Excerpt:
I hear they finished turning the Oak Cove back into a hotel.

And its empty.

The big influx to Flag hasn’t been so big. Now they have too many empty hotel rooms, too many idle Russian housekeepers and maids, and too little income.

So, the solution, as always: put on the squeeze. * * * *

Well, that's been the policy since the 80's IIRC. Only renting to FL residents is allowed. Not those coming in from out of town for services at Flag.

I gather that the following of the policy slipped a bit and Flag is just slamming it back in.

yes, that's true. And why are they slamming it back in?

Because they is hurt'in for new money coming in.

One needs new money in, to pay off past undelivered money on account, that is a liability and may have to be repaid as refunds.

Pyramid scheme.

VSD (value of service delivered) vs money paid on account for future delivery.

Which is why hubbard said to get those people in. Once the service was delivered, then less of a chance for a refund, and also the legal documents signed by a person. In addition to the person writing a success story, which verifies, legally, the tech works, LOL

They slam this in every 2 years like clockwork just like they slam in the "No field auditing for 25miles" policy.... They have been desperate for income for quite a while....

WOW! And just WOW! This is a violation of fair housing due to religious discrimination... which is criminal, I believe, in that it can be punishable by fines or imprisonment or both.

Don't even think and standing between the cult and a dollar by trying to put money into the local economy.

If you even think about it, we will find out when we sec check you, and you will pay dearly.

So you're saying that when we stage our Million Body Thetan March upon Flag this fall all the out of stater's will have to stay at the Flag hotels? That either sounds like a huge conflict of interest or one helluva party!!!:party::party::party::party::party:
Might be a sweet way to finish using up the monies left on our accounts!

As of the 80's, the policy was that if you were getting service at Flag, you MUST stay in Flag Accommodations. It didn't matter if Clearwater was your permanent residence, and you owned a house a block away, you HAD to pay for accommodations at Flag.

This provided an incentive for slow service delivery, and maximizing the time that public had to stay at Flag.

Flag also gets pissy if flag public doesnt eat in their restaurants.

Remember after every meal you had to fill out a survey re food and waiting staff?

I hated having to do service at Flag. I liked AOLA better.

When I was doing OT III at AOLA, I had a simple philosophy: if I don't get service, you don't get a stat from me. They would want me to be on course when I was on the OT levels, but I didn't go for it. I would show up at AOLA after work, and either my folder would be C/S'ed, or it wasn't. If it was C/S'ed, then I did some solo auditing. If it wasn't, my wife and I would go to the movies, or whatever, and AOLA would get no stat from me. My folders were generally ready when I showed up.

At Flag, it was like they were doing you this enormous favor by giving you what you paid for. They most likely thought so, too.

Yeah...and just to be clear the fair housing violations aren't the church of Scientology but rather landlords advertising for renters. You place a property for rent you're subject to fair housing which means no discrimination and religion is specifically named. This leaves these landlords wide open for prosecution... but of course the church couldn't care less.

What complete sleaze and if this doesn't clearly show that this entity is solely a commercial enterprise then nothing else will.

http://www.justice.gov/crt/about/hce/housing_coverage.php

The Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. 3601 et seq., prohibits discrimination by direct providers of housing, such as landlords and real estate companies as well as other entities, such as municipalities, banks or other lending institutions and homeowners insurance companies whose discriminatory practices make housing unavailable to persons because of:

- race or color
- religion
- sex
- national origin
- familial status, or
- disability.

In cases involving discrimination in mortgage loans or home improvement loans, the Department may file suit under both the Fair Housing Act and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. Under the Fair Housing Act, the Department of Justice may bring lawsuits where there is reason to believe that a person or entity is engaged in a "pattern or practice" of discrimination or where a denial of rights to a group of persons raises an issue of general public importance. Where force or threat of force is used to deny or interfere with fair housing rights, the Department of Justice may institute criminal proceedings. The Fair Housing Act also provides procedures for handling individual complaints of discrimination. Individuals who believe that they have been victims of an illegal housing practice, may file a complaint with the Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD] or file their own lawsuit in federal or state court. The Department of Justice brings suits on behalf of individuals based on referrals from HUD.

reminds me of scene from star wars where princess leia says to darth vader "the tighter you squeeze your grip the more systems will slip through your fingers"

for every person who knows auditing and auditor training are good things still active inside CoS there's ten or twenty inactive watching how things develop...

Addendum: list of crime

It has been reported to our attention that many $cientologists are commiting high crimes while renting their property to a $cientologist in Flag Land base area.

Any $cientologist looking for a property in an area of 100 miles , instead of renting room in FH,
is committing a suppressive act on GI lines. This is a counter intention over Flag expansion.

We found that people renting house to such out-ethics people are thus offering temptation to commit such crimes
and take monetary advantages of it. This is located a 1.1 on the tone scale.

One thus shall read, understand clay demo this order
to make sure he\she understand the difference between
both situations and apply it 100% [STRIKE]greed[/STRIKE] source.

1) Where it is a crime to refuse to rent a property to a $cientologist
2) Where it is a crime to accept to rent a property to a $cientologist

Always keep in mind we are fighting for human rights for all human being to live a better life free and happy!

To all Scientologist's everywhere:

Rather than tell you what you can't do - it is much easier if we communicate to you what you are allowed to do.

DONATE MONEY! DONATE MONEY! DONATE MONEY! GIVE US YOUR KIDS FOR SLAVE LABOR!

Anything other than those activities listed above is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and a HIGH CRIME!
