I think you've misunderstood something, the COB/RTC-Approved identity for an OT Vlll is "Slave-maker" not "slave worker".

No OT8 will accept "Slave" as an identity, it's *so* obviously NOT what they paid for.

Quite a few (idiots) accept Slave-Maker, as that seems to align with their own concepts of "Total Freedom".

Actually I'm not disputing anything about the "slave" component in OT 8, whether it be slave-maker, slave, both identies etc. In my first post on this thread the term "slave worker" was used quite loosley referring to the fact that the OT8 completion these days has to get working immediately in the IAS and whatever groups are there to haul in money and people, do PR work etc. And the success stories these days seem to have an obligatory reference to that, as part of the "packaging" of the OT8- completed person.

You are perfectly correct, db, and I wasn't really refuting what you were saying so much as taking this opportunity to point out something that not too many people know; IMO, OT 8s are required (by the CofS) to carry out the task of Slave-making and they *do*, in fact, work hard at this.

The OT 8s are stripped of a personal sense of identity (if they're stupid enough to buy it) and are assigned a new identity and function by COB/RTC. (I call this Beingness "Slave-maker" for convenience, there might be other and better descriptive terms.)

Very few of them realise that this is what has occurred. Some refuse to be molded in this vein and leave at once or soon thereafter. Most seem blissfully unaware of what they've been coaxed into becoming and the general scn public seems equally unaware.

If you, or anyone, were to review the actual program steps assigned to OT Ambassadors you would probably see how this "new identity" is being utilised by the CofS. Many here would have experienced actions (done by gung-ho OT 8s) that demonstrate the behaviour associated with this identity.

It is the primary reason why I'm no longer a scientologist; I refused to continue playing Master/Slave. I have no use for either identity nor anyone who does.

I understand where you are coming from. While your tech is workable, for me, the process is streamlined via too much wine and cheese. To put my stats into a condition of affluence, in addition to the wine and cheese, half a dozen pickled eggs is a definite case booster. Have some high garlic KimChi and your case gain goes into overdrive as you become a dual threat. Your space will definitely become your own, and even the wogs will be discussing your wonderful case gain.

Environment & the Tone Scale by L. Ron Hubbard



Thus a person, because of the enturbulation of free theta on a temporary basis, can be moved up and down the Tone Scale by his environment. It is this surface manifestation and volatility of misemotion which has masked the nature of free theta. The environment impacting against the individual may, for instance, inflict 1.5 factors on him to such an extent that he becomes momentarily 1.5. If the quantity of free theta remaining to him is great he will rather rapidly unenturbulate and regain his higher position on the Tone Scale. Free theta can only be enturbulated downward, and the case can only be enturbulated downward on the Tone Scale. The 1.1 does not go up to 1.5 because of enturbulation, he goes down to apathy. The apathy case, when his free theta is enturbulated, flashes quickly into pretended death, or may even die, his margin of operation is so slight.



The environment, then, has a marked effect upon the individual, from hour to hour and day to day. An individual who lives in a family which has a chronic tone of 1.1 may himself be potentially a 3.0 and outside the family may manifest the qualities of a 3.0, but in the family his enturbulation is so constant that he is little by little losing free theta into lock, secondary and engram entheta and will gradually decline down the scale. The only thing which would remedy this is for him to have at the same time another environment which is higher on the Tone Scale than he is which would tend to unenturbulate the free theta that becomes enturbulated in the vicinity of the family.

“I just completed New OT VIII expanded. And what a journey it has been!

I can be or do anything I desire. What a state to be in. One of my wins, (believe me there were so many,) really stood out for me. I started seeing life in a very light, funny non-serious way.
