Wonderful!

Probably not, I think she is just the lawyer hired by the CoS to do a submission against the bill

edit: And Larry Brennan is speaking on the next day! - http://www.aph.gov.au/senate/committee/economics_ctte/public_benefit_test_10/hearings/290610.htm

Larry's Blog: Speaking Out About Organized Scientology

His book is entitled:
The Miscavige Legal Statements: A Study in Perjury, Lies and Misdirection.

"If anyone would like to read my personal history in scientology, see why I left, see why I am now speaking out and see why I am an advocate for victims rights feel free to read the "Author Profile" section of the book, starting on page 72."

"This is written in an attempt to point out and hopefully help end the lies and perjury as well as the dangerous practices, fraud, human trafficking, forced labor and many other abuses carried out by David Miscavige and organized scientology that are hidden behind such lies and perjury. "

Videos of his talk in Hamburg, Germany on September 4, 2008 "Here is a link to a site where some more work was done on the above damaged tape so that my talk in Hamburg is somewhat easier to follow than in using the above four individual links:"

That’s the first time I’ve ever heard the Australian national anthem. Thanks for sharing, AK. It’s really beautiful!

You are welcome, It is really one of the nicer anthems.

One point I hope you round table guys can get across is to (ironically) follow the Hubbard policy of LOOK DON'T LISTEN! The point that churchies are fanatics who literally often put the survival of the church above their own as it represents their own eternal salvation. Possible (and unlikely to be enforced) penalties for perjury are negligible when compared to their eternal salvation.

So 253 sworn affidavits mean *nothing*.

Another example: a local health authority might announce that it will be doing a berthing inspection. The org will move out 9 bunk beds and 8 wardrobes and make the one room legal, also painting and fumigating it. The authorities helpfully don't look anywhere else and the moment they're gone the bunk beds and wardrobes are moved back in.

The answer is to LOOK. Like do a surprise inspection. Depending on CofS-produced "evidence" is not doing due diligence in the circumstances.

I hope these Brave Aussie Bastards are picking out their outfits now.

And I hope they have put a book on top of Mackey's head and are making him walk upright, back and forth, without toppling it. And I hope he is practicing saying "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the Plain."

And another thing - is Scooter taking in his bull horn with him? Because I don't know if that's gonna work in a roundtable discussion, although they may do things differently in the Australian Parliament than elsewhere.

I hope they are meeting and planning, and purchasing breath mints.

Because my god this is awesome.

Ha bloody ha

I hope the NZ authorities know about the "no filing" violations!!

Actually, funny you should say that because after someone notified the authorities about this fact, suddenly their accounts were submitted. Here they are:
http://www.register.charities.govt.....aspx?id=5aa34fb9-cc91-dc11-98a0-0015c5f3da29

Note the increase in solicitor's fees from the previous year (lol)
Note that they don't have any cleaning done (ew!)
Note the 'loss' of $1million to make it look nice and tidy (yeah, right)

Good to see the NZ & the UK Charities commissioners are attending this meeting. I hope they all compare notes.
