I used to (before this thread) think that I was just wierd because I had this habit: Go to the store for a week and buy 5 packages of meat (3 for freezing), 6 packages of pasta, 2 loaves of bread (1 for freezing), 10 frozen meals, 2 packages of bagels (for freezing), 4 boxes of cereal, 12 yogurts, etc, etc. And then use ONE box of cereal, and of course, the next week, buy 2 more boxes of cereal because I am now low on cereal. Use 2 packages of pasta, and have to buy 3 more because I am now low on pasta, etc, etc etc.
Of course, there were times when I would skip a week or two because I had too much food. And then freak out because I only had 2 weeks of food left in the pantry.
I guess I'm not the only one either ... my needle is now floating too ...
