Does Sugg realize that his work will likely be edited by a certain angry man who doth sit high on the throne within the fortress?

Also on Tony;s site about the Supreme Court 850 cases 15-20 being taken. Put them in a hat and the CoS has about a 2.3% chance of having theirs hit the stand.

Freedom's new "Contributing Editor" is Peter Gallagher, a journalist, folk singer & activist from the St. Pete area..

I've known Pete for more than 20 years, and this blew me away. He's a crusty old journalist who isn't afraid to speak truth to power, fiercely independent and committed to environmental and indigenous rights issues. He also has strong feelings about what he perceives as overmedication of children in the mental health arena.

I had a li'l conversation with him about this yesterday. He didn't know his name was being used on the masthead - said he hasn't seen it. He did admit to writing a story for Sugg, but not about Scientology. However, it's clear to me (pardon the pun) that someone has worked an existing bad taste he has in his mouth about the St Pete Times (his former employer who did him wrong). He insists that Scn has never done him wrong, that they're no worse than Catholics or big sugar. This makes me sad, because Pete's a good person and I think he's going to get burned here.
One thing's for sure - Pete's independent enough that if his work starts being 'scientologized' he's outta there. Count on it.

Here's a story for him to fiercely and independently investigate: The deliberate and unlawful chopping down of two trees by the Scientology organization, after permission to remove them was denied by the authorities.
If he's committed to environmental rights issues, he should know who he is supporting.
