology does, to point them out in ANY way is viewed as "against Scientology".

Yes but if you were very lucky and you were actually listened to and the cops raided the places and arrested DM and his boys and put him on trial, and there was no church left then your declare would be meaningless.
