I find it interesting that the 'attainment of spiritual state of clear' is about 'attitudes, feelings, emotions, fears, purposes, dysfunctions and disabilities' which are all addressed adequately in the fields of psychology and psychiatry.
Its as if dianetics/scientology is a business offering psychological services by unqualified practitioners, and getting around the law by calling itself a religion...

I watched the first 9 minutes to see what the fuss is all about.
CONCLUSION:
1. Standard Scientology fare--a speaker with "total certainty" briefs beings of lesser knowingness about wondrous sounding states or wins, if they apply Dr. Hubbard's breakthrough technology. Scientology! It all sounds so sensational, simple and safe. Whether Scientologists believe their own lies, or not, does not change the tragic outcome of allowing them inside your mind to try installing a homo novis operating system.
2. Dexter likes to punctuate his "r-factors" with emphatic rhetorical confirmations, such as "in fact". Dexter assures the listener that "engrams" do "in fact" exist. As compelling proof of this "fact" he describes them with calm scientific certitude. The same calm scientific certitude that Dexter exhibited in countless auditing sessions, where he (as pre-clear) described his many experiences out in intergalactic space--trillions of years ago--where he had God-like powers and blew up entire civilizations on a whim or "for a game". Because "a thetan likes games". Dexter did do all these things, in fact.
3. Dexter speaks extensively of "clearing" and "releasing" one's "spiritual architecture". These must be a specialized Scn. definitions. Because in the wog world, "clearing and releasing one's architecture" is simply called foreclosure[SUP]1[/SUP].
[SUP]1[/SUP] foreclosure - noun. In Scientology, the life changing moment one learns to "flow power uplines" and "exchange in abundance" with the COS.

I don't mind or care that this guy is reaching for something I personally feel doesn't exist. Have at it. It's his behavior as an alleged hooman bein' that prompts me to denounce him. Can't say more as I've no interest in having certain things happen.

No, my friend Psychiatry/psychology is in the realm of spirituality and religion now....at least the GOOD ones.
RELIGION and spirtituality were around for EONS before Freud showed up late on the scene.
The good ones actually are using MANY techniques now that were originally in Dn and SCn from years ago, and the techniques are now mainstream for PTSD handling...
I don't wish to beat THAT dead horse, but the REAL specialists are the psychs and psychologists who do NOT use the psych drugs as a FIRST resort.
They are more in the realsm of being ministers and chaplains....
I know MANY of such specialists ....including SOME who LEFT psychiatry when THEY found Scn....
It does NOT mean that when someone is having a crisis that SOME of the drugs do not work for SOME of the people SOME of the time.

You compare therapists who are qualified in diagnosis and treatment of mental aberrations using statistically verified methods that are constantly updated with new information from many fields. You compare that with the practices developed by a conman who devised a method to produce unbelievable streams of cash using techniques to control and manipulate people's minds.
I'd definitely go for the one that has a complaints board, not the one with a jail for patients ( sorry, parishioners) that the therapies ( sorry, I mean the spiritual guidance) didn't work on.
