Clarifying: You can continue to love someone even if they've disconnected from you, but it's not quite the same as it was, is it? You can love anyone, dead or alive. My point was that if you used to share a life with them but now you CAN'T because of disconnection, loving them from afar is a poor substitute for being able to BE WITH them and hold them in your arms.
Well, for one who perhaps feel we ONLY exist as a body, then, yeah, there is a separation - at least of space.
Again, one controls ones own feelings.
To say if another does/does not do so & so you will feel ( insert whatever this & such )- then doesn't that put them in control of you ?
So yes, given all the power to the person who disconnected the option is to be screwed !
But, getting back to loving some one not matter what they do. Well, yes THEN one would be in control of ones own feeling and no be subject to emotional blackmail.
Might seem the end of the world at the moment a relationship breaks up but then something so much finer comes along.
Seems same way with religions - one goes, one comes.
It is good & there is pleanty more of that where that came from !
